Oh so this set up is on 3.5 not 3 setpoint, that's good to know. I know you mentioned at one point that it was 3, so not sure if u misstyped. I like this setup a lot and your front bumper is amazing. The big space between the wheel and fender makes it look that much better, I don't really like the snug fit, so your setup is a true offroader look. Those Geolander MTs look great and do well on rainy roads which is great for an MT. I was thinking about doing the Falken Wildpeak RTs 38x13.50r17 with this lift but I heard a few owners say they Hydroplane a lot for an RT tire, but I do like that their 38 is a true 37 and would probably fit with this lift at 0mm offset even at 13.50 width as long as you do the JKS clearance kit. Thanks for making the video man this is a very smart build, and thanks for confirming the preset is at 3.5 this way I know what to go with.
You’re welcome, Falcon calls it a 3.3, I think thats the diameter of the tube for the shocks and reservoirs but it’s a 3.5” preset lift.
My buddy has the Falken Wildpeak RT on his Porsche 958 and he loves them.
@@BareBackBroncos understand, I need a better shock. I went offroading today to Bald Mountain here in VA and I hit something under this water puddle so hard I literally thought I broke my axle, it was loud lol. Luckily, everything was fine, but def a few times I scraped and smashed just didn't give a shit had a lot of fun lol. Whole damb csr is dirty.
@@ndm8447 I had that happen with the 4wp parts suspension it would bottom out all the time and thats why I took them off.
@BareBackBroncos yes that must have been the shock bottom then, but man, I'm telling you it was so loud I was genuinely scared. I need something beefy and these 3.3 look very good especially for the money. One thing I was worried about is using trail assist to turn in tight spots going up this mountain that had all these sharp rocks at 20 PSI, I was afraid I could debead the tire. It was really tight in some spaces and def had pin stripes the entire 10 miles of trail. I just had to close my eyes and go lol.
I run those tires with Jks high clearance kit and 1.50 spacers on Eibach pro coilovers. Those tires are amazing traction in moab. But... After a week of trails they tore chunks out of my treads. Dt is offering me $350 per tire to warranty them out. I don't see how people are getting 50-60k out of them. I only have 3k on mine and they are wearing and chunking quickly.
@@Travisj9935 Interesting, my buddy got 50k out of his @trailhunterusa and he trails his a lot.
Those are gonna look sweet on a 250
I’m almost considering the new Scout instead.
With that system, you could also run a 38” Nitto Recon hybrid tire like Jody’s if you so choose a little more street-ability. But, great overview my dude!
That’s a good suggestion if I plan to go to 38s later. I have plenty of room to add a bigger tire.
Didn’t in my room❤

Love the setup man you did a great job. If you get a chance do a quick video showing the look of your Bronco with that tire setup from different angles. I am thinking about doing something similar but want to do 3.5 insteadof 3 just worried it may be odd looking but in general I love a lot of space between the wheel well and the tire. If you ever adjust to 3.5 please take pics and share would love to see how much difference that half inch makes in the looks departament.
Let me see what I can do and I’ll tag you in the video.
@@BareBackBroncos you are the man sir
Great review my dude!!! Interesting option for sure
Thanks!
You mentioned that you set the lift at 3 inches despite the lift allowing for 3.5. I am personally interested in going maximum at 3.5, what is the main reason why you went with 3.0. Have you tried 3.5 and can this be readjusted easily so if you don't like it you can change it quickly?

@@OffROADFanADDICT I bought a bike rack attachment for it to so, I can bring my mountain bike camping with me.
With the amber ring on the headlights, these tie the front end all together nicely! well done! 🤘
@@OffROADFanADDICT Thank you, I agree and gives it a nice appearance. The ambers are bright and it will be nice when setting up camp at night to have a little extra soft glow of light.
I know these are not SAE compliant but in low mode and amber I wonder if you could use them on the road in a snow storm. I’m in Colorado.
@@truthbike Depends how high you have them pointed up. The side lights are intense I think you would blind any next to you.

Isn't this kit missing something, I see it has those straight lower control arms but most other kits have another straight set, not sure what it is for but this kit doesn't have it. If you compare to icon stage 7 you will see what I mean.
@@ndm8447 you are referring to the upper rear links and this kit only comes with the lower links.
@BareBackBroncos oh I see, why tha hell didn't they include those?
@@ndm8447 Not sure? Guess they figure most people don’t bend those.
@BareBackBroncos I really like this lift kit and have been considering it; however, I want true 37s like the Toyo Open Country MTs and I want them to be 13.5 width instead of the 12.5 with 0mm offset but not sure if thos will rub. I am also looking at the Icon Stage 7 and I like that one as well, especially because they also have an Icon Tierods that come with it but the price is a little steep.
@@ndm8447 I have 37s Geolanders MTs on 17x0 FXH wheels no rubbing 12.50 the back spacing is 4.75 I can go full lock.
Good looking tent!!! Great review bro!!!
Thank you
Thanks, I’ve been on the fence concerning RTT’s but at this price it might be worth a try. Can you tell me about wind noise with that roof rack without the RTT and with the RTT attached? I’ve never seen an RCI roof rack before. Looks interesting versus the typical TrailRax. Lastly, that Turn spare tire brace…like it?
@@truthbike The RCI has a good wind deflector and the wind noise is not that noticeable. The tent on top doesn’t make much of a difference on sound. You can always adjust if front to back if you hear wind.
@@truthbike Here is a video I did when I installed the rack. ruclips.net/video/FnvdMuAU9_I/видео.htmlsi=sQOaBkA41Qo7ofmq

@@mo_bronco Thank you!

@@Crespofutbol No, during start ups it’s a bit louder until it warms up. Depending on what fan speed you have it on and temp it will cycle up some in sound. I have been at camp with 3-4 guys running heaters and it’s not bad. You will hear some sound though.

That’s great ! Always fun to involve the kids. I’m sure they loved it.
Thanks for the video. How are you securing the Vault cases onto the roof rack?
@@Buwtz Hi, I only stay them down when I need to use them. I don’t leave them on there. If I was to leave them on there I would use m4 button head bolts and slide them in the rails and then drill holes in the boxes and then use rubber and metal washers with lock nuts on the inside of the box.
Thanks for the install tips. I’m close to installing this tailgate system but I could not tell from the video how the crease in the tailgate happened….was it the old one you had on or related to installing the turn offroad one?

Hey Bareback great video man!! This is by far the BEST and most useful video so far on these shocks. I've been mulling them over but haven't had enough data to make any decisions. You have pushed me closer to purchasing these with your feedback. I'm looking for a soft ride on the road because I think the stock Sasquatch bilsteins are the worst shock absorbers I've ever owned. They will beat your ass up over the small stuff and I have my 37's aired down to 27 PSI to help manage. Seems like you get a soft enough ride on the setting you have but the ability to go even softer if you wanted to which is good. I like to be able to play with the settings to optimize. I have a Badlands Sasquatch so I havr the swaybars already, with your information seems I might be able to go a little softer than what you're running. I can't wait to see how it performs on the trails and looking forward to your future videos. Thank you sir!
