I pray that your daughter finds the same kind of love in mini bikes that you, my son, my daughters, and I have found. My guess is that she will!
    Love the story, man!

Holy crap! My dad bought one in 1974...and then my mother sold it in 1975. We lived over in Paris TX. I was only big enough to ride it once.

1:15 that's the one I owned in the early 70s except mine had a black seat. My brother & I paid $129.99 at Woolco in San Antonio. A blast to ride. 3.5 hp Tecumseh engine. Unfortunately the belt began stretching & slipping & it got slower & slower. My cousin bought it & put the engine in his go kart.

YOU DID A GREAT JOB ON THE REBUILD. I FOUND IN SEATTLE WASHINGTON (AT THE TRANSFER STATION) A K AND S MODEL 90. HAD TO DO A COMPLETE REBUILD, THERE WAS NO ENGINE AS WELL. I CLEAR COATED THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND DECALS ON THE FRAME AND FENDERS AND MATTE BLACK ON THE REST. 1970'S BRIGGS AND STRATTON 3 HP (NOT MANY ENGINES FIT THE FRAME) COMET DRIVER AND DRIVEN NEW SEAT AND NEW TIRES. I HAVE MANY PICTURES I CAN SHARE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE END RESULTS, JUST HIT ME UP. AGAIN, AMAZING BUILD.
