I'm definitely a less is more kind of person. But these were really nice transformations. Loved the owl minus the scarf/bow. I think it looked great without it. It looked almost stone which is really cool! Thanks for some ideas! 💕
Nice birdcage arrangement for minimal effort! If you use dark green, you could switch the insert and bow for Christmas, then again for spring/Easter ❤ The tobasket is so much better with the wood halves!! It would look fabulous with real produce, especially mini gourds and pumpkins. You are right, the eucalyptus weren't doing it. Not really what I think of for fall. Now I want to add ribbon to all my pitchers, teapots, even mugs 😂😂😂
Thank you so much! I agree, it can be used all year round, I love that. You are going to be so happy with the HUGE difference it makes to just add ribbon to everything. You could just do that and not change anything else about your decor and it will make a huge impact
I loved when you put the pitchers and plates in the basket, along with the crock. It reminded me of a fall breakfast, especially when you put the leaves in there. you could display it with a few small bottles of maple syrup or berry syrup for the pitchers and some jam with a cute spoon for the crock. Maybe a jar of honey with one of those honey dippers tied onto the crock, a whisk and a small container of pancake mix or a fall tea towel laying on it somewhere. I loved all the items you decorated.
@@DesertDIYI came here looking for this comment. I think the issue with the tabasket is the three different colours of the finished basket. It needs continuity.
Loved the owl!! The tobacco basket turned out great as well. You always come up with ideas with a twist and I love watching you! Charge emoticon make a profit. These items are worthy!
Oh girl you were just about a hour or more from me! But i actually libra with my son in Orlando, 10-15min from the parks, back in 2021! We went to the Good Will on Orange Blossom, just 5min from the house, several times! Its actually pretty nice, but i only went trying to find some cooler summer clothes. I was living in Tennessee & basically had mostly winter things at that time🥴 Which Good Will did you go too? (If you remember the location) I really didn't ck the rest of the store..i honestly didn't star seriously collecting until i went back to Tennessee. I had some things, but as far as really collecting it was after i left Florida. And now here we are moving to Florida, me & my husband. My son got married when i left, his wife is from Tampa so they live just outside Tampa, that's where we're moving to. We went out exploring Saturday.. I'm totally overwhelmed..10 thrift stores in less than 6mi and 10 more in the next little town 10min up the road! There's tons within 20min.. then there's Tampa!! Huge antique mall & i haven't even counted the thrift stores there🤪 Lol can go to a different place every day for a couple months😁 First place will be this huge habitat restore right down the road with a large thrift store right beside it! Now let me get some inspo from my favorite DIY'er😁(I always blab to much🫣🫢) Love all the finds!! I did like the Christmas tree dish, really cute! I want to find a large bird cage to decorate the inside. But I'll probably grab a few smaller ones like that size you have too, i just think they're sweet pieces. I'm so much A maxilmilist girl!!😁 The bow is really pretty, i think it looks fairly simple to make, thanks for that tip! Really pretty piece! I loved the orange pan! So pretty! But I had to giggle when you said to light the lighter to the jute & "whooof" all gone!😄 I love the antique tabaskets since i decorate with antiques & older things, but that one is super cute & may look really nice with a little darker stain or antique wax to look older. Definitely like the last way you styled the basket😉 Maybe A larger bean pot with the small pot, or ceramic creamers, i just don't use the stainless steel. Oh you're kidding Hobby Lobby would never put Fall out this early😲 lol yes I'm being sarcastic, girl they ALWAYS months ahead!😄 I really love the pumpkin patch, adorable!!🎃🌿 Another great tip, the pumpkins with the little twirly twigs! Now i like the jars in the metal basket, it looks old which i like! I'm not really a sunflower person, i do like the real ones, but never decorated with them 🤷♀️ I'd love to find a piece like that to put my sterling silver silverware in, that would be a perfect piece! Another great tip!😉 I do love owls & have a few small ones inside but this one would look awesome with my porch decor, great details!! Totally not what you're creating it for but that's exactly where I'd love to have it! Oooo(lol.. You're the cutest!😊) I have several little statues on my covered porch, that would make a great addition!🦉 Have loads of silver pieces, when we had our thrift store in Tennessee, and our men's recovery home, the guys did lots of different jobs. They did lots of house clean outs, the things that could be sold went into our thrift store. There were 2 really large trash bags & then some, of all sorts of silver from silverware to every type of serving pieces you could imagine! Some really large, down to smaller pieces. Most went to the thrift store but of course i was able to keep quite a bit too. But I sent some things i already had to the store too. Anyways...i will definitely be on the hunt for some large candle sticks! I have some in my storage I'll have to ck out.. but I'd love to have a few pieces like this! So much of my silver was in storage & not displayed, i wanted to come up with some different ways to display it. I had one open shelf full.. so here is me another tip!😉 You're hilarious.. not chamber pots!😂 I hope no one would use silver to umm tee tee in🫣😆 Well, maybe royalty or someone like the Kardashians😂 JK.. Don't nobody come at me!!🤨 I've got to get some E6000! I think they turned out beautifully & I'll definitely make one or more! Girl you're amazing & thanks so much for ALL the great tips!!😊 sincerely, Mrs Chatty Box🙋♀️💁♀️
I love all the projects , bot my favorite era the sun flower and the silver bowls with the pumpkins. You did a great job with all the projects. Blessings 🙏🙏❤️❤️👍👍👍👍
Yes, I think what would finish out your fall tray with little pitchers, plates, and brown pot is something tall such as a 5-6 inch tall pillar candle or something similar.
Loved these projects. Especially the tobasket. The autumn leaves 🍁 🍁🍁🍁 were perfect with it. For me I thought the wooden half beads needed to be stained lightly with tea or coffee. Just to blend them into the colour of the tobasket more. Then I think it would look amazing.
I LOVE the sunflowers in the glass jars. Whoever buys it could put fresh flowers in it in the Spring, or sprigs of holly in the winter months. It can carry through more than one season!
The silver pieces were casserole that would have glass liners inside and a cover to keep the dish warm. Used in alot of catering in hotels or on cruise ships. Fun redo.
Oh my gosh, a friend of mine just gave me the same boxwood piece that you have. I took it apart and used the boxwood pieces in different pots around the house. Then i put mason James in the burlap bags and use it to hold me plastic silverware on the table for parties. Love seeing the different ideas for the same piece!
Hi Cory, maybe stain the tobasket and wood rounds? I love,.love, love the pumpkin patch🧡🧡 I love the glass jars with the sunflowers 💛. My mom loved owls🤎. I really look forward to Sundays with you 💜☺️
The basket is so cute, im going to try it but think i would have painted it white, with white pumpkin then fall leaves around it with a few lil orange pumpkins scattered around white pumpkin, that would pull all the colors together for fall, ty for a great idea
Bows are a great addition! They can be changed seasonally as well. (I have a similar cage - now I am inspired how to decorate with it. Thanks!) [I learned the art of making bows, when I worked at a flower shop, in the 1970s. ] I decorate my outside deer statues in the winter with big red bows! Mad skills pay off! 🎉
O love the owl and the tall old silver candle stands. Am making the same thing with a bronzy spray paint to hold a group of candles this fall and winter. 🙂
Love the cage with the beautiful flowers! I love the amazing tray, I love the orange color! The vine is so pretty on the tray! The tobacco basket is stunning, love the pumpkin and leaves, but the second set up, so so lovely, too! The basket with the greenery and pumpkins is gorgeous! Love the wonderful little jars and the yellow flowers! The sunflowers are so pretty!🧡🤎💛
Love your style! My fav was the tobasket. I like using items that I have, like creamers, dishes and the crock. Your oval plates said Hall on the bottom. I'm pretty sure they are vintage. You may want to look them up.
Hi, for the beautiful basket, I would've placed a plexiglass glass either plain or textured for firmness. I would even get it in a desired color to coordinate the decorations you put in it.
I liked the decorations in tobacco basket. Loved what you did to upgrade it but I can see why you might like the white pumpkin better with the eucalyptus! Love your channel!!! P.S. Loved the pumpkin patch-just adorable.
I like the warmer leaves & the less orange color pumpkin with the t’basket. I think what is throwing things off a little is the unfinished look of it with the more worn rustic look of the bread bowl. I think they are competing with each other. Maybe warm up the t’basket (❤that word btw) a little & it will look more cohesive as a piece. Then you can decorate with anything. I can’t even think of fall right now…I’m too busy trying not to melt in this Texas humidity. I know I don’t have to tell you! 🦋
I think maybe the continuity is the issue with the basket, three colors of natural materials, “aging” the tobasket and beads to the honey color of the base. I really!! Liked the purplish eucalyptus leaves, I would have used yellow maple leaves with those, and a pumpkin of a different color. I’m so excited! I went yard saling and thrifting last week and started buying for crafting! The bird cage is lovely, just the sort of easy switch I like! You could stick in a thistle and pheasant feather to have an autumnal feel, and some greenery sprigs with a butterfly in the spring! 🤗Your orange tray! Had me thinking of a vine stencil I have that looks like your cloth vine, I could do that! Thanks for the ideas, it’s what I needed! Sometimes my imagination is stagnant 😏and creativity fails me. I find that sometimes taking a picture of what I’m working on and looking at the photo, tells me more about what I don’t like🤷♀️ I did it with my booth, and a room or project. Stepping back, being an observer. Thanks again for the creative spark, we appreciate it.
I know what you mean for the tobasket. The first look the eucalyptus covered up too much of the basket detail though a beautiful colour. The maple leaves of the second one looked perfect but the pumpkin didn’t tie in… my first thought was trying a crackle finish on the pumpkin using a neutral overtop, something that goes with the basket and leaf tones but the dark pumpkin colour would peek through the crackles or maybe easier to dry-brush or wax - to give the pumpkin colour more dimension.
Love the pumpkin patch ❤❤❤ for the basket I love the crock and dishes it would look adorable with a tea towel under just casually hanging over the side too. Love the bow on the birdcage too❤❤❤. You totally transformed that owl!! I might not do the raffia or ribbon but he turned out cute. You always have amazing ideas!!! Those half beads look so high end❤❤❤
I always get ideas from your videos! I especially love the pumpkin patch. For the birdcage, you could also add some height to the flowers by maybe adding a piece of wood under it? This might help balance out the piece more. I really liked Option #2 of the tabasket. And, you can never use to many sunflowers! They are such happy flowers, aren't they?
Really liked everything! The tabasket is so beautiful, I'd only give it a taupe paint wash, love that look. And the orange basket won't last long in your booth, I'm sure of it! My favorite season to decorate is the Fall 🍁🍂so thanks❤
For your tabasket, I would just drape a fall cloth napkin in the bottom before you assemble any decor. You could also change out the napkin each season you use it. Just a suggestion.
Luv that you laugh out loud at yourself as your doing the voice overs, I find myself laughing along with you😂. Those silver bowls are 'serving bowls'. 😉
Hi Cory sorry I missed you live. I have the first cage you used and I have a birds nest with eggs and a bird in it. Love all the projects you have done today 5he owl looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your ideas love love them. Catch you next time 😊😊😊😊😊
Man, I wish I could have met you in Orlando!! I live about an hour away! Love all your design ideas. I have a thing for white pumpkins, and while I like what you did, the white pumpkins would give it a brighter look (which you might not be going for) set against your cabinet. just a thought. Glad you braved FL in June! These are the times when I become a hermit, only venturing out to an air-conditioned store or the pool! Have fun!!
That wouldve been cool! I love white pumpkins too. I definitely will not be going to FL in the summer again in the future! Haha way too hot for sure. Last time we went was in early May and it was pretty great. I'd love to go in the fall also
Painting pumpkins looks really nice in french country colors..Shop your garage! Its satisfying to watch and creates income with stuff just lying around..
Loved all specially the tobacco basket with the base n the pumpkin patch one. Maybe add a coordinating hand towel n a white, cream or gray pumpkin with those first leaves you had. Just my thoughts. A lot of fall inspiration in this video. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Have an amazing week.
The silver pieces are silver serving dishes and you did a wonderful job with them! The large hefty base is perfect. Very high-end looking. Please try at least of 50% markup on all of these pieces. Your regular customers are not used to that price range, but I think many people will be.
Cory~You should be able to make a nice little profit in your store with the items you bought in Florida especially since you "dressed" them up so cute! Isn't it amazing how thrift goods differ from one area to another, let alone state to state??!! Of course, it wouldn't be fun if everything was the same everywhere we went, huh? Bless you and your family and fur babies! Have a great week! Thanks for sharing! 😍🍂🌻🌻🌻🍁🙏🙏
Loved ALL of your fall project makeovers! The pumpkin tray and the candlestick risers topped w/pumpkins were definitely some of my favorites. Good job, Corey!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉
I used to sell Mary Kay years ago. Had to learn to make bows for promotional give baskets. But now I love making what they call the messy bows. In your Tbasket. I like option 2, but l would have added some of this mini gourds and fall squashes.
I'm definitely a less is more kind of person. But these were really nice transformations. Loved the owl minus the scarf/bow. I think it looked great without it. It looked almost stone which is really cool! Thanks for some ideas! 💕
That's a good observation thank you
I also think the owl looks better without the scarf and bow
I agree, Jennifer. It did look like stone!
Nice birdcage arrangement for minimal effort! If you use dark green, you could switch the insert and bow for Christmas, then again for spring/Easter ❤ The tobasket is so much better with the wood halves!! U could use some dark wax on basket put a big pumkin in at an angle then some mini pumpkins in as well as the leaves .you always do nice stuff
The owl...😮😮😮
My fave was the owl, but without any adornment. Elegant and handsome with your upcycle.
Those 20:27 white dishes are individual casserole dishes. Should be oven safe. Can do any kind of individual baked dish in them.
I loved when you put the pitchers and plates in the basket, along with the crock. It reminded me of a fall breakfast, especially when you put the leaves in there. you could display it with a few small bottles of maple syrup or berry syrup for the pitchers and some jam with a cute spoon for the crock. I can totally picture that. So cute!
You never disappoint. Love everything you do.
Thank you Margie!
You always do the most amazing creations! Loved the orange tray with green vine ribbon. And those raffia bows put everything over the top! Great find.
Thanks so much 😊
Aren't those white oval dishes au grautin dishes? I can't remember for sure. Wonderful projects, they will be easy to replicate!
I think if you stained the tabasket and half rounds it would be perfect!
Great idea!
@@DesertDIYI came here looking for this comment. I think the issue with the tabasket is the three different colours of the finished basket. It needs continuity.

I agree. I'm going to do my guest room in a sunflower-ish theme
Beautiful creations. You can’t beat sunflowers and pumpkins for fall decor.

the white metal dish painted in orange with green trim and twine wrapped handles is gorgeous fall decor
Thank you! It was my fav too
So I have been binging your videos and I definitely LOVE the thrift and diy videos
Hi Cory sorry I missed you live. I have the first cage you used and I have a birds nest with eggs and a bird in it. Love all the projects you have done today 5he owl looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your ideas love love them. Catch you next time 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you! Now I'm wondering if the owl would've fit in the bird cage. Idk why I didn't think of that
Man, I wish I could have met you in Orlando!!
I'd love to go in the fall also
Love your revamping used items into nice pieces😊
Painting pumpkins looks really nice in french country colors..Shop your garage! Its satisfying to watch and creates income with stuff just lying around..
Love love love everything!!! You are so talented!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Great idea!! Thank you so much
The silver pieces are silver serving dishes and you did a wonderful job with them! The large hefty base is perfect. Very high-end looking. Please try at least of 50% markup on all of these pieces. Your regular customers are not used to that price range, but I think many people will be.
Sponge the pumpkin with more of the leaf colors and it would be perfect. Definitely like the second leaves and pumpkin.
Great idea!!
Beautiful projects. The silver bowls on the candle holders look amazing. What a great idea!
Thank you so much! I took a risk. I'm so glad you liked it
Omg! The boxwood pumpkin patch and the sunflowers 😍😍😍😍
Love love love your upcycles! I've actually GOT a number of those elements in my craft closet! I'm feeling inspired to make some stuff myself!
Woohoo! That's the best when that happens
I think how you styled the tobasket with the white plates, crock jar, and metal pitchers with the fall leaves.
Thank you!
You can’t go wrong with pumpkins and sunflowers.
I am a less is more kind of gal.
I liked the second look with the multi color fall leaves and the smaller pumpkin.
I'm sooo ready for fall
Me too. This heat isn't fun
I think silvery/gray green gourds would look great with the eucalyptus leaves. Then add a coordinating/contrasting ribbon row=top shelf😉
I can never get tired of sunflowers. Keep using them 😊
Same here!
Love big bows and I can’t not lie😂❤..def a maximalist!!..I use a bowdabra and zip ties..love all your finished projects ❤
Loved ALL of your fall project makeovers! The pumpkin tray and the candlestick risers topped w/pumpkins were definitely some of my favorites. Good job, Corey!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉
Thanks so much! 😊
I used to sell Mary Kay years ago. Had to learn to make bows for promotional give baskets. But now I love making what they call the messy bows. In your Tbasket. I like option 2, but l would have added some of this mini gourds and fall squashes.
It's a great skill to have! Great ideas
Everything looks great! You are so talented and you should be able to make a profit. Don't sell yourself short. Everything is lovely!😄😃😀
Thank you so much!
I agree!! Your stuff looks really nice-- you have a knack for those high end finish techniques.
The 'pot' was likely a covered casserole dish., which would have had a
Pyrex insert for baking the casserole.
