Quintuple GOLD sovereign + my current stacking strategy

- Have had this gold sovereign for a while now but finally got around to making a video. It really is an amazing piece and feels very heavy to hold.
I am currently holding off on buying any more gold or silver bullion (especially gold) as metal prices in the UK have gone up and the pound has weakened significantly against the dollar due to brexit - making it a poor time to purchase in my opinion. Let me know what you guys think, especially fellow British collectors.

I say buy, if you can afford it. Monetary notes losing their purchasing power will continue. Food, gas, rent, water, electric prices will continue to increase demanding more and more or your paper notes.
Spend wisely. If you can afford to exchange your government paper IOUs for gold and silver, do so.
I know a man who was purchasing gold at $800 USD, years ago. He was still buying last year at $1100. What if the silver/gold prices don't come back down? Will you cease exchanging your paper notes for gold/silver? Or, will you hold on tightly to your government paper IOUs?
Again, spend wisely. Keep stacking.
seems like the dollar in any currency is losing value daily so why hold into the cash? there's too many arguments to be made for and against but I'm like u in the keep buying mode. also semi nums I've had my eye in haven't change much or at all since the spike. they're overpriced but the sellers aren't gonna be jacking them up if they haven't been selling in the lower gold value range. I'm collecting more than investing so I'm picking things up consistently and that's gonna be my strategy going forward. good to get a discussion going tho. also I didn't say nice fat gold sov. that thing is huuuge

Very nice sovereign my friend! Buy at your own pace but I think spot will gradually climb for the next few years. I'll still be buying we just need to research our purchase and not make impulse buys right now. There are good deals available but it takes some time searching to find them. That piece is HUGE... Awesome coin... Yes, for the most part, precious metals are best bought when the market is in the doldrums... It is an expensive project to purchase them when the market is in panic. Take care of that hand/finger bro. Cheers!

Prices are high in Canada as well. I am holding off for now, hoping this may be a bubble or something. Maybe prices will fall again, that is what I am hoping. For now I am stacking fiat so I am ready to buy if there is a price drop!

nice sovereign there still deals to be had out there just uploading a video of a good deal on the congo gorilla. some people will be offloading there prize coins due to the rise so also possible to pickup some rarer stuff. as for future spot prices is a awaiting game right now till it plays out and a new trend forms. hopefully in a few weeks.

Killer coin... it's a proof. Problem is with these gorgeous coins that they should not be removed from the capsule...that's how they get the scratches. Get it back in a capsule and if you want to handle it wear fine cotton gloves or something similar.

i have many questions, what if things in Europe get worse? can't u see more panicking if other countries leave or if they have more hardships without UK's 20 BILLION POUND a year!!! donation!!!? will it be awhile before the UK itself gets back on its feet because I hear nothing but instability everywhere there? maybe gold and silver increases year soon year from here out? even countries that appear stable now like Canada aren't in good shape if u look around. i see more economic instability on a global scale from my perch..also how'd u get that nasty gash on your left hand?
Not really sure if the precious materials would go down in price when one understands how money is created in our markets.
Yeah I'm actually selling some of my silver for a small profit. Hopefully it drops back down to $16 soon so I can buy more!!!

Yeah it's £1 to $1.32 and £1 to €1.19 and if you use some fairy washing up liquid on the sov it will get the finger prints off
Ha you didn't want to buy gold back in 2016 because it's a £1000 an ounce now in 2022 it's currently £1488. Also gold is going to increase in fiat value over time because the fiat currency is inflating all the time due to constant money printing, nothing to do with brexit mate lol. Gold keeps more of less the same buying power throughout history. That is why gold is a very good store of wealth and hedge against inflation.
