Wow! Que hermoso! Se me salen las lagrimas de la nostalgia de verlo a su edad tocando todavía con tanta pasión y buena técnica! Siempre te estaré agradecido Jonh por inspirarme tanto !!
This is the song that got me to love classical music. I bought a cheap $3 cassette tape just out of curiosity because I was trying to learn guitar. I instantly fell in love with it. I made myself practice everyday for a year to learn the 2 Bach Cello suites that were on that tape and I finally I was able to play them all.
he uses a les complex arrangement than Segovia---however in my opinion I like the simpler version a little better---a little lighter---Segovia plays it much stronger---but not everything calls for strong---some things are better a little lighter.
Look for John W. Duarte's now out-of-print 1965 edition with John Williams' fingerings of Bach Cello Suite No. 1. Avoid Duarte's 1983 "New edition, with revisions" and it has too many added harmonies, and different and odd fingerings. Cheers! ~Miguel, Guitar Lessons from Spain 🇪🇸

JW is the cleanest most technically proficient player I have ever seen. Textbook technique everytime he plays
Boring af
The only piece that Williams and I each can play. Unusual to see him play something basic.
BRAVISSIMO!!!
Beautiful, bravo
There is only one John Williams !!!!!
No, there's more than one. Another wrote the score for many movies.

Mito da sempre,grazie maestro !
Good thing that I run these through an amplified hifi.
Wonderous ! xxxxxxx
Marvelous
Great, keeps the flow of the arpeggios moving to base line resolution which many don't, even Bream to my layman's ear anyway.
Thank for sharing

@@MusicARTeFact How can I see it??? Thank you!!!
Someone thinks they’re funny turning his mic down... they don’t realize they upset the whole universe with that shit!!!!
Sorry Bach, but this sounds better on the guitar than on the cello !!
As always, his playing is lovely, but I can't standard the tone of lattice top guitars. They just sound nasally & artificial to me.
Yeah, great playing, but tone is metallic and scratchy.
