I just came back from Big Sky and Bozeman and I understand why John Dutton and people like him want to preserve this beautiful land from being exploited. Love the mountains and culture there. Montana is breathtaking place.

California is a total gong show of warped ideals (money is the most important, community and helping your neighbors don't matter) and rural people arent like that. Absolutely the best written show ever that I have seen on tv.. These actors are spot on cannot wait to see whats coming next in season 4! I l have always loved Kevin Costner and the casting director did a brilliant job of putting this cast together. I personally love this show and can't wait for the next.
I just want to thank Tayler Sheridan for using camera stabilization, and tracks. I detest the jerky in and out movements of some shows. It becomes nauseating to watch. Yellowstone is smooth and easy to follow . Thank you 😀😀👍👍❤️❤️

I actually thought that at least John Dutton's attack could have been perpetrated by the biker gang. They actually asked his name before they started shooting. I know that is a stretch. But it seems like that would be the only reason to have the bikers in this story arc to begin with.
Timeline doesn’t fit for Rourke or Jamie’s dad, not enough time to coordinate all those hits on that same day. The Montana militia was holding Tate for the Beck Brothers and we never did see Malcom Beck die. I’m sure the Montana militia is larger than what they faced. Could it be a revenge hit by them? It could’ve been the biker gang too.

I kinda wanna here from Ian (Ryan) and Denim (Colby) more in these Bunkhouse videos . Jefferson (Jimmy) always takes over and talks 75 percent of the time. I like all three characters, nothing against Jefferson, just want him to step back and let the other 2 talk.
If John Dutton want to save his ranch, he sell the land to the tribe, with a 100 year lease to run cattle on it. Given that his daughter in law is a member and his grandson is half and a tribal member. That the best choice. The tribe get its land protected, can get limited access and john dutton protects his main ranch.

If they win, the tribe and reservation is screwed but at least with the Duttons on the land, there is room to bargain and get along, but not with the investors.

I started watching this show a few days back and used to refer to IMDb to see how many episodes the characters would survive in the show, but with 310, I have no reference at all and I'm lost. Can't wait for season 04!!!
I wondered that too for a moment, then the pace of the show made me forget. There are always so many things happening that I can't focus on one story line long enough to question it.
This episode was good for the last season season 3 in season 4 is going to be a war with rip find out if Beth is dead he's going to get nuts he might go out to Jamie and all the people who wants John land is going to be great season 4 can't wait for next year and thanks for everybody making this show possible 🤠

You see on other shows how quantity diminishes quality. See the episode limit like having a character limit in comment sections (or like on Twitter). You gotta think more thoroughly what you really want to say (or show). Less room for mere drivel and dull filler episodes.
Denny - U agree, it's a great show. I see the writing, filming and editing on a par with the effort that goes into a large screen movie production. That takes, time, effort, money and support staff to put it on the air. They don't seem to just be shooting video here.

Greedily i would agree but logically im happy with 10 great eps vs filler eps or stringing things along. If they were to do anything id hope theyd shortern the time between seasons. So we dont have to wait as long and can have more yellowstone before someone inevitability cancels it or quits or whatever.
Jamie isn't responsible for any of the hits, I think him saying that to Rip was to make us believe he's involved especially after Garrett said about killing the King to take over the Empire (surely it would be an Emperor?). Jamie won't harm the Duttons, but he may do some dodgy stuff to protect them and improve his own finances and also increase his influence to keep himself as Attorney General or possibly even Governor.
I’ve loved Jimmys character from day one. I love seeing the fun side of Rip. Hoping John survives, I’m sure he will. Kayce needs to survive. Im not sure how Beth survives that blast, but I have two suspects in the hit on the Duttons! Angela or Jamie
I've been having withdrawals since the season ended. This show is very addictive. Gosh I hope our fav actors & actresses survive all the shooting @ end of last show. Jamie is going to try to take complete control of Yellowstone. As a character I don't really care for him. I do think it will be neat if there is a wedding!!
Seriously Casey is going to survive. Not sure about Beth or John, but the discussion from the bunkhouse boys gave me another perspective and now I'm beginning to wonder who brought all the violence. Fork and his crew or maybe Angela Blue Thunder? Guess we'll have to wait till next season to find out. I hate Cliffhangers.

There's a scene from Sicario 2(same writer as the show), where a general tells this CIA ops guy that "we learned that our enemies are a helluva lot easier to deal with when they're fighting each other". Writers like to use the same concepts and ideas. That with the Thunder chicks comments about yearning to take back their land using extraordinary means. I think it's likely that she's trying to get John Dutton and Market Equity to fight each other.
Mia loves him, but only if he makes the choices she wants. I was happy when he found someone who loved him for who he is. Forcing someone to make a choice, is not fair.
I think Beth dies and Kayce survives and links up with Rip, rainwater’s guys, and bunkhouse guys to get revenge. John Dutton survives but is in a coma at hospital. Can’t wait for season 4!!!
I think this series has it figured out, people have a need for drama/trauma. We evolved in this world about the only way to survive was to some how evolve a need for at least a trace of it. This plugs together the pack of sopranos, the power family of dallas, and the raw violence of SOA, and somehow makes it enjoyable for everyone to watch.
The only move John Dutton has in this and I have predicted this from the beginning is to Give it to the Indians in trust with clauses that allow any Dutton familly member to live on there doing what ever it is that they want. When the Duttons are gone the Indians have it all back. No one can touch the ranch then and its over. Its pretty obvious.
Taylor Sheridan did a bang up job of cliffhanging. Who did what? Jamie and Garrett did John so Jamie would have the last say for the ranch and he will line his pockets. If some of these people don't die, Jamie may very well be taking a train. Willa and Roarke are bad to the bone, they may survive season 4 episode 2, but will probably take the train in episode 3. Someone asked if this may be due to other unforeseen characters, maybe. How about Mia and Laramie, maybe Walker made a deal in prison, he is branded, makes him want to get even. Some of you folks carry this on more, what do you think? Time to figure out what, who and why.

I can remember back in the 80's when I was a kid, shows like Dallas, Knots Landing and Dynasty that had one main enemy. Occasionally there was a minor enemy but mostly the main enemy got the most attention.
Yellowstone is a show about personal choices and character in a backdrop of beautiful old west mountains. Rip didn't TELL Jimmy not to rodeo - he showed Jimmy the consequences. Even the actors miss this. Rip (and John Dutton) gave Jimmy a choice new path (a new life) and resources that absolutely NOBODY else was going to in life. They gave Jimmy a fork in his path of inevitable PRISON or honest work - and a look at the rodeo reality that most rodeo cowboys end up badly physically damaged if that is a lifetime career. That damage makes and restricts life's options later in life as with Lloyd - who also mentor's him away from rodeo. When someone gives you a honest choice to do better, you owe them more than just an employee's daily wage worth of work. Millennial Mia's discounting of that completely demonstrates the selfishness that passively degrades American societal responsibility to a greater good over self ambition. That's why Mia is a rodeo entertainer as a barrel racer - working - but really not producing a thing or service for the community good. Jimmy may want out of the bunk house and to have a wife and maybe kids someday in his own house, but they will not be possible on the road busted up in 10 years... or demonstrated in his last scene in Season 3. Both "Mia" and "Jimmy" miss that.
whoa, some good deep stuff there,, i just saw one hour of this show,, looks like it could be a great show but im not puttin up with all that cussin,,, totally unnecessary to make the points they want to make.. im a local, my ranch is just on the other side of the range they show, the real farmers and ranchers im around are God fearin folk and most dont talk like that unless a cow stomps on em.... guys like costner who used to play good parts degrade themselves in their old age when they should be showin some class and wisdom.. jimmys too soft and the coed thing in the bunkhouse is all hollywood... all those actors need to leave...those guys wude all turn into a pack of wild dogs and be at each other...

I noticed that too. When he was sitting at the right end of the table and laughed really hard his teeth did look yellow. Maybe it was the lighting filming in the bunkhouse? Or I guess he could just be a hardcore smoker or was born that way.
it is probably some type of salve they used that from way back for burns etc. I was raised up going to a family farm every weekend to work it and my grandma used a salve on me for a burn. Thats my guess anyway.

@@kvakma I watched a few times and from the way it's shot Jenny could have gotten shot from a long distance. Hung on the horse's bit spooked the horse started to, buck and that's why Jimmy fell off his dead as he did not saying that he's dead though. Just my thoughts
This is a good show. However, they should make it a whole season of 20 or more shows rather than a measly 10 episodes.
You see on other shows how quantity diminishes quality. See the episode limit like having a character limit in comment sections (or like on Twitter). You gotta think more thoroughly what you really want to say (or show). Less room for mere drivel and dull filler episodes.
Denny - U agree, it's a great show. I see the writing, filming and editing on a par with the effort that goes into a large screen movie production. That takes, time, effort, money and support staff to put it on the air. They don't seem to just be shooting video here.

If they were to do anything id hope theyd shortern the time between seasons. So we dont have to wait as long and can have more yellowstone before someone inevitability cancels it or quits or whatever.
Jamie isn't responsible for any of the hits, I think him saying that to Rip was to make us believe he's involved especially after Garrett said about killing the King to take over the Empire (surely it would be an Emperor?). Jamie won't harm the Duttons, but he may do some dodgy stuff to protect them and improve his own finances and also increase his influence to keep himself as Attorney General or possibly even Governor.

I've been having withdrawals since the season ended. This show is very addictive. Gosh I hope our fav actors & actresses survive all the shooting @ end of last show. Jamie is going to try to take complete control of Yellowstone. As a character I don't really care for him. I do think it will be neat if there is a wedding!!
Seriously Casey is going to survive. Not sure about Beth or John, but the discussion from the bunkhouse boys gave me another perspective and now I'm beginning to wonder who brought all the violence. Fork and his crew or maybe Angela Blue Thunder? Guess we'll have to wait till next season to find out. I hate Cliffhangers.

There's a scene from Sicario 2(same writer as the show), where a general tells this CIA ops guy that "we learned that our enemies are a helluva lot easier to deal with when they're fighting each other". Writers like to use the same concepts and ideas. That with the Thunder chicks comments about yearning to take back their land using extraordinary means. I think it's likely that she's trying to get John Dutton and Market Equity to fight each other.

I think this series has it figured out, people have a need for drama/trauma. We evolved in this world about the only way to survive was to some how evolve a need for at least a trace of it. This plugs together the pack of sopranos, the power family of dallas, and the raw violence of SOA, and somehow makes it enjoyable for everyone to watch.
It's the best since Breaking Bad in my opinion. I can't wait to see the next episode. Every week. God, Rip is gorgeous!?!!!!?

The only move John Dutton has in this and I have predicted this from the beginning is to Give it to the Indians in trust with clauses that allow any Dutton familly member to live on there doing what ever it is that they want. When the Duttons are gone the Indians have it all back.

Why Did Rip go after Jimmy in the first place? I’ve watched the show twice and haven’t been able to piece it together.
Taylor Sheridan did a bang up job of cliffhanging. Who did what? Jamie and Garrett did John so Jamie would have the last say for the ranch and he will line his pockets. If some of these people don't die, Jamie may very well be taking a train. Willa and Roarke are bad to the bone, they may survive season 4 episode 2, but will probably take the train in episode 3. Someone asked if this may be due to other unforeseen characters, maybe. How about Mia and Laramie, maybe Walker made a deal in prison, he is branded, makes him want to get even. Some of you folks carry this on more, what do you think? Time to figure out what, who and why.
I just hope Taylor Sheridan doesn’t take too much from the Sutter playbook and just make the whole show a constant tragedy.

I can remember back in the 80's when I was a kid, shows like Dallas, Knots Landing and Dynasty that had one main enemy. Yellowstone is a show about personal choices and character in a backdrop of beautiful old west mountains. Rip didn't TELL Jimmy not to rodeo - he showed Jimmy the consequences. Even the actors miss this. Rip (and John Dutton) gave Jimmy a choice new path (a new life) and resources that absolutely NOBODY else was going to in life. They gave Jimmy a fork in his path of inevitable PRISON or honest work - and a look at the rodeo reality that most rodeo cowboys end up badly physically damaged if that is a lifetime career. That damage makes and restricts life's options later in life as with Lloyd - who also mentor's him away from rodeo. When someone gives you a honest choice to do better, you owe them more than just an employee's daily wage worth of work. Millennial Mia's discounting of that completely demonstrates the selfishness that passively degrades American societal responsibility to a greater good over self ambition. That's why Mia is a rodeo entertainer as a barrel racer - working - but really not producing a thing or service for the community good. Jimmy may want out of the bunk house and to have a wife and maybe kids someday in his own house, but they will not be possible on the road busted up in 10 years... or demonstrated in his last scene in Season 3. Both "Mia" and "Jimmy" miss that.
whoa, some good deep stuff there,, i just saw one hour of this show,, looks like it could be a great show but im not puttin up with all that cussin,,, totally unnecessary to make the points they want to make.. im a local, my ranch is just on the other side of the range they show, the real farmers and ranchers im around are God fearin folk and most dont talk like that unless a cow stomps on em.... guys like costner who used to play good parts degrade themselves in their old age when they should be showin some class and wisdom.. jimmys too soft and the coed thing in the bunkhouse is all hollywood... all those actors need to leave...those guys wude all turn into a pack of wild dogs and be at each other...

I noticed that too. When he was sitting at the right end of the table and laughed really hard his teeth did look yellow. Maybe it was the lighting filming in the bunkhouse? Or I guess he could just be a hardcore smoker or was born that way.

it is probably some type of salve they used that from way back for burns etc. I was raised up going to a family farm every weekend to work it and my grandma used a salve on me for a burn. Thats my guess anyway.
