Ik it’s been in a while since you’ve had a comment but this is super cool and I’m gonna try this- I’ve been wanting to make madalorian armor for a while but didn’t want to 3D print or use foam (too complicated for me and needs other tools) so this uses easy materials and your tutorial is really clear thank so much!
I’m really wanting this for the predator. Your videos have been so helpful, and they’ll the best if they can singlehandedly get me a car board predator armor set.
Glad I could help Sharififard! Well unfortunately there is no much of an armor to make for the predator... I could make the other wrist gauntlet and the canon and some weapons too, but that's about it.

Another problem i have, is that my printer uses regular paper the size of notebook paper, but sometimes it isn’t the right size! Is there anything i can do?
To make the surface of it as smooth as possible you need to use a very thin cardboard and the you need to sand down it with sand paper, have you done that? About the patterns, there is a text file named "READ ME" in the folders you've downloaded that explains how to print them, don't hesitate to have a look on it, it's important for you to get them at the right size! ;)

As for the thin cardboard, I didn’t want to waste, and i reused the paper scraps from the templates, but I’m fully willing to make a second helmet to make it better!

I would just scale down the templates a lot, like to a 30 or 35% I think it should be enough, but it is difficult to tell for sure! Maybe try to scale a few templates from the chest piece and print them out, with those templates in hands you should be able to see if the scale you have will suit your 4 year old... :)

Well cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately... so you have to be aware that painting it is gonna make all the imperfections much more visible, (That's the reason why I don't paint them), that being said I'm quite demanding with my props, maybe too much lol. I don't know about silver paint specifically but if you want to paint it I recommend you to use acrylic paint as it is a thick and opaque type of paint as opposed to water based paint that will soak the cardboard leading to very poor result 😉

Thanks! I think you definitely can, but you'll have to adapt a few steps along the way of course as not everything I show in this tutorial will work the same way using foam.... but if you're used to work with foam it shouldn't be a problem ;)
I am 5'1" (61 inches or 155cm) is there a way to scale the templates to my size? Looking so forward to making this!!! Thank you so much for your channel!
The templates are in life size, so if you want to make it smaller or bigger you basically just have to print them at a lower or higher percentage. At 100% they fit me well and I'm 176cm tall, but feel free to scale them down a bit if you need too ;) like at 95% or less if needed.
This is fantastic!!! Just purchased the templates and plan on making these with my 7 year old as he wants to be Mando for Halloween. Do you think when I'm printing it I could scale it down 75% or so for it to then fit a small boy?
Oh that's really cool! :) of course you can scale down the templates, actually this capability is one of the reason why I make the templates that way ;) but if you want to make a perfect fit for your son you just have to do what I explain in the text folder named "READ ME" that you got with the templates for the helmet. Basically you have to divide the circumference of your head son (above the eyes) by mine which is 23 inches, that's gonna give you a decimal number like 0,86 for instance, and that is the percentage you have to print the templates out from your computer to make it a perfect fit for your head son, in this example you would have to print them out at 86% of the original size 😉 Then apply the same percentage you ended up with for the helmet for the rest of the armor! So that everything is proportionally correct ;)

The slave 1 is a tricky one to make Nathintual, it may take time to make it, IF I decide to make it eventually.

I don't think the chin guards are part of the armor on Mando, they're made from regular material not beskar, that's why I didn't include them as these tutorials was about the armor only.
