    4:45 the reason they don't usually do it is because it lowers energy effiency.

    Magnetic cables are more waterproof.
    No holes for water to get in.
    Same as SHOKZ headphones.
    Works for me.
    Cheers

    Love these kind of videos. I've got the elitewheels ent 2.0 as a second wheelset for my gravel bike and they are so good. My next step will be building a road bike around them. I really hope they keep these quality products at low prices and don't go the premium only route.

      Yeh when my bike shop said I'd have to spend $1000+ on carbon wheels, I was slightly disappointed because I'd already spent $4k on the bike, and now I'd have to dish out another $1k.
      Very happy to have stumbled across EliteWheels though. Like I said in the video, they saved me a lot of money!

    Try the Rockbros air pump, it is much smaller than the Xiaomi meaning you can take it out on rides, in case of random flats.

    • @fitin30challenge

      Ah yeh, I've had a look at those. The one thing that stopped me buying it is that I can't fit it inside my Trek Domane frame storage, whereas a mini bike pump, I can.
      It's crazy how small the electric pumps are getting though.

    I have those specialized socks. They actually say spectalized instead of specialized 😂

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  11 дней назад

      That's funny 😂 Interestingly though, after this video I did go ahead and buy a real pair of Specialized socks. So now I have a fake pair in grey, and a real pair in gold.
      But honestly, there's not much between them in terms of quality and functionality between the fake and real pair. I bought the fake pair for a few dollars, whereas the real pair cost me about $15.
      If I were to buy these socks again, I'd go with the real pair for two reasons: 1. they're very slightly better quality, and 2. I don't like supporting companies pretending to be another company.

    Nice list. But personally, I wouldn't buy anything to consume food/water from off Aliexpress. No idea what plastic it's made of and if they adhere to any safety standards.

    You can buy e really cheap cable that you rant about if that is only the issue. It is standard band or watch charging cable. So for 1$ more on top of 31$ problem solved :) I keep my cables on the bike that I need on the field. I just don't like magnetic cable on the bike when you are off road, it will slip away instead of charging it... And you count on it that it is charging your light when you need it. And it charges slowly lol Guess for the road bike it is ok. Nice video :)

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  3 месяца назад

      Nice, I didn't know that. I use the SeeMee 200 rear light now anyway which is superior in terms of brightness and build quality, so I'll just continue using that. But good to know I can buy a cheap proprietary charging cable for the other rear light.

      @@fitin30challenge Yeah I know you pretty much said what you think about other standards XD guess you at least can buy a new iPhone now with USB C XD or could stick to Android for the principles that you had about Micro USB and other cables XD I am using just the Ali S**t for too long. One of my bikes has still lights from 6-7 years ago Still working great :) so nothing wrong with Micro USB IMO.

    I also bought the ENT2.0 in 60mm

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  Месяц назад

      Very nice! Why did you go for the 60mm instead of 50mm? I do like how the 60mm look, but I was just a bit concerned about getting thrown around with crosswind. Saying that, I've not experienced that at all with my 50s, so 60s would probably be fine too.

      @@fitin30challenge i came from regular alu fulcrum db whatever, and yeah you need to really hold on to the handlebar... it gets scary if 40kmh+ and coming into the winds, sometimes i slow a bit down but its not too bad. i went for the 60mm since where I currently ride its very flat, and I hope that the extra 100-200g wont be too hard on the climbs. so far they do good, front wheel had to be centered after a few rides tho.
      Not sure how windy it is at your area, so it is noticeable but for me so far all good

    What is the Garmin mount called you have on your bike? the one with two clip ins? And what type of garmin alarm is that you mentioned?

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  3 месяца назад

      The mounts are Trek's priority system. They call it the Blendr System. Very well designed - if a little pricey. But worth it for the clean handlebars.
      And the Garmin has an in-built alarm feature, where you can activate it, and when the Garmin feels vibration, it sets the alarm off. Quite handy when popping into a coffee shop real quick.

    Those specialised socks aren't real, i have some 'Rapha' ones. They are excellent though!

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  2 месяца назад +1

      Ah, good to know.
      Since making this video, I have actually bought some gold Specialised socks (which definitely are real), and there's not that much difference between the fake and the real.
      The real were not that much more, so unless you were on a super tight budget, I'd just go straight for the real stuff.

    • @fitin30challenge
      @fitin30challenge  Месяц назад

      Honestly, I never bothered to upgrade my Trek Domane's saddle because it's quite good already. If I bought a budget AliExpress saddle, it would probably be a downgrade.
