Why didnt you mark the wall with the story pole in the corners then snap a chalk line to get a mark around the perimeter ! I did a lot of basements like that ! Biscuit better be careful getting that sunburn ! I use to get sunburn a lot when I was younger and paid for it later with spots of skin cancer I had to get surgically removed ! Should be covering up more when in the direct sun ! Now I wear a hat and long sleeve shirts when out in the sun ! Just a word of advice !

Looks great, really see the hard work this one took and feel for you haha. Man you poor guys need a line pump service out there. We dont have many basements in Arizona, but any time I have to do more than a yard or two inside a house I can pump the job for 4-500 bucks. Its pretty rare for me to wheel anything. If I cant hit it with a chute or would have to wheel/ ferry with a skid steer/ or rake more than a few feet I spec a pump in. From what I have seen it looks like small line pumps are not as common in other parts of the country. We love them here out west.

Got a question would like your opinion, I need 7 yds poured and my driveway is 150' they did an awesome job it is edged with 21/2" thick pavers with at least 3" of concrete underneath so I am guessing the average thickness of the driveway is at least 5" there is no one section bigger than 10 x 10 its all been saw cut into a really nice pattern and the driveway is at least 15 years old, if it was your house or job would you allow the concrete truck on it?

This is typical of the basements in the houses we built back in my day.
We always put 3/4” plywood rips on top of the footing around the walls leading to a sump pump pit but we never used any wire on the basements. After the concrete cured we pulled the plywood out, and it created a place for any water seepage to get to the sump pit.
We used the floor joist as a level and used a stick cut to the concrete height.
We didnt have lasers, just transit type levels, but the stick worked well.
