Yes! I’ll never understand Nick, and Kevin saying they don’t like it! I’ve never had an experience where Chick Fil A was dry, or the fries soggy! Maybe they’re drive back is really far so the food is sitting in the bag getting that way, or their Chick Fil A location is just bad? 🤷🏻♂️
Can someone check on Greg? The amount of psychological torture Gary inflicted as he dismantled him throughout this episode was borderline criminal.
I'm guessing Gary breezed into the studio five minutes before they started and breezed back out immediately when they cut. Meanwhile Greg is still sitting in a corner silently weeping and questioning his life choices.
He should question his life with those claims he made about del taco.

Chickfila would definitely be number 1 if this list was created in the south. Not because of Political reasons, it just simply tastes amazing and the employees are polite. You always leave smiling whether you're getting it to-go or not.

I literally took a step back at 45:10 when Johny Ace mentioned my hometown of Missoula, Montana and indeed other than bars, it is the only thing open at 2 AM, now I live near downtown Seattle and can have that good ‘ol Jimmy Johns whenever the hell I want, btw what was nick doing there? Visiting Hank Green by chance or just freezing your butts of for fun? 😄 Also, funny story when I got to meet Greg and Jared at PAX west this last fall, no shit I literally ate there before I went to the convention center 😂

Amazed that Chipotle didn't make the list. Thought for sure there would be 3 out of 5 "Mexican" restaurants.
Oh, if Kinda Funny is coming to Boston for PAX East, you should definitely check out Tasty Burger. All of the food is made to order (I'd recommend the Gorgonzola burger (bacon & blue), or the Rise 'n Shine (fried egg, American cheese, bacon, and ketchup on the patty). The additionally offer fountain drinks, drinks from the fridge, beer, and Worcester-made Table Talk pies.
LOL, I can see a little old lady watching Gary react to fries being prepared and say "I'll have what he's having.".

It's been said before, but i'll say it again: Gary is a fucking treasure. I'm so glad he's becoming more of a regular on KF.
Arby's has higher quality food than you think. The Loaded Italian sandwich and gyro's are great, the slider sandwiches, and the curly fries are great (I like them with Arby's sauce).
Is there a way we could make Gary the champ? Give it to the man that deserves it but doesn't even care.

Lemme tell ya something brother! I worked at Arby's for over 4 years in my youth. I've probably eaten over a thousand Chicken Bacon Swiss and Corn Beef Reuben sandwiches and I'll never get tired of either. Sometimes I mix it up with a Turkey and Swiss. Not only that, they got shakes and curly fries. The "Arby's is gross" meme is perpetuated by people who've never tasted Arby's or had a plain ass roast beef sandwich and didn't bother to put that sweet sweet Arby's sauce on it.
The best one yet.

Imo Ace should be as objective as possible. The arguments should be the primary reason for making the top 5. The Ace's opinion/bias should be secondary, only in play when Ace is having a hard time deciding.

Fast food in California must be absolutely God awful. There are many egregious things said in this episode but the “soggy waffle fries” from Chick Fil A must be from lack of compassion. No matter what you think of the beliefs of the higher ups, they higher the highest tier of fast food talent, therefore Cali just doesn’t compete so these arguments are null and void.
Also, cool ranch Doritos suck
It not that fast food in California is awful, it that they live in San Francisco which doesn’t have as many fast food places as compared to LA!
