This took years for Ammar to plan... Such a delicate yet challenging jump, watch all the way to the end to see how he pulls it off... To celebrate, we created a collection called “Moonshot” on Seek Discomfort for the dreams so big they scare you just thinking about them... See the collection here: www.seekdiscomfort.com

I know this video is so flipping old, but this man’s story is amazing. He goes from a childhood dream, and makes it reality. He shows up and does the work no matter what he’s going through. Even through hard times like the crash and being scared of the outside world, this man lived through it, and still accomplished his goal. This man is the meaning of life, and you only live once, so live you life to the fullest.
It's only a year 😳 slow down chief...
idk about that one chief!
Old? Old is like 70
On a real note this man is a legend for the fact that he got in a crash THEN jumped out of a plane they are legends
The editing and storytelling on this is absolutely phenomenal.

I've been stuck in a burning house (my family house) and now even the slightest smell of burning turns a switch in me, I'll be like a wild crazy dog searching the whole area for the slightest glimpses of fire!
I've been in a car accident and it's terrifying, although felt nothing at that moment, now it terrifye me seeing a vehicle approaching mine.
I've been the victim of an ambush for theft and chose to fight with a buddy instead of us running, one of the worst decisions of my life, almost lost a friend and probably my life, very expensive medical bills, etc...
Such events shape us in ways we don't even comprehend, it shapes our world view and our perspective of many things, the fact he kept going after being a victim of such a horrible accident, that's passion and a will of steel, dude is tunnel vision on achieving his dreams despite horrible events, that's inspiring and you'd understand my comment even better if you've been in a threatening life or death situation!!

Thanks to this channel i can feel as if i am not scared alone, as if all my problems can be solved by a mindset and dedication to bettering myself. Thank you Yes Theory.
I feel for you my friend. Each of us struggle in our own ways, and you are never “scared alone”. Some choose to hide their fears from others and that’s okay. Some fears are unbearable and bleed over into our everyday lives and that’s okay. For me, the key is to just accept my fears/insecurities for simply what they are… fears. Don’t let it stop you from living your best life. Whatever your dreams are, go for it. In the end, you’ll be satisfied with yourself regardless of the result. I believe in you!!
I've been struggling with depression, something guys find hard to open up about and deal with. I've been feeling like life is boring and meaningless. Watching the first few minutes of this video I was only smiling and thinking: "what an amazing thing Ammar is trying to accomplish". But then, after the accident, I instantly had this lump in my throat and kept fighting tears back for the rest of the video. Watching the journey not only to go to greater heights for the skydive, but also through life. Sean was the perfect instructor with the right things to say. Then, at the slowmo during the HALO jump, I just started tearing. Remembering all the things Ammar went through to get to this point. Finally living his childhood dream, it was just too much. I am glad he got out and down on the ground okay, but man... What a turbulent journey that was. So glad this got shared, with the amazing editing to boot; the video is so well put together, capturing all the emotions perfectly! I completed my AFF course 6 weeks ago and two days after I came back from the course I broke my foot. So now I can't jump for at least another 6 weeks, which just crushes me spiritually to be honest. People who have never experienced skydiving probably can't relate as much to this, but I was so touched by this video. I actually had tears in my eyes when you exited the plane because I know that feeling so well and I miss it so much. It is my favorite moment of jumping. I just can't wait for those 6 weeks to be over and to finally be able to fly through the sky again. I just can't get enough of this feeling and it is the greatest thing I have ever done in my life so far.
My name is David, I'm 20 and I live in Barcelona. Since I was a small kid I've always been scared to die. I'd panic attacks 6 times per day I wasn't living because of this. One day, I became aware that the best thing I could do to fight against my fear is to follow my dreams and do what I can possibly do till I die. I would say that you guys played an important rol in this. The truth is that I want to be the Prime Minister of Spain. Everyone that I tell this starts to laugh, but I definitely will fight to achieve my childhood dream. One day I though to myself: well, there's always a crazy guy that thinks that he wants to run the country. So I decide I'm gonna be that crazy guy. Now I'm studying political science witch means that I'm one step closer to my goal.
You will be the next prime minister of Spain if you have the courage and goodness in your heart 💓

Thank you so much Yes Theory ❤
I grew up with my dad telling me bedtime stories about his skydives, he always said there was "no greater feeling of freedom"
but when my dad was 38 and my mum was pregnant with me, he got into a serious skydiving accident. His friend died and he barely survived. He never went skydiving again and now he is retired and claims he is "too old for that stuff". But deep down the whole family knows that's not true and he misses it a lot.
My dream is to go skydiving together with my father❤
hope it happens 🖤
Happens a lot with pilots. You do something that you barely survive, or you watch a friend die doing the same thing. Sometimes you lose the ability either mentally or emotionally, to do any of it ever again, even though it's something you loved. It's an unspoken rule that when someone retires from something like this, that the subject is no longer up for debate or question, it is what it is and there's a tangible reason for it. If you're not confident and comfortable in a high stress environment where your life is on the line, you absolutely do not belong there. Don't push him, and don't question his reasons for not doing so. If he's at all interested, he'll let you know in no uncertain terms. Best of luck either way.
I hope you go skydiving some day man. It's the best feeling anyone can ever go through.
I hope you can convince him someday
Rest In Peace to your dads friend 🙏 and everyone else who lost their life skydiving
Imagine having people in your life that care about you like this
I'll be soooo grateful

New to both channels, I am enjoying the longer videos. The story and the filming is absolutely incredible. I am a big fan of Amar, his life story, fears and passion!
My gosh, your friendships are so admirable. I aim to build a community around me that looks just like this. Absolutely beautiful and nothing short of inspiring. #LoveOverFear
This is insane dude, I can’t imagine how peaceful it was up there.
Lol
@@lukasplayzroblox9371 hows that funny?

My personal moonshot. I was born with hydrocephalus, a brain condition that few very have, and brain damage is typical. It requires surgery, and often repeated surgeries, to manage. There is no cure. Facing this, I dreamed of finishing a PhD program. At age 29, I started, and at age 36, I completed and earned a PhD in Economics.
It may not be as thrilling as halo jumping, but I'm damned proud of climbing my own personal Everest.
What do you mean not as thrilling!!! That’s freaking AWESOME!!!! You should be so proud.
I’ll say it, getting a PhD is much more impressive than jumping out of a plane.
@@sportingkv10 Don't put down someone else's dream just to raise someone else's accomplishment.
My brother has the same thing. So many complications and he's finishing his masters in therapy now! Congrats and keep pushin!!!
@@noahhidalgo1639 When you complete your defense, its not an adrenaline filled moment is what I meant. I walked out into the hall and pulled out some scotch and celebrated.
Bro. You really are amazing for this, the way you controlled everything and achieved and overachieving what your goals were set out to be. This video is really amazing. Love what you all stand for and do. Sorry I am late but you definitely still do inspire. 💯
So I don't comment on videos much but that sequence of you jumping out, the scenery and the background music hit me to my core. It was captured beautifully and will forever live in my head. I've always wanted to sky dive and have that feeling of flying but I'm so scared of heights. After watchin this its the first time I ever said to myself, I CAN DO THIS! Thank you for the inspiration
if you see Ammar approaching he's either about to ask you to jump out of a plane or to possibly buy him a bagel
And I would do either in a heartbeat.
Today I realised why I liked these guys so much. Ive been watching Yes Theory for 3 years. Its because they are so real, so open, and they show the highs and lows of life. They are literally the most authentic youtubers ever.
❤️❤️❤️
@@YesTheory hi
Omg year theory! So happy that you saw my comment! Keep up the good work!
@@YesTheory can you pls post backflip part 2 please?

I've done 4 tandem skydives and wish I could do more. The last two were at 13,500. This truly had me emotional to tears as I can relate to that amazing feeling. I'll never know 300 mph, but life at 120 is awesome. The silence after the canopy opens is not forgotten. Proud of you for accomplishing your dream and so glad you have the video to relive it. I watch mine from time to time. Peace.
So beautifully put together that it makes me feel like I am part of the journey! Thank you for taking me along and allowing me to feel the raw emotions of a dream come true! To me, the part that made me connect so much with his overarching humility, gratitude and sense of family! Priceless moment!
I think that bit where Sean talks about making the situation adapt to his breath and not the other way round is a life lesson. Staying calm when there's nothing calm around you is such focus. Love that
I don't know the guy, never met the guy, but just seeing his aura from this video, you absolutely know he is the kind of dude that lives his life 110%, always. Inspirational, even if you're not a thrill seeker.
@@indorock definitely, a real life Bodey from point break
Honestly breath work is so underrated.
The camera man is an absolute animal. To direct such a beautiful film just using your head camera traveling 300mph, tracking these little dot in the air is a talent within its own
Watching the video is enough discomfort seeking for me 😅 I love these videos so much they’re so well done great job!
Tears of joy ! Could relate to that feeling and the emotions you pass by once you’re up in the air . Did skydiving once with a support staff and I dream of doing it myself someday ❤️✊🏼
This is the coolest documentary I’ve ever seen! So much tension and beautiful storytelling ⚡️
That's a low standard.

really? this is the coolest documentary you've ever seen?? that is honestly really sad and your horizon is super limited. Also how is there any tension at all? YesTheory has gone skydiving a dozen times lol they are just recycling ideas because their channel is used up and done
it was a magical experience just watching this! excellent editing and storytelling!!
Watching this reminded me of the thrills I had from the milestones I crossed during my many years of sport parachuting that began when I forged my dad's signature on a waiver form and began with my first static line jump at 16. Nothing really compares with high altitude relative work with other jumpers. Thanks for a fantastic video.
I’m Zack and I’m a senior in high school. I just turned 18 and every since I was little my dream has always been to be able to fly. When I was in kindergarten I was asked what I would do with $100 and no matter how many times my teacher asked me to pick something else my answer was always the same; I wanted a fighter jet. After years of hard work in school, I have now applied to the United States Air Force Academy, received letters of recommendation from an Air Force colonel and a congressman, and started taking my first steps to becoming an F-22 pilot which is one of the most selective positions in the entire armed forces. The F-22 is the king of the skies, second to no other aircraft, and I hope to one day soar among it. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Goodluck man, this was my exact dream till I hit the height limit. The least I could do is push someone else, hit those books man you got this!
very cool. Good luck.
Aye man that’s my dream to well I wish you luck my dude that will be me In two years hopefully
I'm 18 too and man, that's absolutely awesome to hear. I'm thinking about doing the same thing as well but now that i'm in college it's a bit hard. Good luck and hope you get to be a f22 pilot one day!
Chase that dream bro I believe in you and I really hope you make it
Everyone congratulating Ammar on jumping
The cameraman: -_-
This truly was amazing to watch almost like i felt i was experiencing it to real meaning of seekdiscomfort bought tears to my eyes on how well this was produced and pulled off really did well with the execution of tbis video i have been through many ups and downs in my life and not even got close to as even leaving the uk ive lost a lot an gain also to but from watching this i feel i have gained comfort i am terrified by heights but even from watching this i feel i could achieve the highest of highs cus i have already felt the lowest of lows thank you yes theory 🙏
Amazing experience!! Thank you for sharing and inspiring me and so many others. I am a new viewer to Yes Theory and really appreciate all your videos. I went skydiving once in my early twenties when I was living in Hawaii and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. That was over 25 years ago and you have inspired me to go again. Thank you.
