И мне в 93-м было 16! Первая влюбленность, первые встречи .... Кажется было только что. Не успела оглянуться а сыну уже 20! Как же время пролетело! Но в душе все теже 16.
Мне тоже в 93 было 16 лет. И я обожаю эту песню с момента её появления. Песня просто позволяет забыть о каких-то проблемах и вернуться мысленно в те далёкие беззаботные школьные годы. Из take that вышли классные молодежные группы и солисты: east 17, back street boys, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams если я не ошибаюсь.

Как точно сказано!Славный 93 год!Танки в центре Москвы разносят Дом Советов,на соседнем с ним стадионе Красная Пресня расстреливают его защитников.У Останкино крошат людей из пулеметов,,а у самого ВС палаточный городок давили трактами вместе с его обитателями..что же ещё напомнить из того светлого и беззаботного времени..тотальный бандитизм,наркотики,что заполонили всю Россию,спирт Рояль,что стоил дешевле хлеба..?)

I remember listening to this song with my beloved mom. It was 1993. MTV European Top 20 was something I coudn't miss any Saturday. It was a great song, I remember I enjoyed listening to it, my mum helped me to understand the lyrics, we really enjoyed listening to it. She died a few months later. I was14 years old and devastated. I always think about her when they play it although it was 28 years ago

Some people say mark can’t sing, but honestly I think he sung this song perfectly
People tend to conflate not liking the sound of someone’s singing voice with not being able to sing. I can get why Mark’s voice might not appeal to some but to say he “can’t sing” is grossly inaccurate!

I’m in the US, and only discovered them last year. My understanding is they were planning a tour of the USA for ‘96, but since they packed it in that year it never happened. I wonder how I would’ve reacted if they hit the US: I was a total indie snob back then. Detested New Kids, and when Backstreet Boys and N Sync came along I disliked them even more. Still don’t care for any other boy band, past or present. But these boys were on a different level. They proved it in ‘06 when they returned as men and still knew how to do it right.
I’ve always felt they packed it in prematurely. Another year with the slightly more mature sound (Back for Good, Never Forget) with their maturer looks would have been nice :) but at the same time I’m glad they split just before the emergence of the phenomena that was the Spice Girls. As a die hard TT fan, I wouldn’t have wanted them to be overshadowed!
