God bless you amigo! I'm am 6 sessions into learning BP standing start wheelies , 636 stunt bike, no stability machine.... push past the fear it's all magic afterwards 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ha, definitely. You have to be aggressive to the bike up and then have the feather touch to hold it perfectly. Like anything else it just requires practice. Ade
U want to learn to power wheelie first. Your not going to be able to do a wheelie on anything less than a 600. U can but where talking about changing gearing. Stunt bikes are a little different. We change sprockets and things to suit our bikes. A 300 could wheelie but with a crazy gearing that will put u in 4th gear at 20 mph. 😂 I ride an enduro. I have went up two teeth in the back just to get up in 3rd on a sit down. I don’t suggest getting out there and popping the clutch. Get comfortable with the bike on a power wheelie. Know when your bike makes the most power and that’s where it will wheelie in first. Have a hand brake too. Set it up. Don’t do it without a crash cage. U will hurt your bike. I have crashed my bike practice and just going slow. Learning. Once I did get comfortable on power and knowing where the power is on my bike and knowing when I can and can’t do it. Now I’m doing them at 30 40 mph. I don’t have a hand brake so stand ups are tricky. I went down at 35 mph. It hurts with no gear. Just get comfortable with the power. When u go in first gear give her the beans and pull back at that time it makes it feel like a rocket. It’s fine if u get up 3 inches don’t be ashamed. We have all been there. Once u do that and get it down then pop the clutch. All it’s doing is giving u that extra boost to get u up. On a sit down on my 250r I can pull up and get up. Second gear on a sit down I pop the clutch. 3rd I have to sit back and pop it. But stand up your changing the weight and it’s easier to get up. Doesn’t take much to get her up. Just got to a parking lot and be prepared to drop your bike. Be prepared to get hurt.
I saw a what must have a been a young man wheeliing a scooter down the high street until he went out of site. Not sure how he got the wheel up in the first place.
Do behave Adey.. shown up by a pretty girlie, tut tut. good vid though. i pissed myself laughing. PS. i cant wheelie and at 63 i dont particularily want to.
Ha, yeah, I have never wheelied in my life, never tried. I have done a couple accidently and crapped myself. Done a few little ones on the SP2 on track and scare myself but am actually trying to train myself to go with it and the bikes stops it wheeliing arse over tit. Just difficult psychologically to do this. My MV has wheelie for fun BUT I have it on a setting that mitigates the front wheel lift. I was actually thinking recently that I need to try some wheelies.. not to show but i need to know how they feel so that when a little one happens I cam calm and dont panic. Ade
@@RevMonkey ive done 2 accidently. one on a gpz 750 with auto choke and once at the lights racing a mate. it was over in a second but its a scarey thing until its over then you wanna do it again..but cant.!! love your vids mate. crack on..
You're machine is failure you don't need to bounce the bike to bring it up...it should be as the same as in the pavement...want to know the secret why not to bounce and the bike will climb up...watch for my upcoming wheelie machine project...by the way I'm from the Philippines
Thanks to Marc from Sparky Stunts for a great day out. See more at www.sparkystunts.com/

Found that really interesting actually. The science behind it kept me glued.
It was too much for me to take in at the time :)

That is awesome!
That wheelie machine is awsome.👍👍
Damn right! Love to have one in my back garden! :)
Ade
I learned the real way on yz80, bought lots of rear fenders when I was a kid
Best way to do it. I started old myself, hence the metal in me from bad crashes :)
Ade
Never seen one of these before. They should be at bike meets. i;d have a quick for a tenner.
Speaking with Marc, it is a bit uneconomical unless there is a large crowd waiting to go on it.
Ade
wow, looks like fun. Girl was good. Love to go on that.
Yeah, Charlotte was great. Hadn't been on it for a while but you could see she was super confident on it.
Ade
How much? I want to take my bike here with you guys to do a practice session
I think he tours this around so you might be able to go on it somewhere.
Give him a shout.

very funny. that old bloke bit made me laugh a lot.
He was a real character. I had a great day out down there.
Ade
How do you made a resistance to the roller? Mine spins free with no chance to lift the bike up
I can't wait to get on one of those and thanks for the vid✌❤
They are super cool. Safe but still super scary!
Ade
😂 yes pretty wild
PMSL. great vid man
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Ade
You looked well tense my ladl RELAX lol
Agh, this is one my main issues on the track too.. I must Release the Tension!
Ade
The bit where you crossed your chest and looked up to the skies. Creased me up. Well survived.
Ha, I do that a lot and I am not even religeous.. mostly for effect but it does comfort me :)
Ade
It obviously looks easer that it actually is! 😲

I bought the machine. And it very hard to pop a Wheelie.
Possible on a dirt bike
Easy in fact! Lots of low down torque.
Ade
Interesting. I wonder if wheelie popping with the clutch is easier or not.
I have never tried it. Seems even scarier to me. At least with a power wheelie you can feel the power come in better.

What u use for the drum the tire rides on?
No idea!!
Bro how did you solve the roller? My roller just spining free i need more resistance help me
I can help but het in touch with the stunt guy if you can.
@@RevMonkeysame problem with roller
I remember the good old days doing wheelies every weekend on some poor blokes bike We just borrowed lol they got them back burnt out on a field 😂 😎
Ha, sounds great, You grew up with bikes. I had a shitty old Raleigh Grifter and didn't actually get a bike until my 40s!

Girl is nice - got skills too.
"fairly standard except the gearing" pans out to show 300 tooth rear sprocket hahaha. Thanks for the video
Ha. :)
Think you did okay. You done it on the road yet?
I keep meaning to try so that I start getting used to them when it happens and I do not panic.
Ade
Wheelies scare me. This video did nothing to change that. LOL
Ha, sorry. Ade

Really? Has no clutch and naff all power. Perhaps one can brake then accelerate and move all weight to the rear. I dunno, just guessing :)
Ade
You got a real good couch though
ha
So funny. DONT PANIC> Like the viagra bit.
Ha, I did need help getting it up :)
Ade
You didnt do too badly Ade - just got pwned by the others 😀
Ha, true. I found it pretty tough and was a bit scared of doing it a second time. Basically I wimped out. :)
Ade
hehe, at least you didnt fall of the back mate.
There was a thick mat there!!! No kidding. :)

Charlotte can get it
ayo thats my sister what you mean by that.....

I find all this stuff a little too scary, seeing people holing the bike up like that when on the road. nutters.
Yeah, but they do seem in a lot of control.
Well, not the ones on youtube who have buggered it up and crashed of course :)
