Brace the diff housings as Tojo's have a habit of bending them. I bent mine while doing the Gun Barrel Hiway. Also the shock mounts on the axle break easily. Nice rig!
Similar as 6 cylinder was the one I had my first attempt at age of 16 to touch a car to learn driving without anyone to instruct me and what to do to drive it was written on one face of A4 by a friend in 1981, the first day and first attempt was about to hit the neighbours house escaped by an inch away from the wall, the second attempt was a 5 minute drive around the houses in my area, the third one was testing wat it does driving it in a very slippery wet muddy ground, in a week called myself driver and was taking friends on board making long journeys never made accidents with for 5 years until the day was attracted by a very nice view😍 on the pavement which made me lose my focus and very gently hit the car in front 😁

L. Lum Tyres are 38's, but we run 33's when we want to go properly fast. The lift is minimal as having the 45 series body has allowed better wheel clearance. You only want the lift to give a little more up travel

This rig has had an amazing journey and you guys are genuinely lucky to be surrounded by talented and resourceful people. I have a 1983 BJ40 which was restored with a 13BT engine. The mechanic who carried out my work is very famous in his circles in Pakistan and has helped many win desert rallies in Pakistan. My vehicle now lives in the UK with me. I sometimes wish I had opted to install the 1UZ Engine in mine instead of the 13BT but my problem was the fear factor of moving too far away from stock. The 13BT uses the same engine mounts and I did not want to deviate too much. After seeing your video and the transformation from the 80 to its present form, I feel anything is possible, provided you have the right talent. Thank you for sharing such an excellent video.
