Enjoyed your videos! My daughter moved into North Kansas City and loves the area. I have visited her several times and I tell others when I go back home that KC really offers a lot of areas to explore and enjoy!

Please do more research before you say some of these things. Desirability doesn’t drop the further from downtown if anything it’s close to the opposite. I’m not sure where you’re getting your information from for desirability. Kcmo has more murders per year than St. Louis. There’s actually more jobs on just 1 census tract in Johnson county around the old sprint campus than in all of downtown Kcmo (the loop)(The census tract is 2.7 square miles and downtown KC is 1 square miles). It seems like you run with the downtown kcmo crowd who perpetuates ignorance and tries to fix the cities decades of urban decay by misleading people. Also Johnson county Kansas has the highest cost of living, the most jobs, highest income and and the most overall density out of any county

Hi! Thanks for commenting. My comment that desirability decreases the further you get from downtown was a generalization as I mentioned in the video. This is reflected by housing prices and days on market in the homes further out on the outskirts of the metro vs the competition for rentals and homes for purchase the closer you get to downtown. There is no doubt Johnson County is a great place to live that people love! It's soooo competitive in the real estate market in many parts of JoCo right now. But even within JoCo, this is true. Generally speaking, the further West or South you go, the less competition there is for rentals and homes to purchase and the lower the home prices are. Of course this isn't true across the entire metro! It's just a way to help orient people that aren't familiar with the area to how it's laid it. I respect and appreciate your options though! I see where you're coming from!

@@RachtheRealtorKC If you base it on stuff like crime and what people are willing to pay it’s quite the opposite. You can also look on Zillow and the average home value is 414K on Zillow for Johnson county and Jackson county is only 215,000K on Zillow. It seems Jackson county is just more affordable which doesn’t really equate to desirable. Also Jackson county and Wyandotte county have the most crime in the area.

@@RachtheRealtorKC I think that’s a bad generalization. I’ve been zillowing individual houses and neighborhoods. places In south Overland Park and south Leawood the home prices definitely pricier than northern OP or Roeland park and more than wealthier areas like Brookside and Roanoke. And the wealthiest part of Olathe is out west off K-10. The houses in Waldo area are pretty cheap too and if you go anywhere east of downtown it’s completely broke and the houses are basically dirt cheap. Kck is pretty cheap too

@@iknowdeweybrudda6564 I get your points! I think there is some truth to what we are both saying, just kind of depends on how you look at things. Appreciate the great conversation!
