Thanks KB! I went to the farm a couple weeks back - didn't get much of a chance to look around but I think its worth checking out when the weather gets a bit nicer.
Robbie, great shots! I too have been to Revere Beach in the off season and can attest to how lovely the area is for photography. The lens on that GW690, eh? Gorgeous!
@@RobbieMaynardCreates I was there several years ago with my Nikon D700, 17-35mm f/2.8D and 70-200mm f/4G. Now however, I'd love to go back with my M645 and Yashica D.
@@RobbieMaynardCreates One of the reasons I sold that camera was because I like shooting pretty much exclusively handheld unless I’m doing self portraits and I found it extremely difficult to get the focus I wanted hand held but I guess I could use more practice
@@davidrothschild8913 I feel that even moreso with the GSW because its max aperture is f5.6 and I shoot Ektar 100.. Im using almost everything on a tripod but with that wide angle lens, I get way more in focus
The GW690 is an overall outstanding walk-around camera for road trips. I added a GW690 iii to the toolbox two weeks ago and it's been crap weather here in Pennsylvania since then so I'll be putting a few rolls through this weekend. I just got my Fuji GFX50S ii today so I'm going to have to split my time but it will be interesting to compare the images I get out of both for color rendition, sharpness and a few other factors. I'm hoping for big things from both cameras but plan to use them in mostly different circumstances. I predict you won't be without a GW690 for too long.
Wow, you made some real nice purchases! Both are great cameras. Also, your prediction was spot on. Just got the GSW690III in the mail, now time to shoot :)
All the photos are great but that barn, bro I fell in love with that photo 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you my dude! I was loving that scene. Ill have to send you the photo
@@RobbieMaynardCreates Robbie if you really mean what you wrote I would be grateful and honored 🙂
Love that first shot. Awesome colors.
Thanks buddy!

Nice video Robbie love the power line shot keep it up 👍
Thanks bud!
Nice work, Robbie. Just love the old, ruins. KB

@@RobbieMaynardCreates Glad you found it interesting. KB
I bought a Gw690 II because of your vids its so good!!!
haha thank you so much! I hope you're enjoying it
Great one as always
Much appreciated my dude
Man, I love your haircut
Haha bro, my hair grows so quick. Its already grown out
@@RobbieMaynardCreates this should be your signature haircut
I have the GW680 and keeping it as its my only medium format camera that i don't use too often. Mostly shoot 35mm or digital.
Its good to have one of every format. I bet that GW takes stellar images
Loving the vlog brother. I have the GW690 mk ii but only shoot b&w, this makes me want to try some colour!
The lens can really work wonders with color. Its that contrast that suits both BW and Color :)
Establishing that connection with people/places I’m photographing is something I wanna work on this year no more awkwardness lol
Hell yeah, Cam! Get out there and just do it :)
The image quality you get from that GW690 is just mind blowing. You love to own one! Well done man 👏
Thank you so much!
Quick video, but what a stellar set of images! Really admire them
Thank you David! Trying to make something bi-weekly for you all :)

haha cant beat it! Unless of course, the 65mm on the GSW is slightly sharper :)

The camper photo was really vivid. Basically that camera feels like large format. Did you only shoot on the tripod?
Most of the twilight shits I did but the early morning stuff was handheld.

Robbie do you generally go out alone? I don't care for shooting alone. Wish my wife enjoyed photography.
I almost always shoot alone. Sometimes my Wife will join me but I prefer to shoot in the very early morning hours.
@@RobbieMaynardCreates if you ever get up to New Hampshire let me know, I'd like to join you. 👍
