You must have read my mind, I have been on a hunt this whole quarantine looking for a good natural looking foundation/sunscreen. Tinted moisturizers were something I never really thought of until recently but I don’t have the desire to go full glam everyday with a toddler. So this was very helpful, LOVE that you did swatches. I mean I can’t say that enough. Half the reason I’ve been stalling is because I haven’t seen any good comparisons at all. So very helpful. That’s why you are easily one of my favorite you tubers!

i love this cause as a dog mom and helping to raise my nieces and nephew there are some days i only have about 10 minutes to myself and want to look presentable so slap on some tinted moisturizer some mascara and a little lip gloss. i love the house stuff on ig we are redoing our closet its not very wide but it is very deep
i love guerlain's lingerie de peau aqua nude foundation. in my opinion it's more like a skin tint than a foundation. it gives a beautiful warm complexion while still being able to see your skin. it's semi buildable too. it's not sold at sephora anymore but it's at bloomies or nordstrom i think. highly recommend :)
This is great!!! I just finished Bare Minerals Comp Rescue and have a ton of other products from ‘boxed’ I receive, but nothing compares. I’m in my 50’s, and have some crepe skin. Nice to see Colourpop has one, didn’t know that!! 👍🏼

Yes, I apply my SPF before my tinted moisturizer. The SPF stays downstairs and is the last step of my skincare routine. I keep the tinted moisturizers up in my beauty room, and consider that the first step in my makeup routine.

I completely agree they shouldn't be in the same category because they are for entirely different styles and days. ☺️ I have only tried the colourpop ad bareminerals ones you mentioned but love them both. The Ilia has been on my wishlist so now I'm really excited to eventually pick it up, I trust I'll enjoy it based on your recommendation. ❤️ super curious how you feel about the hourglass illumination foundation at this point because it's my other face product I'm really wanting to try and it's so hard to find updated reviews on it now that so many more products have come out.

Great idea to split the categories. I think there is always an occasion for either a tint, light, medium or full coverage base. I hope the Ilia Skin Tint will be available in Australia.
swedishlina Good to know, thank you. The spf probably won’t be approved for Australia unless they’re prepared to relabel the packaging. Buying foundations and tints online can be very tricky. You don’t want to get it wrong when it costs $80. Thank god I have Mandy because I usually use either the same shade or close to it. 🥰

Hi Mandy- it's Lisa... Will you you use MAC Face and Body the next time you shop your stash? I LOVE Face and Body, especially for summer. The only person who has talked about how to apply MAC Face and Body is Lisa Eldrige and that was eons ago! It has been a while for you too. I think that MAC has one of the most unique formulas in Face and Body. The way it tugs on the skin as you rub it in, and the fact it is so sheer but waterproof! Can you tell that I love it? Heidi, the Dior is more coverage in my opinion than MAC. And MAC (to me) is best used with fingers only. It is a very unique texture and there are certain techniques that yield the best results, where as Dior can be used with brush or sponge and yield the same results.
Danm now idk which one to buy.. Either the Kosas or the Bareminerals.. I don't want a lot of coverage I just want something glowy that will even out my skin tone.

Hey girl! I LOVE the Revision, but I consider it more skincare and use it as my SPF (the exception to my rule) so it stays with all my skincare downstairs. It is a great product though and have used it alot in minimal summer looks on videos. It's a fabulous product. :)

Hi my two current faves are the bare minerals complexion rescue in opal (mixed with a little white mixer) and the Missha bb cream in shade #13 (also mixed with white mixer). The Bobbi Brown extra tinted balm in alabaster was a long time fave, but is now discontinued - why it was a beautiful product? I have very dry/dehydrated/rosacea and eczema prone skin, so moisturising base products work really well on me if I can get something pale enough. i like the look of the Kosas face oil and will try to get a sample. I love the kosas but mine turned rancid. No idea why, but I had to throw it away and it was half full. The smell was too much, like olive oil that had gone off. Has anyone had that happen?
Thanks! Question ... I purchased the bare minerals and day one GREAT .. day two AWFUL ..... looked like caked powder under my eyes and around my mouth etc ...so strange ! I did use a different spf that day ... so any tips to get the flawless finish? No powder at all? Fingers not brush etc ? Tia 🥰🥰
Hmmm...I haven't had any issues with it over various SPF, but I do tend to wait a while after skincare if I am able before I do makeup. I also prefer my fingers as opposed to a brush with that specific product, so maybe try it that way and see if that helps? I hope you are able to get it to work!

That's a tough one. The Kosas is more glowy than Bare Minerals if that helps. :)
