Thank you for sharing all your goodies, Mandy! I tried Prequel's Vit. C., and I didn't love it. Most likely because I prefer an oil-based Vit C. like Truth Treatments. Unfortunately, after seeing Ben's viral video on sunscreen, I'm not sure I can support the brand any longer. I may try Allies 35%. I took UVMune to Jamaica last year, and it was a game changer. Ten days of guilt-free time in the sun, and I came home the same color as I had left with no hyperpigmentation. Cannot recommend LRP's face and body products highly enough.
Oh my...I saw that video and disappointed is an understatement! I get that he was trying to say he only believes in physical filters, but the way it was presented was misinformative , confusing and full of fearmongering in my opinion. So glad to hear about UVMune in tropical climates. I am headed to St. Thomas in April, and it will likely be all I take.
Ergothioneine is a Super antioxidant that can also support several health issues as we age. My company just completed the first human clinical of its kind on Ergothioneine: it was submitted to ASN for publication. It also has several skin benefits aiding in UV rays and anti aging. It is absorbed better than CoQ10. It is used in skincare products but not talked much about. FYI certain species of mushrooms have the highest concentrations of Ergothioneine.
Always like to see what you have discovered in skincare. I'm a big fan of Prequel and use the cleanser, spray and ointment. I've been using Naturium Azelaic Acid Emulsion for about 6 months and my skin really likes it. I'm going to give the La Rouche Posay sunscreen a shot but in the hydrating version. Thank you!
I haven't filmed it yet. I need to. I just started my second round after my break. The main difference I could see from the pics, was surprisingly, my eyes. They looked more lifted and less wrinkly. I was very happy!
I’m going to have to try the acne cream! I have never had acne in my life and lately have been struggling with hormonal acne on my chin as well. It’s driving me insane as it leaves behind the post-inflammatory marks that linger for months. My derm prescribed Dapsone gel and it has helped, but not as much as I’d like, lol.
Yeap! My Post Inflammatory Erythema is out of control.....and I have never had an issue with it until about 3 months ago. Very frustrating, but this cream really does help. xoxo

I use the ointment under my eyes to "slug" my eye cream. It has made a huge difference in how hydrated my eyes stay consistently. I hope you love your SPFs! I am wearing the tinted one today.
I will try anything to hide tear trough and darkness. I trust your skincare suggestions. I received the drmtlgy corrector today. I really like it for that area. Trying to find less $ but effective skin care. I have allies of skin before. Last night i tried the Dr. Gross retinol pro % peel pad. Aftet drying put on night time serums etc. Definitely adding that to my routine. Wow! My skin was great this morning.

I have tried the TNS serum. I went through a few bottles of it years ago. It was good at the time, but when I found Neogensis, I didn't look back. If I am comparing it to the Allies of Skin, I think I like the Allies better. Sorry you didn't have a good time with the La Roche. I am using the tinted one today and I didn't have any pilling (and haven't in the past), but I know everyone is different.
You have just made me feel so much better about myself. 😊. That’s what I’ve done for years. I used neutrogena moisturizer rapid wrinkle repair that has spf30 with their retinol formula. It’s a drug store brand but in my 30s my dermatologist (also a friend from college) told me that it works and was a great value. This is only one that does over dry my face. So after washing face in the morning (withCerve hydrating face). I just use my neutrogena rapid wrinkle spf30. Then Eye cream with caffeine. Then I apply Thrive brand creaseless concealer around eyes( it is truly worth trying very similar to Jane but thinner slightly than Jane’s new concealer). Then my old stand by JI pure pressed base. I keep Jane PPB in my purse also-I haven’t found better for me as of yet. Finally I Use mainly a mix of Jane iredale, Glo and thrive brands for bronzer , blush,eyes and lips. For special occasion I add Jane tinted serum prior to PPb but this is not often. I’m so sorry if this is TMI. I do get excited about sharing what really works for my skincare and trying different products that others love. Love your channel. You have a wonderful kind spirit. I want to try a growth serum so badly. One day I will bite the bullet and give it a go! Have you ever tried anything by Timeless Skin Care? If I missed you covering it in a video I’m sorry. I’ve been using their vitamin c and B5 serum and I’m pleasantly surprised with the results. For the moment Ive replaced my osmosis rescue serum with the Timeless B5 and so far I’m happy with the results! I have tried the La roche posay sunscreen you mentioned, but on my skin it would pull horribly no matter how long I would wait in between skincare steps to make sure everything was absorbed.
I tried their Vitamin C ages ago and didn't love it, so it didn't make me want to try more. I know they have a huge fan base though. I just ran out of my latest rescue without a backup and my skin really misses it. I need to check out the B5. So sorry about the pilling. I paid close attention this morning ( I am wearing the tinted one) and I didn't have any pilling. It may not work with specific moisturizers maybe?

They are just so good, and they often run amazing sales. I am hoping they do one of their buy one get one sales soon. That's a great time to save a ton of $$ and stock up.
Looking to pick up some of these products. I know this wasn't mentioned in this video, but I wanted to get your opinion on Jane iredale tinted moisturizer since I know you're a big user of her products. I currently have the liquid minerals and love. Just wondering if I should try something new or order the tinted serum now.
They recently reformulated the TM, and I did get it, but I have only been able to use it once. I am still forming an opinion, but I hope to do a full review in the next couple of weeks.

I love their neck cream & needless serum (that’s one serum that NEVER irritates my super sensitive skin) 🥰 I’m going to get the under eye corrector - your recommendations never let me down ;) Have you ever tried Skin Better Science? My aesthetician has been highly recommending it, but at the price point I love getting other people’s feedback first. Last thing, I’d love a body care video if you have recommendations for all-in-one body serums or body lotions, and general anti-aging body care :)
I may end up trying the Needless serum again one day, but for some reason my skin seemed to look worse using it. I am wanting to try the Peach and Lily Copper Peptide or Maelove Peptide serum next. It may just be high volumes of copper peptides that do it to my skin. I would be lucky like that. LOL I tried the Skinbetter SPF and didn't love it. I haven't tried any full size products yet. The marketing of their antioxidant serum as a "Vitamin C" serum kind of put me off from the brand a bit. When you look at the ingredient list in relation to other ingredients that are only allowed to be used at a certain %, there is less than 2% Vitamin C in it, which is negligible to do anything to the skin. However, I know people swear by the brand and especially the AlphaRet product. I have had a lot of requests for a body care video. I am getting more lotions and potions for the body to review for myself and compile a list for the video. I will do one for sure!

Love the video and all of the great information, would like to ask about the Naturium and azelaic acid in general...you mentioned that you would use it every night, even the nights you apply tretinoin, I'm assuming you would use it with your other moisturizing-prep products before you apply the tret? I'm only a couple of months into tretinoin, things are going well, and want to do all I can to get the benefits without causing irritation! Thank you so much?
Hi there! So, the past couple of weeks, I have been trying my tret a bit different and applying it on dry skin right after cleansing since I am more used to the product now. This is how I used my curology when I used that as well. So, I will cleanse, apply the tret and then wait 30 minutes-2 hours depending on what I am doing and. how early I do my skincare. Then I will go on with the rest of my routine like normal, which includes the Azelaic Acid. I hope this helps!

I love Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads. I haven't tried the retinol ones, but I am sure they are fabulous!

I don't personally use a primer, so my SPF is my "primer" since it is the last step before I do makeup.
