I think they look quite nice in a sneaker-contemporary-futuristic-sporty-balenciaga-nude kind of way. On stage they probably really blend in with the legs or will do when different colors and finishes become available. That obviously requires people to actually give them a try.
for how expensive point shoes are it will hopefully give more kids options. maybe it will never be what they wear at big professional studios but there's so many smaller places that could use them!
I ordered these shoes after a fitting event in one of the adult ballet studios in Berlin with a couple of other people. It has been 5 months !!!! and nobody has recieved them. The only thing we get from them is excuses. We are thinking about filing a legal complaint against them. I definitely DO NOT recommend dealing with the company.
@@kurlykaitlynIf they're Western European (which I assume since the fitting was in Berlin); we don't really use credit cards here. If the pre-payment was done by debut card they can't do anything
Aren't they a start-up company? Then things like this might be expected. But then on the other hand, from what I've heard, these shoes are three times the price of regular pointes, even Gaynors. I just hope that if they are modular pointes then you can buy the individual components separately when they have "died", or am I mistaken?
I think they make your feet look stunning! I feel like they would work very well for a contemporary/lyrical/modern piece- they will blend in more with your skin (they have different color options, right?) and it would make for a more seamless look on stage. Plus, you wouldn't have to pancake them!
I've been wanting to try these but worried that they wouldn't have my size. Also would love a longer more in depth video about the shoes and your thoughts about them.
How often do you have to replace the tape? I noticed that it comes with quite a bit. Your feet look great in them though! Looking forward to an update!
What do they look like with tights over them? I think I’d need to see them on stage to determine if I’d buy a pair - unless they’re meant to only be for practice?
I like the idea, and the show’s lift looks amazing, but the way the shank flops around during roll-through is worrisome, and that heel looks a little baggy.
I feel like a lot of people look like they are knuckling a bit in them or they are slightly pulled back or something about the height and taper of the box is off as well I dunno

Yeah, I guess people won't have to pancake these any more.
#thepointeshop, I so want Josephine from The Pointe Shop to weigh in with her opinion on this new concept.

BOOST
Can’t you just call your credit card company and tell them it’s fraud and to remove the charge?
They're experiencing supply issues, and I've had in-depth updates from them. You've just gotta be patient for this kind of thing 🤷♀️

The heal of the shoe is the only part that would bother me because it’s so wrinkly 😅 but definitely looks really nice
I can’t wait to see you dance in them!! 💗
That looks soooooooooooooo Good!
Please please please give them a try!
Like literally use them until it breaks lol
Looking forward to you dancing in them. Not gonna lie, surprisingly they look good!! Give it a twirl and see how it goes.
I want to buy some so bad they look so cool and reading the reviews on their website they sound perfect!
How long do they actually last? In dancing hours?

Someone get Josephine from the pointe shop stat!
I comment on EVERY SINGLE VIDEO she posts asking her to talk about them 😂
She’s reacted to a few seconds of footage but her doing a whole video reviewing or fitting someone in these is kind of a no brainer

This is more custom-fitting, how did they work out for you?
They look great on you! Plus, you really made a content about it💗
Looking forward to more videos with them.
When will there be uk size 4?🥹 really wanna give it a try buy my feet are kid size🥹
I never did pointe. I took ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics.
I like the technology.

I love them but hate how the sole sticks out in the back in every video or photo I see.
Do you feel pulled back by them?
I was going to ask because everyone I see in them seems a bit pulled back?
Do they run small or big?
Стопа очень не эстетично смотрится в них... ( Все косточки и выпуклости торчат)
Well that’s interesting. Wow.
Is it me or is the platform a bit big?
Sorry, it looks like she's knuckling at the end.
I don't think those pointe shoes looks secure 🤔
So this is the Ikea equivalent of pointe shoes.
Seems like a lot of unnecesary work ngl.
No sewing needed ?!!
Way too fast, had to slow the video down to understand what you were saying
