This by far the best tutorial ever, showing all possibilities and all stages of valve replacement for the Electrolux EWF 1074 washing machine. 10/10 rating from me.
Thanks for your video. I wouldn't have known how to replace a solenoid pump. However, it took me ages to pop the pump out. But eventually, I got it. Ran the machine through a cycle no e10. And importantly, on puddle s of water.
Life saver! I have a Electrolux which is exactly the same as this model. Couldn’t work out how to unclip the the valve from the plastic housing!!! Thanks for posting!
Is it possible to rework top loading washing machine to work somewhere in the remote woodcabin house.... of farm, homestead or weekend house, that is without a proper hot water or could water pressurized system, ... ...but * to load hot , could or warm water simply by bucket ,... and still be able to run a machine somehow ??? Simpson Sprite 650 - top loader washingmzchine .
It would be fairly hard. Inlet valves require high pressure to operate. Some older machines use to have low pressure valves but all manufacturers have stopped making them about 20-30 years ago. Even if you do find a low pressure solenoid that fits, there could be a compatibility problem with the control board, the different type of solenoid might blow the main PCB if it has different electrical specs.
Hey mate . I still have a issue . Replaced the inlet valve ( had low water pressure) but the water is still only trickling in. I’ve checked all filters , drains , and outlets . Also even checked the voltage at the solenoid. All good . Any ideas
Hey, If you unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the valve and turn on the tap. Does the water flow fast and hard? Some inlet hoses have a screen mesh filter that gets blocked with sand at the start of the hose where it screws onto the tap. Or it could be the tap it self that doesn’t open properly.

Thank you for posting this video. I got my washing machine working after a few minutes of tinkering.

Thanks for posting that. Had to replace the inlet valve, and it was just possible because of your video.
I couldn't even get the little filter out
Thank you for the video
Hi! Is this the same concept for a top loader? And where do I buy replacement parts? Can you guess what error I had yesterday? Haha
How do you take the panels off to access the hoses

Mine is a top loader sez e10 but a load of water just poored out of it
Check that the pressure tube is still connected
