That is an awesome setup. I'm surprised Can Am doesn't offer this in their lineup. It would be a hot item with forest industry and other bases that need to move crew and gear combined.
Hey I'm looking of doing this. I own a 6x6 and was planning to just buy a max. Is it complicated? Seems to me you can just change out the rear differential on the max and attach the third axle and swap out the beds. Any help would be appreciated
Looks great! Ok so how bout this. Take the regular single cab 6x6. Could we bolt one more set of axles and wheels with a new diff to the back of that to make it an 8x8? Theoretically. I understand at that point we could lose some streering authority.
The hydraulic part is from brp. We then do a warn wireless remote and have to wire it in a certain. If you have any question cause the wiring is a little tricky you can call our Service Manager Darren 575/524-3626 and we can help you out on the wiring.
Great machine. The problem is that dealer. He owns every dealer around that sales can am, including elpaso and Albuquerque and Alamogordo. I have bought two new big ticket items out of this dealer. There will not be a third. Worst customer service i have aver had. Major sleaze factor on the way they go about their business. They just started putting the prices on their machines. Could you imagine having to ask how much an item cost. The place is a joke. Highly recommend staying away from this dealer in Las Cruises. I love my Can Am Defender. But it's not worth buying off of this group. They almost destroyed my machine. I purchased the lube for life package at the dealership. Look at the fine print. Just oil change. They don't grease or even check other fluids. I went over 5 thousand miles without greasing the bushings on my suspension. It destroyed my bushings and did damage to the bolt holes and destroyed my frot tires. And then, after finding out they didn't do the service they lied about. What is lube for life? Read the fine print. I'm very anal with maintenance. As one should be. But being miss gided from your dealer about the maintenance of my 35 thousand dollar machine wrong. Stay away! I would have been better off with the Polaris. Just because of Las Cruises power sports. FJB and FLCPS!
ATV's has come full circle and evolved into cars again 👍
These can do infinitely more than cars, their offroading capability is unmatched except for extremely built jeeps or something like them.
