Have the exact some bike and was thinking about modding my bike also. I'm a bigger rider at 300 so thinking about upgrading the brakes and when I start doing trails getting the suspension replaced. Already swapped the pedals, grips and seats.
I bought one just like yours a few weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I've been road cycling for about 8 years or so, but I decided to give mtb a try...so far so good. Nice bike and nice mods.
@laurencegoff2976 I agree with you and I found a take of sram 1x12 sx cassette and a gx derailleur at my local bike shop. If you go with a sx cassette you don’t have to replace the rear wheel and it works with GX parts.
@@laurencegoff2976 same here, but there are lot of good videos on RUclips to help. I am waiting on the Cane Creek Hellbender 70 BSA to come in and then I will have a video for that.
@@BareBackBroncos I have a ozark trail ridge so far I’ve gotten a pnw ranger v3 stem a pnw loam carbon handle bar shimano mt200 hydraulic brakes bontrager sport seat full sram gx groupset with bottom bracket that’s it so far gonna get a new fork too
The risers and 8• steam helped me be more comfortable on the bike. I recommend putting some miles on and see what you want to change. I wanted to be more up right and not so far forward. I know on the trail I will have different results, but I primarily ride on the road.
The Roscoe was out of the range for me as well. I figured I could build mine close enough to a Roscoe and for what I need it’s a good bike and I really enjoy it. Keep me posted on your upgrades! Congrats on the new bike.

I am looking at brakes as well. What system are you looking at?

@@jimibennett82 Thank you and congratulations on the new bike!
how are you getting on with the gear speed? Im thinking of getting one but worried the 1x9 wont be high enough when cycling on the road (vs gen 2 2x8)

Good idea, was thinking of changing it. Just never worked on gears before so will be all new

Trek has really nice paint jobs I changed everything on mine but started with a cheap bike since I was changing everything anyways
What do you have? What are some of the mods you did? Thank you for watching.

I just picked mine up today! I wanted to get a Roscoe, but it was out of my price range. I’m very interested in doing some upgrades in the future!

The new forks shipped today. Then I’m going to work on upgrades to brakes to a 180mm system. The 160mm on it now seems weak at times.

Thanks you should see it next to the Mek Magnet on the Bronco!

DO YOU ALREADY UPGRADE THE DROPER POST?
Not yet I have a sram crank set and 1x12 conversion sitting on the shop bench and then I’m going to do a drop post next.
Man, I just got rid of my EV bike. I never rode it. I broke my toe last year and it kept me off of it. I guess I lost the love. Sick bike tho!
I can see that happening, having something of that value is hard to let sit unused in the garage.
