You guys are just stunning in your ability to capture almost every sound on the record. After having listened to the new outtake released yesterday was quite a revelation at how it is a full scale lower and slower than the finished track. Had no idea they recorded it this slowly and then speeded it up. I realize they were known to do this with say Ob La Di or I Will or even Revolution but never imagined this one was recorded so slow. Maybe it was to give Paul a break on the drumming
After decades of thinking I knew this song two things jump out at me: First, I never knew that in the middle eight part "and Moscow girls..." the chords descend one at a time. I checked against the Beatles' recording, and sure enough it's there, just barely audible. Second, I never knew that high ringing bell note in the third verse was George on guitar. I thought it was... well... a high ringing bell. Thanks guys!
I think Paul played the high pitched guitar part at the end on either his Esquire or Casino, but other than that I think everything else was pretty accurate.
@@Cook9698 Ah, I see the issue here. It's a single guitar. At 3:01 the Casino was not muted as it should have been. Sorry for the mistake. There was note an octave pedal or anything on the track.
Ably House no mistake at all. Sounds great was just wondering I don’t know how I missed that bottom left guitar getting the lower octave great stuff as always 👍
Hi. I wanna learn this song because I'm singing it with a band while I play rhythm guitar. I saw Paul playing it live and he doesn''t play the 13th while he sings. He only does power chords. Am I right?
So I'm assuming George played the (referring to video) SG part, Paul is playing the sunburst Casino, and John is playing the natural Casino? Or maybe I got John and Paul flipped, anybody have any ideas on who played which part?
@@robertlooper6764 I watched Mike's video already and comparing his lesson to this video, I think he honestly got some parts mixed up, but I'm not entirely sure. Like Mike said in his video, there were tons of dubs on this song, so I'm not entirely sure anyone knows who played what.
@@eastontanner6919 Well, most sources state that both Paul and George played lead guitar, and both George and John played rhythm guitar. Wikipedia says that George played the solo during the instrumental break while Paul played the high-pitched, single-note solo over the final verse. Not sure if that's true or not, but I do think Paul did play some lead guitar on this song, I'm just not sure what. As for the guitars played, I think George used his Lucy Les Paul, John used his sanded Casino, but I'm not sure whether Paul used his sunburst Casino or Fender Esquire.

I think that single high note in the final verse is Paul. Far as I’m aware the solo and the rest of the lead breaks are George

How do you do that rhythm guitar??? Keeping it up must be murder on the wrist!
You relax your wrist.
Ya what that’s not hard at all it’s just chuck berry chord patterns really
MC Binks I think he meant the Gallop Guitar
@@Paul-gf6kpYes, I did mean the Gallop guitar.

I also believe that Paul played the lead guitar with his Fender Esquire
george on lead guitar, paul on gallop guitar and john on rhythm guitar
What kind of setup did you use for the lead part?
What would be the amp settings for the rhythm?
Can we see your amps? Pedals? Thanks!

For that sg lead guitar is there some sort of octave pedal or another harmony on the chorus part?

what amp do u suggest to get guitar lead part on the solo?
Maybe a Fender Bassmanesque amp with a light fuzz on front
Who plays which guitar part on this
Is the lead guitar standard tuning?
