We had a storm hit, more like a tornado hitting Gippsland on Tuesday afternoon- no power , water and no telstra for a few days , possibly a week.
We are living like being off grid. A little farm staycation.
Lucky we have our trusty van and had purchased starlink a couple of years ago just to have better service - it’s definitely a game changer .
Your Ep is my usual Saturday morning ritual, loved it and have been watching your Arnhem 4 part series flat out to book sites and experiences for this July . Snagged a few great spots because of it - Cape Arnhem and memorial. Thank you for the advice legends. Your always funny , knowledgeable and don’t take life too seriously. Refreshing.
Keep being you - we all love every bit of watching you grow - you’ve definitely come a long way 🧡

Hi guys. Love your channel. Just watched this clip and I have to say I am so glad that you answered the question of how much money do you make with “None of your business” because it absolutely irks me when people think they have a right to ask these sorts of things.

Legends! I’ve been travelling and working for the past year and a half with the misses and 4 kids. We absolutely love it and can’t see it ending. There’s plenty of work in nearly every town and you don’t have to be fussy. Packing up, hooking up, unhooking and setting up everyday definitely takes its toll. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve said “babe book us in for another night” 😂 Another great video guys 👊🏼

OMG I watched the full 1 hour 10minutes without a break!!!
That’s how entertaining and informative I found the video.
You style, fun, interactions together works like a glue keeping me ‘sticking’ to what you’ve produced.
I believe your cinematography is some of the consistent and highest quality I watch/follow.
    🎉
I’m in awe of the work effort you invest to deliver topics and content for us.
Being a born romantic I love that you are soul mates, having a ball together.
Just simply bloody good fun to watch!!!!

1:09:06.... BUNNO!!!!!! Mate, I was born in Albany and spent a major chunk of my life in Bunbury, 40 years later and I'm firmly at home in Tassie. Hearing someone on the youtubes say Bunno, has brought me more joy than I thought possible! Makes me want to yell, HILLZEEZ and hear someone in the distance reply SURF SHOP, DOWN SOUTH, HILLZEEZ!
I also run a complete iTech world system based on your recommendations and I couldn't be happier. Safe travels and all the very best for 2024!

A great episode once again guys. Hubby and I are heading off for half a lap (west from Vic) in 6 weeks. We found this ep very helpful and reassuring that we are doing the right thing as we are both retiring early. We were lucky enough to book a couple of sites on the ningaloo coast without too much trouble. Cape Le Grand and lucky bay were a bit harder to book but managed to snag a couple of spots. Thanks for all the tips and hope to maybe bump into you guys on the road one day xo

"This is living Troy" Yes. You made my Friday night! From Melbourne but wondered about whether you will go to Tassie. I can't believe it would cost a few thousand for you to film there. You would basically be helping their tourism industry and paying for the privilege. Maybe all subscribers can split the bill. Anyway, love seeing your travels. Looking forward to many more videos.

Everything becomes mundane if you do it often enough or for long enough. Even the place you consider paradise when you move there will quickly become normal, the grass is always greener on the other side that is the human condition. Being grateful for what you have and not what you want is the route too happiness or so they tell me 😅

Just wanted to say thanks for the great videos - we found your channel about 3 weeks ago and have binge watched every single episode…just finished your latest! I know you said a couple of times that you don’t like your first videos, but they were excellent and, apart from your confidence growing when in front of the camera, I think they are just as good as your current ones. Oh - and we’re part way through ordering an Urban thanks to your wonderful info!

We really wanted a boat too. After a long long search we found a Porte-Bote. That’s the actual spelling of it.
Folds flat like a SUP board. We travel with it on our car roof. Ours is 4 metre one with 3 rows of seats with a 5 hp outboard 2 stroke. Takes us 10 minutes to setup and in the water.

    Hi Sarah & Keelan,
Another great informative and hilarious Q &A video from you. We laughed in so many areas, but I totally agree with Sarah about the rubbish at the door, it makes so much sense to place it there, and then once you’re going outside you just grab it and take it then to the bin. Just makes so much sense, and Jon just nodded and agreed with Keelan 😂.
Once again we love your honesty and total transparency., and look forward to next weeks episode which I know you will have already answered a lot of those questions in past episodes.
    Cheers

Keelan, you are an electrician so I ask this question; RCD's do not work with inverters. That leaves a number of alternatives, run earth to the chassis and earth the chassis to ground. Run earth and neutral to chassis and run to ground. Third is to use a RVD (residual VOLTAGE device) which will work with inverters and is my preferred option for safety. What are your thoughts? What do you use?

You asked if anybody else’s partner does that with rubbish. Not only does my wife require me to do the rubbish but for the entire first year I did all the outside jobs including set-up, water and dump points, most of the inside ones (except she did sweep the floor) and I did all the cooking; but she also refused to open the door to the van to go in or out. I still do most of those things but to her credit she can now open a caravan door, boil water on the stove, do some washing up and do the check-ins at parks. She refuses to drive the car even without the van attached and says if anything happens to me I will have to wait for an ambulance. 🤨

Another great video , just keep doing for yourselves what you do and how you do it and the results will speak for themselves . Just a query …….. we know you love the coast but have you spent much time inland eg ; northern goldfields of WA , wildflower season , Flinders Rangers etc of SA ?

I found tourist info centres often have dump points and they may or may not have water but they can usually tell you where you can get it.
I love love love your channel.
We are trying to hit the road in the next 12 months. We are a family of 3 plus a fur baby/security officer aka the rottweiler. We are travelling in our Triton which is my biggest mistake. Wish I'd paid more for the extra towing capacity, but we are working with what we have.
I'd love to start up a RUclips channel and do to a degree what you do. High light the good, know the not so good and the wisdom to tell the difference.
Travelling with a school aged child and her security officer/best friend. We want to do as much free camps as we can where possible.
We did a lap when kiddo was 2 yrs old for 19 months. Settled down for her school. After her having a knife held to her throat aged 8 yrs old and the school telling her to get used to it because it's how boys play and next time it happens to face the child and say I don't like it. I realised I can educate my child better Travel was great for her as a toddler, she was so confident then and we are itching to hit the road again.
We love wiki camps too but if we are looking into hema aswell now.

Great video BUT now you've put the wind up me, my partner and I head off for WA in 2 weeks for 3 months, we are silver warriors, not grey nomads. We rarely book ahead, we go with the flow. Thanks for the heads up, sounds like WA could be booked out

Excellent content- honest and funny. I have learnt heaps. Pity about the Tassie rules... talk to dept of tourism and they should pay you to come here and make some epic stuff. Cheers S

I know right, it’s hectic expensive laws meant for big TV corps but unfortunately we fall under the same ruling as small income creators!
Hahah glad you guys had a laugh
