If you're doing the Jacob's Ladder right you should only be able to do about 3 minutes at an all-out Pace that's how it's supposed to be used. If you're going slow like these firefighters are doing it's not as productive
Arlie Hopes you have to explain why. They’re doing firefighting specific training. My guess is they don’t sprint up stairs in full gear, but rather pace themselves to conserve energy for the work upstairs and possibly carrying people out. They surely don’t want to get smoked in 3min. On the other hand someone training for a streetfight might want to go totally crazy for 3min straight doing wrestling takedown drills punching etc.
