I agree with you, 100%. I was sampling the comedy of Robin Williams and he was too fast, talked too much and was way too vulgar and as a result... was freaking obnoxious! Tom Wilson has just the right amount of being funny and less vulgar... Much less! Tom is much more fun to watch and listen to!
My wife and I went and saw him on this tour, and I was so impressed by how clean his show was that I complimented him on it when we met him after the show.
I saw Tom perform at the Comedy Store in Vegas around 1989 or 1990. I had no idea how funny Biff could be. Then I met him after the show and he was one of the nicest guys I ever got a chance to talk to. Genuinely down to earth and personable. I've been a fan ever since.
I was thinking the same thing after watching him on some BTF panels... he easily could play an overprotective Dad in a family sitcom. Heck, a sitcom based on his life as an actor known for one key role, intimidating his daughter's boyfriends and dealing with his "monkey boy" son... practically writes itself.
Before he appeared at a convention in Portland, OR in 2009 I got to drink with him at a Marriott bar. Coolest guy ever, picked up everybody’s tab, completely down to earth and so much fun! Thanks Tom!! Those coconut shrimp and drinks were appreciated!
Tom Wilson was hands down the underrated actors and performers of our lifetime. As the character Biff Tannen you would have never imagined him to be one of the nicest people ever but he is no doubt. He is one of the most loved people in Hollywood and this guy would give the shirt off his back for you.
Holy crap, man! I didn't know this guy was THAT good! For 30 years of my like I had him in my mind as Biff because he has been vanished from movies. And now, thanks to this video, I'm completely surprised about his talent!
What can you say about a man of this caliber? This is a man who takes his crafts and his craftsmanship very seriously, and yet he is very down to Earth. The only thing that comes to mind is: Mr. Wilson, you have done a great job. I have been well-entertained, and even educated by you. You, sir, are a credit to mankind--more so than you realize. If I could do half if what you do, I would truly feel accomplished.
I really found myself laughing out loud tons of times!!! Tom you are such an amazing comedian! I am now a big fan!!! You are much funnier than a lot of big name comedians out there now.
Imagine if you did a movie that resonates for a generation and people only recognize you for that one movie. I love how he worked it into his shtick right away😅.
"she's my daughter" had me laughing fr. Tom is a genuinely good stand up comedian who has mastered the art that is comedic timing and deliverance. However... get that man a fan, the sweat HAD ME
His improv and acting skills really get him through those comic "where you from" moments when you lose your place in the act. Dint happen often, but he really was able to get right back into the rhythm. Great job.
The delivery has to be raw and real!.. works better if you're being yourself and not faking it because the people can tell!..cuz its all eyes on you.. I did notice his delivery it's on point. may not be the funniest guy on the planet but he's got the chops because he's got the experience..

Wish I could have seen more of him in Freaks and Geeks, but we all do :)
As a band lifer (taught band for 35 years), Tom’s the one comic who speaks to us! And as the father of twin 17-year old thirst traps, I play his song for them once every couple of months… just to make sure THEY understand their dad’s position on their dates.
I watched this video over a year ago, and thought it was funny, but didn't officially "like" it or leave a comment. I watched it again a week ago, and have had flashbacks of this video, that make me laugh out loud, four days in a row now! The songs starting at 51:56, and the Haiku songs are so silly, that I crack up out loud when I think about them again later! Thanks for the comedy Tom! and thanks for the upload Dorota Gniedziejko!
Singer, painter, actor, cartoon voice, comedian--this is Thomas Wilson. With these talents, they need to make a movie to showcase him for something other than a bully. He has just too much talent; he's too much of an artist. He'd be good in one of those "crazy neighbor" movies where he saves Christmas. He'd make a damn good "Uncle Buck.". P. S. Keep "Thunderbird," by Ray Anthony, in the movie and play it in the Introduction instead of the end.
I think it is totally insane how he actually look the way they made him up to look for the 80s timelines that goes to show the talent of the people who aged those actors

Look for a short clip of Tom working with Gary Busey and the snickers bar. 😂
Nate Bargatze, Dusty Slay, Aaron Webber, Brian Bates…

Try being funny and dirty I Dare you think it’s easy lol
Tom Wilson is an under rated actor. He has such a fun & positive energy.
He was so great in “April Fool’s Day”! He and Deborah Goodrich stole every scene they were in.
I met him at Comic con
Definitely underrated. They should give the guy the lead in a buddy cop show 😁
Don't forget Peewee Herman
My wife and I went and saw him on this tour, and I was so impressed by how clean his show was that I complimented him on it when we met him after the show.
didn't know that Tom Wilson was THIS funny. He mocks institutions, and himself. He can sing, is a great actor, and genuinly funny.

He needs his own sitcom.

Tom played the character "Maniac" in the older PS "Wing Commander" games. Of which Mark Hamill also starred in, as well as Malcolm McDowell.
He's done a lot of things since. But I agree he's very funny and I'm just now finding out how funny.
Tom Rules!
you can see his Biff character come to the surface now and then. Hilarious stuff
After watching this I'm gonna watch Back to the Future for the 103rd time, but this time with a new perspective. Now I'm cheering for Biff.
I finally watched this, Tom Wilson is one person that can hold a persons attention! I had to watch the whole show!
