I've researched all my local mayoral candidates, I checked their policies and what they stand for, and I've decided I'm voting for the green party. As well as Dawah, we're supposed to care about the environment. Muslims should be eco warriors too.

Some good points made about sadiq khan and hamza yousef. When asked about homosexuality, they could've been more honest and said they're secular and that what islam says on the issue is irrelevant to them. That would've been more principled and even muslims would respect them more for it.

I will not be voting Labour party in any shape or form. I can't stand Keir Starmer and most of the party. I wish Jeremy Corbyn was running for the mayoral election as an independent.
Corbyn is a nice guy. However, he is too weak. That's why the media push him around. Galloway is much stronger. He can cut through the media lies, and he wins elections. That's why the establishment fears him.

I am not bored of Jeremy Corbyn bashing but I think its but more than he deserves. He is a pleasant person even if u disagreed with his politics.
What a ridiculous position. You will never have a candidate that you agree with on every matter. You have to choose a candidate that has policies closest to your views. For example, just because the Labour leadership has been complicit in the Israeli genocide, it doesn't mean that all Labour candidates are equally guilty. Many of them have opposed the Labour leadership on this issue. You have to choose candidates in each area on a case by case basis. Choose the person that is best for the area that they are intending to represent, or choose the lesser of two evils.
Sadiq Khan is a million miles better than any other candidate on the ballot paper.
So naive. Gaza is the awakening. No one deserves a vote who hasn't condemned their party or leaders for their stance on Gaza. Lesser of two evils does not apply here.

@@Shah2 no, the lesser of two evils applies here. If you care about Gaza, then you have to ask yourself what vote will help the people of Gaza the most. It is clear that a vote for a candidate that has no chance of winning will mean that the crazy Susan Hall might win. That is not good for the people of Gaza.

ULEZ is not a war on motorists as Robert incorrectly characterises it. Instead, it is a deliberate policy to address poor air quality responsible for curtailing people's health and life. Furthermore, as an active cyclist and pedestrian, London desperately needs to reduce its vehicle usage (except for the disabled, obviously) to make it a more liveable and people-friendly city. BTW, these are all manifestly Islamic imperatives. Driving is a privilege not a right, especially not at the expense of human beings. Try to get a truly Islamic rather than pseudo Islamic perspective 5Pillars, for God's sake!

The moment they put legislation in place that forces you to accept things that are against your belief then there is something else going on. Tolerance and being forced to accept certain behaviour are two totally different things.
