I'm glad the owner actually knows every single bit of his machine and how it works. Most now adays just take a stack of money and have 0 idea of what went into their machines. Great job on the build and your knowledge in UTV's
I'm not a big mud guy but that guy's is wicked crazy! Love it! Good job! He didn't mention how he keeps the battery or batteries charged with all those accessories especially the big winches.
First of all: good job 👍 😂 No, for reals tho. Did anyone else see that bigg rabbit in dart across the screen @ 14:04. Cant believe Luke missed it. Haha
www.forceturbo.com they have a defender on 10psi (requires injectors, intercooler, plugs, fuel pump) but I believe and dont quote me; they are getting 130hp to the wheels from them.
Hummy Hero there’s actually a system to get into it. You basically gotta run, bounce off the front tire and while in the air assume a seating position. The hope is to land in the seat. Sometimes with muddy clothes I’ve been known to slip right out 😂
Si se ve cabron el ""quad"" pero ...ya es muy grande. No seria mejor un camion de volteo o una Ram 1500. Pero si se puede decir que es el emperador de las cuatrimotos.
I don’t think a truck would make it into the trail entrance mate. Many Jeep owners have said the same thing and I end up winching them out. 40” of articulating ground clearance is significant
I appreciate the build because I see the amount of time and money put into it but let's be honest here. This is nothing but a show pony. No way in hell does this get trail riden because it's way to wide and tall so it's not very practical on 99% of trails. If he is only doing maintenance on the portals once or twice a year that is a dead give away it rarely sees mud either. Anyone that has owned portals knows you do just as much maintenance as riding when it comes to portals.
Also Portals are completely sealed units. They tend to be cleaner when riding mud because speeds are slower. When you get up to higher speeds and spin them is when you need more frequent changes. FYI
@@kingbossquadDon't take this as me being a hater. I respect the machine because of it being heavily modified and I see the time and effort it took. It's a very big learning curb when getting to that size. You pretty much have to build the machine from ground up if you want reliability. That's fine but as tall and wide as it is it couldn't fit in the vast majority of trails. Atv parks and maintained trails I could see but unmaintained and woods riding there is no damn way. I've ran portals on 3 machine so far and know countless amounts of people who run them. On every one I've did an equal amount of maintaining as riding. It's just the "norm" when getting into the portal game. Yes, they are sealed, but if it stays in the mud the majority of its life then you are constantly maintaining them. If you water ride, and hit a few holes here in there then the maintenance is bare minimum. Not knocking the quality of portals, just speaking from experience, but they do have a long way to go.
Really surprised about the estimated weight. That is over 2.5 times the weight of a Polaris Ranger 6x6. 4K seems like a very high estimate, even with all of the extra stuff added to this rig. Either way, I love it. I have a 21 year old Tacoma (stoc for now, but getting several upgrades in less than a month) I wheel with, but would love to have something like this.
@@kingbossquad that is a heavy deck, must be high quality and can take a beating. This thing is about 500lbs heavier than my 99 Tacoma SR5 TRD Off-Road 4x4 access cab with the 5 speed manual, lol. Looks like the brakes were upgraded as well to match the weight. Nice.
This guy is keeping the canadian economy rolling on his own.
The Fall hahaha. I need to hide this comment from my significant other ASAP haha
This "King Boss Quad" is my son ...very intelligent young man very proud !

My favourite part was the “because we like to party” comment. Looks awesome nick great job.
I'm glad the owner actually knows every single bit of his machine and how it works. Most now adays just take a stack of money and have 0 idea of what went into their machines. Great job on the build and your knowledge in UTV's
Agreed!
Not only wicked looking but all the flashiness is actually functional! Love that flat bed towing capability if needed.
I'm not a big mud guy but that guy's is wicked crazy! Love it! Good job! He didn't mention how he keeps the battery or batteries charged with all those accessories especially the big winches.
Ranger6x6 dang you’re right. 3 yellow tops!
I think you're going to be getting some calls from the good Ole boys down south
Epeater86 learned from the best
Why would we be calling him? We'll just build it ourselves
It's cool. Thank you very much.
I wish there was more than a few seconds worth of seeing it drive and capabilities.
Stay tuned! We'll have another video coming really soon with more ride footage and lots more information.
It's on Mark Freeman's channel to.
Cracks me up how well spoken and proper he is. Im used to these goobers from the deep south with a build like this 😄
KBQ's no dummy. He knows his stuff...
@@dirttraxtv 🤘 def seems like it! Things killer
Oh HECK YA!
That is correct!
Nick. Sask rn lol
How much money did you put in that

Beer might’ve gotten to him haha
First of all: good job 👍
😂
No, for reals tho. Did anyone else see that bigg rabbit in dart across the screen @ 14:04. Cant believe Luke missed it. Haha
LOL!!!
Time for a road trip.
I like when you guys take trips. I went to the Black Hills after you were there.
Go west...
Wtf nick no king boss quad jersey
Lol awesome build again
Super informative, that was a great episode.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really didn't think I'd like it but yeah, it's legit badass.
That thing is awesome!!
That’ll do it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
3:13 “When you skip leg day” Great build tho 😂😂😂
Nice build!
Very knowledgeable guy!
Oh ya bud!
Love the video y’all put out from hog Waller when ya were still getting everything sorted. I stay not to far and it sucks I missed it. Looks great
Legend.
Seen that ninja run by in the background great content keep it up
Thanks, will do!
this thing is amazing
Idk why but I really need one of these
Just woah
Nick you’ve gotta come to sask now.
us boys down here in texas " my fourtrax 300 will pull through stuff that wont"
You Honda guys I tell ya 😜🤪
Portals are the bestest
You have to say “ Trust me boys, I’m not compensating for anything “ some where in this vid. Just for the haters. lol.
Lol that thing is insane..
Drive with ostracruizer plz!!!!!!
He has a couple times. He’s in some old osta videos
That’s Canada for you
You mean awesome? Yes.
The cab seems to have an Amish buggy look to it! Totally cool machine though!
Put a tank on there and you got a high clearance sprayer
Haha. Good one
That is correct I am writing a comment
Lockhart's BRP dealer hat? That where I got my XMR.
Nice ride. Is it allowed on trails? The Roxor is smaller and it is not allowed
I'm curious about the power figures for this when the turbo is cranked to its maximum boost setting
www.forceturbo.com they have a defender on 10psi (requires injectors, intercooler, plugs, fuel pump) but I believe and dont quote me; they are getting 130hp to the wheels from them.
So is project mud run finished? Are you guys going to bring it to any more mud runs?
We will likely be racing it again at some point this season. Still running strong.
That thing rocks, he didn’t even show us all the lights.....
hahah there are literally so many.
@@kingbossquad Especially the rock light in the Pelican!!!!!
What a thing
🙃😮😮
“That is correct “
Put a brush truck fire sled on the back and lights there you go you got to go brush rig
Independence county off-road got something quite similar 🦅
Eli Skelton ya we spoke about it! Good group of guys. Was happy to answer some questions.
Needs a tracked version!
What’s the cost of this thing??
Probably about 150k
Very cool. But that thing is so tall you could never get it into Bush trails for fishing or hunting because you’ll hit tree branches.
We've actually had a ton of hunters ask for this flat deck on their stock rigs! We hear you!
Hog Waller is open. Since you like to party come hang out with us southern boys again!
Just waiting for Canada to open up!
That cooler costs more than my house
I'm not far from you in Ohio, take my money and please build this for me lol
Do tires that heavy kill top end?
portals and turbo get them rolling!
What’s the comfortable cruising speed?
We had it at 75KM at 5000rpm.
Let’s build something that blows as much money as possible? Cool yup 👍
Where’s the dually set up that I seen in your other video?
HaywireRacing we kept it off for this segment.
Btw. It’s super bad to the bone. Greatest build I have ever seen!
When will the riding video be out?
Next week!!
Can I buy one?
The wheels on the passanger side are backwards 😕
Who's the big guy?
KBQ
Wheres the step ladder to get in it lol
Hummy Hero there’s actually a system to get into it. You basically gotta run, bounce off the front tire and while in the air assume a seating position. The hope is to land in the seat. Sometimes with muddy clothes I’ve been known to slip right out 😂
Moon Buggy, looks silly
Beerfender
Would make a decent tractor.
Put sherp tires on it
That thing looks like a crop sprayer...I wonder what the center of gravity is like and how often he risks a rollover
Looks like someone skipped leg day
So you could.... effectively, make a Defender 8x8? or 10x10... or as long as you want.
If you built two of these and welded the rear bumper to the front bumper of the one behind you you'd have a 12x12 with an HD20.
To do that, you'd have to have a "loco motive" and at least 40 acres to turn the thing around.
LOL
You’d never fit that down the trails I run.
Collab with braydon price
Needs wider tyres
I'll tell u what I know is the big it is the deeper u get stuck sometimes b ready
How much money did this cost alltogether?
I'll let KBQ comment on that.
I’m sorry
Stand around and talk ???
Drive the dam thing !!!
Si se ve cabron el ""quad"" pero ...ya es muy grande.
No seria mejor un camion de volteo o una Ram 1500.
Pero si se puede decir que es el emperador de las cuatrimotos.
That's not a utv. That's a truck.
That is a monster UTV.
Can u make this road legal
Probably not.
Why would you do this when you could have a sherp?
He has a Sherp.
I dont get the point.....might as well just use a truck to go off road if you have to get this big
I don’t think a truck would make it into the trail entrance mate. Many Jeep owners have said the same thing and I end up winching them out. 40” of articulating ground clearance is significant
@@kingbossquad That's why small Suzuki models murder many others.

Heres the math. Base machine is close to 2k. Deck 1k. Wheels are 160lbs each. Add the roof, doors, portals, its probably over 4k lbs.
