So happy to see Wade back. Was always my favourite to watch. Always a sense of expectation when the ball gets in his hands. The way he tracked the play from off his wing all the way to the other wing for his 2nd try was brilliant.
So much better than any football match! Pure entertainment, flair, jeopardy and twists & turns from the first minute right until the last! Great to see Wadey back and Gloucester actually winning after their awful season last year…
Not just better entertainment. There were 18k people there. Everyone was drinking No trouble Didn't even see 1 police officer and none were needed. Atmosphere in ygd stadium was incredible
@SVAgxlxxi can't blame him when england were playing boring rugby and not picking him while the British and Irish lions were. The nfl is potentially astronomically more money and also an incredible sport
1. Wade is seemingly awesome - hearing a lot about him being ‘back’ - where was he? (I can google, but nice to hear from fans) 2. No hate, but is stadium ends usually so empty? Seems like a great match!
They only open 3 stands. No point opening up all the bars and stewarding the 4th stand beside of the costs. And it created a better atmosphere to have people packed into 3 stands rather than spread out around 4. There was 17,000 people there so not too bad. Attendances usually get bigger throughout the season as well
@@24hr_rugby_jake Yeah Ashton gate is a 27,000 capacity Stadium, even the upper Lansdown stand was empty (asides from a singular block, presumably player's family reserved seats). Unfortunately Rugby just doesn't quite get the same sort of numbers as football, and the ground was built for footy. Still, 17,000+ in attendance is a good number, and it's likely to get better as the season goes on. Bristol vs Bath is usually a sell out, though that's being played in Cardiff this year. I seem to recall Bristol Leicester last year being about 24,000 or so. Rugby Jake has hit the nail on the head really though. The cost of all the staff needed to open the Atyeo stand is not even close to warranted most of the time. Generally, the other 3 stands are more than enough. It's only on exceptional games where huge numbers are expected that it gets opened. It's a bit of a shame to have an empty stand like that but the average crowd numbers have been increasing year on year on year for Bristol, so perhaps one day it'll be open and populated more often than not. One can but hope!
Bit frustrating that Foley basically takes out what appears to be the first choice runner for Bristol (at 2:17) but decides to just play on. I would have thought that warranted a scrum-restart but apparently not. I suppose end of the day it's actually the next pass after that collision that leads to the intercept, and they had about 4 other players whom they could have passed to and avoided said intercept altogether...
Don't know how it started, but Malins and Wade are best friends, aren't they? Max gave him 2 precious presents. Genge should cut the clown stuff a bit and focus on his scrummaging technique.
Wade is back on it 🍒
Wow, what a game!
Good win on the road!! But defence is poor? Falling off tackles and toooo narrow?? Come on Glaws sort it and we could be a contender!🤞
As Wasp ,,,, so so great to see Christian Wade back …. Once a Wasp , Always a Wasp …. Just such a shame the owners destroyed a founder member club
Harlequins will welcome you all back.

This and the Parma/Munster game we got some games for the ages
As said below numerous times....great to see Wade back!
What a match. Also I love both sets of new kit these teams have.
Wow wow wow
Been a bit burnt out on rugby from last year but that's just pure gold
What a game! Wade ✈️
Hi from Brasil, Rio de Janeiro!
Who’s your team?
What a game this was, I'm not a fan of either although respect both. But as a Bath fan I so enjoyed watching this one.
Wade not getting more england caps is probably the biggest crime ever in English rugby
he chose money over the love of the sport. shite stint in the nfl and came crawling back… wonder what LRZ is gonna do when he’s cut 😒
Only if you dont understand the game. Hes a poor defensive player, average in the air, poor kicker.
@@SVAgxlxxi That isnt true either.

Wheeeeeels on wade! 🔥
Always a banger
Epic game of rugby! So entertaining
Well done Glos. Great win!
What a game awesome
Outstanding
Hell of a match. Come on Glaws! 🍒⚪
Wade is taking that record eh?
Wow😮
Best game in years
So glad wade is back

Tried his hand at the NFL for a few seasons
Wade went to nfl for 4 years than played for racing in Paris for 2, he’s back in the prem after 6 years

Would be good to see why a yellow card is given. Gives a better understanding of the game
Pretty much this game says that the defense from both sides are not good but the attack was great
Show us the yellow card incidents @premrugby PLS !!
Well done Gloucester
Malins was never catching wade even if he is in his 30s, hes never had blistering pace, just good at finishing moves off
I really wish they’d show the yellow cards in highlights.
Gloucester almost threw it away

Is Wade worth a cap?
Something must be done about all these froward passes (not reference to this game)
Wade is a freak
