@@Appleton-WI my mother and dad made the pilgrimage to her Basilica in Mexico many times on her feast day in December. I wish I would have taken the time to go with them one of those times they went. I was busy teaching and raising my family and it just seemed like I couldn't get away. And then all of a sudden your parents meeting my parents are too old to go anymore and I miss that opportunity one of the regrets of my life. My mother brought back a huge poster of our Lady from her visit to Mexico to The Basilica. My uncle is a Franciscan Friar and was stationed in Sterling Virginia and build a church therefore New Parish called Christ the Redeemer. And they have a chapel that's devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe and lo and behold when I visited there was supposed to my mother brought back for him on the wall in the chapel. It brought tears to my eyes because that was something my mother gave to my uncle and it was in a place of honor. Not sure whether my mother ever got to see it hanging on the wall. I've had similar experience with Hirts. I thought they were the worst until I saw this, but I have to give them credit for some kind of magic that happens within a few days of receiving their plants. I haven't lost one yet and they look great! Interesting video, thank you!
Without constructive criticism and opposing voices we will never grow. It's nice that you didn't take the replacement plants and really had the focus on trying to help them improve their shipping progress. Here's to hoping they hear the bigger message!

Ouch! Yeah, I’ve had similar experiences from a couple of places here in the UK. It’s pretty gutting, not sure why someone wouldn’t want to hear the truth! Also, that really DOES look like a prince of orange, think you might be right. Whoops!
I appreciate honest reviews. I wont order till I read the reviews (plants and everything else)! Then if I receive a poor product I may order one more time if I'm not sure but after that wont go near them. I wont slam the seller but will give an honest review and nicely lodge my complaint and expect them to make it right one way or another. If they don't I'll let my friends know to be weary of them. 💚🌿
Love the shirt! I also appreciate your honesty. I feel like you reached out to them several times giving them plenty of chances to correct the problems. In a way I kinda feel like they were giving you the run around instead of addressing the issues. I for one appreciate the honest reviews. I ordered my Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma from Little Prince after your video and the whole experience was amazing! Mistakes can happen but it becomes a problem when it’s a reoccurring thing and the companies are not willing to do anything to fix it. It’s how the companies that work hard to fix issues, are separated from the rest. 💚
I definitely felt blown off and it took weeks to even get to any resolution. Little Prince is FIRE and have the absolute best packing in the plant world IMO. I’m happy to pay an extra $5-$10 for a bigger plant packed with love!
I’m sure you did feel blown off by them. That’s too bad because I know you were a big fan of them in the beginning. Did you ever find out what was up with the whole shipping thing? The whole priority vs 1st class thing? None of that made any sense. I agree about Little Prince. The whole experience was fantastic. Sadly since I bought the RT, I haven’t seen them stock anything besides succulents and air plants. I still check every so often though. I know that’s what they mainly sell, but had hoped as well as the RT’s went, they would start adding different kinds of plants like that.
I definitely agree that the smaller Philo is a Prince of Orange as well. They all look good tho ! Bravo on bringing the little sad guys some happiness 👏🏻😌
I for one appreciate your honesty, an don’t feel so bad for complaining when I get a messed up plant. I’ve heard other plant tubers say, I got this plant an show how messed they are, then say, I don’t want too complain about it, it happens. Sometimes I feel like people have more sympathy for companies than they do for people spending their probably very small amount of disposable money on something they have every right to receive in good condition. Like you said, must be nice to not value money so much! The $50 I spent on that order was a big splurge and thankfully I got it back but not from Joshs! I got it back from USPS! I agree. That looks way more like a "Prince of Orange." "McColley's Finale" has darker green leaves and deeper red new leaves. Especially when they are juvenile. Those definitely have an orange look to them.
I prefer watching people who tell it like it is. I don't like it when people say what other people what to hear just so it doesn't offend them. Let them get offended, I say! Who cares what they think. And thank you! I finally figured out what peperomia I have! It turns out that my mystery pep is a meridiana but it's variegated. I bought it knowing that it's a peperomia but not knowing the variety.

Hi Pam, and thanks for being upfront and honest, I wouldn't want it to be sugar coated, I'm so sorry that this experience was such a bad one, I think that I would have taken the replacement plants and then still talked about the experience you had, now I am leary to order from them, I am afraid I would not be as kind as you were. I am glad to see that the plants are trying their best to recover. I love your Prince of Orange and would love to get one sometime this year, but not until it warms up quite a bit. I did the 10 pack from JF early last fall. 7 plants survived out of 10 and none of them are growing yet still tiny size. I did pot them up a wee bit and found many are plugs so removed that bit of whatever it is strangling the root ball. The two I am really hoping will grow are the moonlight philodendron and the pink leafed syngonium but as you noted on screen these might just be tiny plants for small spaces and not expected to get very big I did end up doing a community pot of 5 of them. Just too hard to keep those tiny tiny pots watered. Looks cute. Probably will not be ordering again. I bought a small monstera adansonii . A two leaf cutting from different seller and it arrived with four leaves not two as add said. Lots of good roots and it sat quietly for a couple months and now it is taking off with 5 to 6 leaves all popping at the same time. Very happy with that order. Was an amazon sale. Great shipping no damage to leaves. and it was like 11 dollars shipped as I remember.
I did a few of their mystery bundles and most of the plants did grow up big and strong! I lost several though, they sent some that very clearly needed a terrarium environment that I was too slow to provide. I do LOVE their mystery pack option, I wish other companies would do that. That’s how I jumped into bulking up my collection and it was fun to try all the new things they sent. Such a shame they’re so sloppy with packing 🤪
@@PamsPrettyPlants Thanks I guess mine was also the mystery bundle too. It is good to know many of the plants grew up big and strong. I guess they are just really slow to get going. I did notice when watering every one yesterday my Peace lily has put up a few new leaves so there is hope. I do not have anything to use for a terrarium. Been keeping an eye out. I do thing putting a few into a community flatter bowl did help some. Thinking to lay some of my moss around the top of the bowl between plants might help add moisture around them. Sheese are we ever done with our house plant care???
i've still gotten some things from JF that have been in good condition. but knowing what your experience was, i try to only order things from them that are more likely to do ok in shipping and/or i don't mind it it comes with more than a couple damaged leaves. and i love seeing updates to previous unboxings!!
It looks like bleach was accidentally sprayed on that otherwise cute velvet leaf syngonium. I've accidentally bleached some tomatoes last year. before I realized that I had the wrong spray bottle. Oops. It was fine. Just some more yellow spots.
Thanks for the update! I don't understand why people were upset that you told us your honest experience. I bought a Levoitt humidifier, which spit water all over my house then died after I did what customer service told me to do. Everyone in the plant community loves that humidifier but if I were reviewing it, it would be based on my experience. That is what reviews are. They are subjective. Thanks to your information in a previous video about filing a claim with the post office after receiving damaged plants, I got my money back. In my instance the post office had literally sent the plant all over the state of NJ before sending to me so they suffered cold damage. I greatly appreciated the information and experiences that you share! That plant definitely look like a Prince of Orange.
Paula your Levoitt experience is why I started looking elsewhere, I’m nervous some of the reviews I watched were from people who got them free and don’t wanna critique! It’s so expensive I want to make sure I’m getting my moneys worth! Thanks for letting me know!

OK coming back to add update to my JF plants comment. I just checked the two I most wanted to grow and both suddenly decided to spring up. Maybe I finally got some thing right. I also had the name wrong on syngonium. It is Syngonium confetti not just pink. sorry my bad. And one more I did not mention before is my tiny Rattle Snake Calathea is showing signs of perking up. So three out of 10 are finally showing more than just life.
The rattlesnake is a slow poke in general! I feel like I’ve had mine for almost a year now and it’s put up maybe 1-2 leaves, so that’s no reflection on you (unless we both stink at them lol). I’m so glad they’re growing! My Phil’s took a LONG time to acclimate and start growing. Like probably 6-7 months!
I think it would be a huge disservice to viewers by NOT giving honest reviews, especially if bad. I always try to find plant-tubers reviews of plant companies before I order. Informed decisions can only be made by honest, fact- driven opinions . I appreciate yours. Thanks for the update Pam! 👍🌿

I ordered a tropical plant bundle from Josh's Frogs and ended up with a fern bundle...I didn't want ferns! I'm not good with them. v.v Fortunately I had a spare fish tank I was able to turn into a vivarium for them. Very stressful.
Wow, I got a Prince of Orange from Josh's Frogs (three actually... and one died) about 6 months ago and it is still TINY. I don't think it'll be anywhere near as big as the one you got from them by the time I've had it for a year. :-/
I’m not sure where you’re located but a lot of that time has been winter here so don’t lose hope yet! Mine seems to really thrive under my LED grow lights.
@@PamsPrettyPlants I am in Idaho. I have LED grow lights set up on my shelving and I do have it right in front of a window as well. It's not dying, just not really doing much at all. I think I got it around June or July 2019. We aren't giving up, but I did find a large PoO that I snagged for pretty cheap, so I at least have one that's big and beautiful like yours. :)
Hi Pam! New subscriber here from the UK :) I love your channel and have been binge watching your vids! I order a lot of plants online (usually from UK sellers) but one company has been so awful I will never buy from them again. They are based in the Netherlands but give the impression they're in the UK. Anyway, long story short I ordered 2 plants which took 12 days to arrive, they were bone dry, soil everywhere and stems damaged. It was in November and they were so cold the Ieaves looked transparent! I took pics and emailed the company and asked why didn't they offer heat packs, why was the soil bone dry and why was the packaging so inadequate? It was a lengthy email and they replied quickly, said they took everything on board and offered a refund or replacement. Chose replacement as, you know, they took my feedback seriously. This was worse, everything was loose in the box, one plant was crushed as the box was damaged. There was nothing to indicate there were live plants inside, so 'fragile' and 'keep upright', that kind of thing was missing. I was stunned and very angry, so I took more pics, emailed them and said whoever is packing these needs retraining immediately! No heat pack was offered either so they were very cold. They apologised again, took what I said on board (yeah right) and would I like a replacement. I opted for a refund. Such a shame as they had a great selection of plants on their website. I do use another online shop from the Netherlands and they are 100% perfect, heat pack for an extra £1.99 and sell terracotta pots that come with my plants without any damage anywhere. Sorry for the ramble but had to share my horrendous experience. I felt so sorry for the poor plants :(
Ugh!! That is so frustrating! Especially if a customer was unhappy, they should be making extra effort to ensure the second order was better. I just don’t understand. It’s not that hard to pack plants! And there’s just so many companies that go above and beyond why on earth do they assume we will keep coming back for punishment?
Hey Pam, you said that is the worst packaging you have ever seen? I guess you haven't ordered from Hirt's. They have the absolute worst packaging ever. They literally just throw the plants in the box and all you can do is pray. I continue to order from them because they are super cheap and fast. The plants do get banged up but they get better with a little care. People have found spiders and bird eggs in their Hirt's packages. I have yet to receive either but I am sure it will happen eventually. I have only ordered from Josh's Frogs once and it was decently packaged. I got my Pink Splash Syngonium and a Calathea Orbofolia. The Pink Splash is still thriving and she is a beauty but the Orbofolia died. I am on the lookout for the Syngonium Rayii from Josh's Frogs as it is the best price that I found, it is still out of stock.
I actually have and it was quite a mess but still not this bad! I have heard and seen some unboxings showing Hirts has improved their packing. Not sure when you ordered but some of those old Hirts unboxing videos are HORRIFYING! 😅 BIRD EGGS!? Ahhhh
And actually I just ordered a Meridiana and it came, I unboxed it and it lost 75% of its leaves while doing so. I sent them pics and they sent me a replacement, but sent the wrong peperomia and bow I'm just over it.
Oh my god 🥴 that is ridiculous and part of why I didn’t bother going to replacements. Like I just wanted to be done with the whole deal. I was like ten emails of explaining the same thing 15 different ways and it just wasn’t worth it. I knew that was a prince of orange! 🙄
Yeah, I've already complained once, and got the wrong replacement a week and half later and trying to be home so it doesnt sit on my porch for hours in MI cold, so whatever. I actually like the peperomia they accidentally sent me better, but that's NOT the point!!
No hate intended! I am so sorry you had a bad experience with Josh's. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I buy more on the pet/vivarium side of things. I literally average 3 shipments a month (feeder insects) and I would recommend them to anyone anytime. I avoid ALL other pet/ insect suppliers. I think plant problems could stem from the size of the plants (like you said) because they are intended for vivariums. Also, I am not sure but they are likely grown under glass and a switch in environment can really be stressful. I know they keep their facility pretty warm. I wouldn't say anything but I hope others know they have lots of happy customers! I don't know, Pam, maybe you should buy a frog! :)
And like I said NO hate intended. I appreciate your honesty! It's just that I have dozens of terrariums/ vivariums filled with Josh's plants and they are beautiful and lush.
No hate detected! I hear you, and I need more pets like a hole in the head 😂😂I have heard nothing but good things about their animal/insect shipping and MANY bad things about their plant shipping. From my convo with Josh and the unhappy people that reached out after my video, it really seems to me that plant sales just aren’t their focus, they don’t really intend for it to be, and that is fine if that’s how they roll. But the low-cost and quick things that they could do to be on par with others really don’t seem hard to me. Plenty of others have far less issues. So I feel like it’s really strange that no effort is really made to improve this. I’m hoping videos and reviews like this make them better because I literally stumped for and promoted them CONSTANTLY for over a year. It just bums me out! But that said I have several good reviews on them on my channel to so I do know they’re capable of better. I think that’s why it makes me so bummed when they don’t meet that expectation they set for me.
@@PamsPrettyPlants you may have plenty of pets, but do you have a FROG? Hahaha! I'm glad to hear you also have had some good experiences and I hope your reviews help with that end. I've never had a problem with their plants but I I take them from the box and put them in an enclosed environment. (In a quarantine terrarium always first.) There are other pet & plant vendors that I would NOT recommend. There is one who literally cuts off a stem, puts it in a zip lock bag and ships it. So compared to that; Josh's excels!
Right, everyone thinks that Logees is God, but I had a very negative experience with them. Companies aren't perfect and it is good to know how a company handles those complaints.
I only buy from my nursery and etsy from shops with lots of positive reviews i dont really trust anyone else anymore im not trying to get scammed from shops like the peoples plants or just get plants that werent taken care of. Although i won a plant from planterina and it came with really good packaging and the plant was nice just havent bought anything from her yet cause shes kinda pricey 🤫
I got the impression PLANTERINA’s stuff would be immaculately packed, potted, and leafed due to the price, so I’m glad that is the case but yeah, I’m too broke for that luxury! I’ve had a ton of great orders from The Plant Farm on Etsy and found out later they had a direct website too. They always pack well.

Also makes my eyes go crazy itching then tearing washing off whatever foundation. I give up. Better put I gave up a long time ago.
Pam's Pretty Plants makes me feel like I put crisco all over my face & I’m suffocating. Also I notice how often I actually touch my face lol I haven’t worn it since wow I don’t remember. I can’t wear nails or keep nail polish on 😂 I guess I’m a sensory drama queen 🤣
@@iddybiddyladybugleeza909 I smooth and buff my nails Just tried polish first time in years. I did not even get one hand done before i was removing it. Back to buffing. In my face I use Hyaluronic acid twice a day. Sounds harsh but it feels so good. Not a skin peeling kind of thing. I make my own up from a powder bought at the Big A. Google RUclips for instructions how to make it. It is simple for us kitchen witches. LOL I also use Argon oil after as soon as the HA dries. Use it on a damp face to begin with. It all feels super greasy but soaks right in and my 70 year old skin is loving both products. I get the Argon oil I think it is Tree Of Life brand Has a tree on the front of bottle. About 60 on Ebay shipped.
I placed an order with Josh's frogs, calathea rattlesnake and scindapsus pictus. Both were super small but I didnt mind given the price, but both are doing well. I think your McColley's finale looks great, it's so cute! The peperomia is just sad. I guess it can be a crap shoot ordering online.
If you order 1-2 plants from Joshs you usually get around the atrocious shipping because it’s so hard to screw that up 😂 I didn’t mind the small plants either, I think they acclimate better to your home when you start them young.
By the way have you got a twin sis that lives Australia and is on TV program called home and a way thay say everyone has a twin somewaire but omg it seems like you have you hidden your light under a bushel xlol

People rely on honest reviews when looking at where to purchase from, I've also had a really bad experience with Josh's Frogs and their customer service was horrible, if I saw your video first I wouldn't have ordered from them and would've saved $200. Not only were my plants poorly packaged (some arrived dead, some didn't arrive at all) but they looked pathetic! Nothing like the advertisement pictures, I felt scammed. I've ordered from Hirts three times now and they have had better plants, packaging, and customer service than Joshs Frogs did, which is bad, considering its Hirts lol

I appreciate honest reviews. I wont order till I read the reviews (plants and everything else)! Then if I receive a poor product I may order one more time if I'm not sure but after that wont go near them. I wont slam the seller but will give an honest review and nicely lodge my complaint and expect them to make it right one way or another. If they don't I'll let my friends know to be weary of them. 💚🌿
Love the shirt! I also appreciate your honesty. I feel like you reached out to them several times giving them plenty of chances to correct the problems. In a way I kinda feel like they were giving you the run around instead of addressing the issues. I for one appreciate the honest reviews. I ordered my Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma from Little Prince after your video and the whole experience was amazing! Mistakes can happen but it becomes a problem when it’s a reoccurring thing and the companies are not willing to do anything to fix it. It’s how the companies that work hard to fix issues, are separated from the rest. 💚
I definitely felt blown off and it took weeks to even get to any resolution. Little Prince is FIRE and have the absolute best packing in the plant world IMO. I’m happy to pay an extra $5-$10 for a bigger plant packed with love!
I’m sure you did feel blown off by them. That’s too bad because I know you were a big fan of them in the beginning. Did you ever find out what was up with the whole shipping thing? The whole priority vs 1st class thing? None of that made any sense. I agree about Little Prince. The whole experience was fantastic. Sadly since I bought the RT, I haven’t seen them stock anything besides succulents and air plants. I still check every so often though. I know that’s what they mainly sell, but had hoped as well as the RT’s went, they would start adding different kinds of plants like that.

Sometimes I feel like people have more sympathy for companies than they do for people spending their probably very small amount of disposable money on something they have every right to receive in good condition. Like you said, must be nice to not value money so much! The $50 I spent on that order was a big splurge and thankfully I got it back but not from Joshs! I got it back from USPS!

I agree. That looks way more like a "Prince of Orange." "McColley's Finale" has darker green leaves and deeper red new leaves. Especially when they are juvenile. Those definitely have an orange look to them.

I did the 10 pack from JF early last fall. 7 plants survived out of 10 and none of them are growing yet still tiny size. I did pot them up a wee bit and found many are plugs so removed that bit of whatever it is strangling the root ball. The two I am really hoping will grow are the moonlight philodendron and the pink leafed syngonium but as you noted on screen these might just be tiny plants for small spaces and not expected to get very big I did end up doing a community pot of 5 of them. Just too hard to keep those tiny tiny pots watered. Looks cute. Probably will not be ordering again. I bought a small monstera adansonii . A two leaf cutting from different seller and it arrived with four leaves not two as add said. Lots of good roots and it sat quietly for a couple months and now it is taking off with 5 to 6 leaves all popping at the same time. Very happy with that order. Was an amazon sale. Great shipping no damage to leaves. and it was like 11 dollars shipped as I remember.
I did a few of their mystery bundles and most of the plants did grow up big and strong! I lost several though, they sent some that very clearly needed a terrarium environment that I was too slow to provide. I do LOVE their mystery pack option, I wish other companies would do that. That’s how I jumped into bulking up my collection and it was fun to try all the new things they sent. Such a shame they’re so sloppy with packing 🤪

I do not have anything to use for a terrarium. Been keeping an eye out. I do thing putting a few into a community flatter bowl did help some. Thinking to lay some of my moss around the top of the bowl between plants might help add moisture around them. Sheese are we ever done with our house plant care???

It looks like bleach was accidentally sprayed on that otherwise cute velvet leaf syngonium. I've accidentally bleached some tomatoes last year. before I realized that I had the wrong spray bottle. Oops. It was fine. Just some more yellow spots.
Thanks for the update! I don't understand why people were upset that you told us your honest experience. I bought a Levoitt humidifier, which spit water all over my house then died after I did what customer service told me to do. Everyone in the plant community loves that humidifier but if I were reviewing it, it would be based on my experience. That is what reviews are. They are subjective.
Thanks to your information in a previous video about filing a claim with the post office after receiving damaged plants, I got my money back. In my instance the post office had literally sent the plant all over the state of NJ before sending to me so they suffered cold damage. I greatly appreciated the information and experiences that you share!

OK coming back to add update to my JF plants comment. I just checked the two I most wanted to grow and both suddenly decided to spring up. Maybe I finally got some thing right. I also had the name wrong on syngonium. It is Syngonium confetti not just pink. sorry my bad. And one more I did not mention before is my tiny Rattle Snake Calathea is showing signs of perking up. So three out of 10 are finally showing more than just life.
The rattlesnake is a slow poke in general! I feel like I’ve had mine for almost a year now and it’s put up maybe 1-2 leaves, so that’s no reflection on you (unless we both stink at them lol). I’m so glad they’re growing! My Phil’s took a LONG time to acclimate and start growing. Like probably 6-7 months!
I think it would be a huge disservice to viewers by NOT giving honest reviews, especially if bad.
I always try to find plant-tubers reviews of plant companies before I order. Informed decisions can only be made by honest, fact- driven opinions .

I ordered a tropical plant bundle from Josh's Frogs and ended up with a fern bundle...I didn't want ferns! I'm not good with them. v.v Fortunately I had a spare fish tank I was able to turn into a vivarium for them. Very stressful.

Wow, I got a Prince of Orange from Josh's Frogs (three actually... and one died) about 6 months ago and it is still TINY. I don't think it'll be anywhere near as big as the one you got from them by the time I've had it for a year. :-/
I’m not sure where you’re located but a lot of that time has been winter here so don’t lose hope yet! Mine seems to really thrive under my LED grow lights.
@@PamsPrettyPlants I am in Idaho. I have LED grow lights set up on my shelving and I do have it right in front of a window as well. It's not dying, just not really doing much at all. I think I got it around June or July 2019.
We aren't giving up, but I did find a large PoO that I snagged for pretty cheap, so I at least have one that's big and beautiful like yours. :)

Hi Pam! New subscriber here from the UK :) I love your channel and have been binge watching your vids! I order a lot of plants online (usually from UK sellers) but one company has been so awful I will never buy from them again. They are based in the Netherlands but give the impression they're in the UK. Anyway, long story short I ordered 2 plants which took 12 days to arrive, they were bone dry, soil everywhere and stems damaged. It was in November and they were so cold the Ieaves looked transparent! I took pics and emailed the company and asked why didn't they offer heat packs, why was the soil bone dry and why was the packaging so inadequate? It was a lengthy email and they replied quickly, said they took everything on board and offered a refund or replacement. Chose replacement as, you know, they took my feedback seriously. This was worse, everything was loose in the box, one plant was crushed as the box was damaged. There was nothing to indicate there were live plants inside, so 'fragile' and 'keep upright', that kind of thing was missing. I was stunned and very angry, so I took more pics, emailed them and said whoever is packing these needs retraining immediately! No heat pack was offered either so they were very cold. They apologised again, took what I said on board (yeah right) and would I like a replacement. I opted for a refund. Such a shame as they had a great selection of plants on their website. I do use another online shop from the Netherlands and they are 100% perfect, heat pack for an extra £1.99 and sell terracotta pots that come with my plants without any damage anywhere. Sorry for the ramble but had to share my horrendous experience. I felt so sorry for the poor plants :(
Ugh!! That is so frustrating! Especially if a customer was unhappy, they should be making extra effort to ensure the second order was better. I just don’t understand. It’s not that hard to pack plants!
And there’s just so many companies that go above and beyond why on earth do they assume we will keep coming back for punishment?

Hey Pam, you said that is the worst packaging you have ever seen? I guess you haven't ordered from Hirt's. They have the absolute worst packaging ever. They literally just throw the plants in the box and all you can do is pray. I continue to order from them because they are super cheap and fast. The plants do get banged up but they get better with a little care. People have found spiders and bird eggs in their Hirt's packages. I have yet to receive either but I am sure it will happen eventually. I have only ordered from Josh's Frogs once and it was decently packaged. I got my Pink Splash Syngonium and a Calathea Orbofolia. The Pink Splash is still thriving and she is a beauty but the Orbofolia died. I am on the lookout for the Syngonium Rayii from Josh's Frogs as it is the best price that I found, it is still out of stock.
I actually have and it was quite a mess but still not this bad! I have heard and seen some unboxings showing Hirts has improved their packing. Not sure when you ordered but some of those old Hirts unboxing videos are HORRIFYING! 😅 BIRD EGGS!? Ahhhh

I have a Mccolley's Finale and a Prince of Orange. That IS an Orange. Mccolley's Finale grows in RED and faded, not orange. You are right
And actually I just ordered a Meridiana and it came, I unboxed it and it lost 75% of its leaves while doing so. I sent them pics and they sent me a replacement, but sent the wrong peperomia and bow I'm just over it.
Oh my god 🥴 that is ridiculous and part of why I didn’t bother going to replacements. Like I just wanted to be done with the whole deal. I was like ten emails of explaining the same thing 15 different ways and it just wasn’t worth it. I knew that was a prince of orange! 🙄
Yeah, I've already complained once, and got the wrong replacement a week and half later and trying to be home so it doesnt sit on my porch for hours in MI cold, so whatever. I actually like the peperomia they accidentally sent me better, but that's NOT the point!!

No hate intended! I am so sorry you had a bad experience with Josh's. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I buy more on the pet/vivarium side of things. I literally average 3 shipments a month (feeder insects) and I would recommend them to anyone anytime. I avoid ALL other pet/ insect suppliers. I think plant problems could stem from the size of the plants (like you said) because they are intended for vivariums. Also, I am not sure but they are likely grown under glass and a switch in environment can really be stressful. I know they keep their facility pretty warm. I wouldn't say anything but I hope others know they have lots of happy customers! I don't know, Pam, maybe you should buy a frog! :)
And like I said NO hate intended. I appreciate your honesty! It's just that I have dozens of terrariums/ vivariums filled with Josh's plants and they are beautiful and lush.
No hate detected! I hear you, and I need more pets like a hole in the head 😂😂I have heard nothing but good things about their animal/insect shipping and MANY bad things about their plant shipping. From my convo with Josh and the unhappy people that reached out after my video, it really seems to me that plant sales just aren’t their focus, they don’t really intend for it to be, and that is fine if that’s how they roll.
But the low-cost and quick things that they could do to be on par with others really don’t seem hard to me. Plenty of others have far less issues. So I feel like it’s really strange that no effort is really made to improve this. I’m hoping videos and reviews like this make them better because I literally stumped for and promoted them CONSTANTLY for over a year. It just bums me out!
But that said I have several good reviews on them on my channel to so I do know they’re capable of better. I think that’s why it makes me so bummed when they don’t meet that expectation they set for me.

I've never had a problem with their plants but I I take them from the box and put them in an enclosed environment. (In a quarantine terrarium always first.) There are other pet & plant vendors that I would NOT recommend. There is one who literally cuts off a stem, puts it in a zip lock bag and ships it. So compared to that; Josh's excels!

I only buy from my nursery and etsy from shops with lots of positive reviews i dont really trust anyone else anymore im not trying to get scammed from shops like the peoples plants or just get plants that werent taken care of. Although i won a plant from planterina and it came with really good packaging and the plant was nice just havent bought anything from her yet cause shes kinda pricey 🤫
I got the impression PLANTERINA’s stuff would be immaculately packed, potted, and leafed due to the price, so I’m glad that is the case but yeah, I’m too broke for that luxury! I’ve had a ton of great orders from The Plant Farm on Etsy and found out later they had a direct website too. They always pack well.

In my face I use Hyaluronic acid twice a day. Sounds harsh but it feels so good. Not a skin peeling kind of thing. I make my own up from a powder bought at the Big A. Google RUclips for instructions how to make it. It is simple for us kitchen witches. LOL I also use Argon oil after as soon as the HA dries. Use it on a damp face to begin with. It all feels super greasy but soaks right in and my 70 year old skin is loving both products. I get the Argon oil I think it is Tree Of Life brand Has a tree on the front of bottle. About 60 on Ebay shipped.

I placed an order with Josh's frogs, calathea rattlesnake and scindapsus pictus. Both were super small but I didnt mind given the price, but both are doing well. I think your McColley's finale looks great, it's so cute! The peperomia is just sad. I guess it can be a crap shoot ordering online.
If you order 1-2 plants from Joshs you usually get around the atrocious shipping because it’s so hard to screw that up 😂
I didn’t mind the small plants either, I think they acclimate better to your home when you start them young.
By the way have you got a twin sis that lives Australia and is on TV program called home and a way thay say everyone has a twin somewaire but omg it seems like you have you hidden your light under a bushel xlol

People rely on honest reviews when looking at where to purchase from, I've also had a really bad experience with Josh's Frogs and their customer service was horrible, if I saw your video first I wouldn't have ordered from them and would've saved $200.
Not only were my plants poorly packaged (some arrived dead, some didn't arrive at all) but they looked pathetic! Nothing like the advertisement pictures, I felt scammed.
I've ordered from Hirts three times now and they have had better plants, packaging, and customer service than Joshs Frogs did, which is bad, considering its Hirts lol
Idk if Hirts has changed up their stuff but all my orders from them have been amazing and even the customer service was great when they sent me a wrong plant.

Well, you know, you're not meant to be a "Josh's Frog's" cheerleader & to "push" his company. You're not reaping any benefits from people who go there & purchase plants from coming to watch your vids, right?! Now if they were throwing you some kind of kickback from every plant purchased from ppl that came there directly from your vids, then maybe I could see you just saying awesome shit about them no matter what they sent you, but we all know that honestly, you just ain't that person girl!!! Lol!!😂😂😂 You're too honest for that & a better human for it. If ppl want a RUclipsr who says nice things about a company, no matter what, after spending their money & they've been sent shitty packed plants time after time, frankly, I wouldn't want them as a subscriber anyway.
