The reason I’m a fan of this club I have no association with, being from Nashville TN, USA.. have followed the club since Pederson made me love them

Not only will he be eternalised as one of the greatest ever to don the blue & white halves, but also a genuinely top human being - thank you for everything Morten Gamst Pedersen!! ❤🌹🔵⚪🌹❤

An absolute wand of a left foot and such a lovely person. He's welcome back anytime and I'd love to see him in a coaching role here

What an amazing individual, we were lucky to have him as a player and even more so as a person. I hope he gets some kind of coaching role or something here and hope the club treats him better than we did when they let him go in the way they did. I do believe he bleeds blue and white.

Him along with Tugay were my favourite players growing up - not to mention Matty Jansen too!

"It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." - what an inspiration and role model MGP has always been. 💙 I hope he comes back in some capacity and helps us get back to the promise land.

Love this guy, remember his corner goals... sounds like he's after a coaching job here, sign him up instantly, multi year contract.

His loyalty is something that is totally unheard of in the modern game, he could have moved to a massive club on multiple occasions but wanted to stay. The way he was treated at the end was shoddy.
    Legend. No doubt. 🔵⚪️

Best left foot we had, and was born naturally right-footed.
Didn't score bad goals - only amazing ones. "I am a smiley boy" - IYKYK.

@@Jaffster88 Nope. He is a goal machine and we wouldn't have won the title without him, but to get into my top 5, you need at the very least 200 appearances for the club.

The managerial transition from Souness to Hughes was pretty seamless. Souness got rid of and brought in some great players to get Rovers back to the premier league but Hughes assembled a great team who were fighting for Europe every year. Then Blackburn got new owners and lost their ethos and identity.

Good winger & was great at rovers...alas. Cant forget how he ducked out of scoring an unmarked header at the back stick against chelski at old trafford in the semi final of the cup fearing nutting the post... Shearer or andy gray woulda buried it regardless of a potential injury... Or messing ur hair up & driving home all bonny in a ferrari...After that was missed, terry & mouriniho stepped it up a gear & we lost the semi final... & no wembley trip for the faithful...

At the time was under-rated by many fans I thought, cause he went from a world beater early on to a still very good player after that.
Absolute legend though, bleeds blue and white, and a really top bloke. Future manager one day? 😁

Rovers of the Hughes era deserved and should have won a trophy we was unfortunate in 2006 and 2007 being knocked out of semi finals
