      Maybe you do it too fast. I watched it multiple times and still do not get it. The thing that does not seem to add up is that after the whole film is rolled down the protective film ends up on the outside and the film on the window. How is not the protective liner between the uv film and the window?!

      After watching it 8 times I think I finally got it. Maybe you could go slower especially the part once you put it on the glass to show what is actually going on 😆
      The question that I still have left is how can you roll it down on a window that does not have soapy water on and fall perfectly in place? I thought you need to have water to be able to adjust it.
      You are obviously a pro in this job.

      @@CrisIsOnYT thank you for the kind words! Yes it’s important for you to spray down the entire glass panel or rather you can tac your top portion and then slowly rol down your film to just before the last wet portion then reapply solution and continue. Hope that helps

    Thank you for this video. Our windows have screws that "bump" the edges of the glass and also some have the silicone edge that is on the interior part of the window. Any tips to get a clean line without cutting into the silicone? Also, to clarify, it rolls from the inside facing the glass, right? I ordered the film on amazon but both sides look the same?

      Hey brother. Thanks for the vid. I went to window tinting school but have been focusing on RV’s since I’m a full time RVer and at Rv resorts non stop. I’m handcutting each window but never used that flat tool. Do you by chance have a link?
      Secondly. I see you cut it after you apply the tint. I’ve been putting on my tint after I cut it basically the same way I would do a car. Would you apply the tint to rv windows your way or mine? Though after rewatching it , it looks like your film is not on the sticky side. Maybe residential film is different then automotive.
      I appreciate any help. Thanks!

    I've done cheaper tinting from Amazon. I actually did one job and it turned out ok. I'd like to get into it professionally however I'm having a hard time figuring out where to source a good product from. Any recommendations?

      sometimes it’s a combination of water and dawn, dish soap, or especially solution such a slip and Stick. Do you need some sort of solution that allows the film to slip so you can align it

    How do you get your measurements for the square foot

    • @rcwindowfilms
      @rcwindowfilms  Год назад +3

      To convert inches to square feet, divide the total number of square inches by 144 (1 square foot = 12 inches x 12 inches = 144 square inches).
      Example: If you measure a door that’s 27 in x 70 in. Multiply the width by height gives you 1890 and then divide that by 144. That will equal 13.125 sq ft

    • @rcwindowfilms
      @rcwindowfilms  Год назад +3

      To convert inches to square feet, divide the total number of square inches by 144 (since there are 144 square inches in 1 square foot).
      Example: If you have a rectangle that measures 30 inches by 40 inches, the total square inches would be 30 x 40 = 1200. To convert this to square feet, divide 1200 by 144: 1200 ÷ 144 = 8.33 sq ft.
