It's a melancholy winter landscape and must be very beautiful in summer. I hope the Grimshawes and local people thoroughly enjoyed the valley. I feel rather sad, but I suppose Britons need drinking water free of fertilizer and pesticide runoff. Thanks for a lovely episode.

Good work, keep it up! This is therapeutic for me.

Another great video Leo, I was aware of the shrine and the ruins but didn’t know the full story of how the reservoir became to be. Leave no trace and only take away memories.
    Best wishes

I always find the demolition of a sound or grand house a tad sad. Nice video.

I went to a few raves in the ruins back in the 90's.

I will buy Goyt Valley and make the Cat & Fiddle my own personal dungeon

But why did they knock down the hall I wonder? its not that close to the actual reservoirs.

It does seem weird but I suppose to the water company back then it was close enough to justify it.
