I have been following you for so long Natacha. Wanted to share something heartfelt with you. A few months ago I went to through a breakup which made my health go for a toss. I was eating junk and gained weight but soon enough I started starving myself to compensate for the gain. I got into a bad loop. Then your videos helped me. So much. They reminded me how I need to be kind to myself. How it is ok to not eat “healthy” all the time. And most importantly, seeing you and Mario together gave me immense hope for myself. He is truly a gem and so are you. Thank you for everything. Loadsss of love for you, always. ❤

okay so your running improvement video changed my life. i was such a running hater, i refused to do it and was convinced i sucked at it. after watching your video i thought "you know what i'll give it a try." now? i literally run a half marathon every week and i LOVE running. all my friends laugh at how much i go running but it is seriously the greatest thing ever. wouldn't have been able to do it without your video so THANK YOU!!!

7:18 my jaw dropped when she said she’s 168cm I thought she’s like 175 or so that’s why she eats higher calories 😭 this really made me rethink how much calories I need. I used to eat 1000-1200calories or less that my body got used to it, now after watching Natacha’s videos I’m gradually increasing my calories (currently at 1600 but I’m aiming for 1900-2000).
if you struggle with the same thing please note that it’s okay to gain weight during this process and it’s the best thing to do for yourself and your body 🤍
I share the same fear and feel so alone and also can’t even verbalize it/even think of it without panicking. Although I’m sorry you share a similar experience because of this fear, it’s so comforting to know I’m not the only one with this fear. It’s such a struggle and really brings so much dread and can be difficult to deal with

This was HYSTERICAL. You trying to sculpt Mario's pants to show off his butt was a treat! 😂 I love how, even drunk, you two respect each other, listen, and take turns. As for your fear, I had an episode of tachycardia this weekend, after having a minor heart attack about a year and a half ago. I'm a fit 45 years old. I'm walking around feeling like a ticking time bomb. Both my job and my business are physical, and I'm training for a summer of ultras. (Don't worry, it's not running related, I actually train with low mileage due to time constraints. ) It's terrifying... I've had to talk to my Co workers about what to do if they find me on the floor. But hey, it's not cancer or a host of other illnesses that I'm more afraid of... and I'll hopefully be back to my normal self in a month, with or without a pacemaker... Make the most out of every day, folks... nothing is guaranteed.
I had a baby two months ago and am finally feeling good enough to get back into working out; which means I get to re-watch a bunch of Natacha's videos! 😊 Love these more relaxed videos too!

I think a lot of people have that fear and don't want to talk about it, which I totally get! A friend of mine from college died in a car crash a few years ago and it was so sudden and horrible which made the fear worse for me.
But I got breast cancer at age 24 last year and kind of had to come face to face with it and while it's still a fear I've tried to contemplate it more and come to terms with it because I think that demystifies it a bit. (I'm not going to die, I'm actually almost done with my treatment, and I'm headed to grad school in a month!)
There's a practice that some sector of monks do (buddhist I think??) that involve looking at images of people dying (art not actual people) and they are supposed to contemplate them and think "this is me". Which helps them with the fear and mystery of dying.
But I understand that people are scared of sort of "putting the idea out in the universe" I guess, but talking about things and contemplating ideas is so different than actions and events.
Thoughts do not equal actions! And worrying about something has zero power over real life
I hope that helps anyone that reads this! I completely understand the fear and it's very valid. But we all die and as a society I think we'd be better if we faced the idea of death a little more directly
This is not at all an attack on Natacha, I just wanted to share my thoughts about the fear of dying 😅
I keep trying to post an article but it keeps getting deleted 😅. The practice I mentioned is called maranasati you can just Google it if you're curious! And there's a good new York times interview with a buddhist monk about death if you google that, I highly recommend reading

Natacha, you don't understand. I started watching your channel during 2020 in the pit of my despair and during our world's collective trauma. I remember nabbing some of your guides during a black friday sale. Got to make some progress in Home Reload and Restart but never could quite finish a whole guide (which I've learned to accept through watching your videos! In the past I would have been so down on myself) I'm now going through Cut 2023 and I continually come back to your channel to remind myself why I truly enjoy going to the gym and training (grew up dancing, never thought the gym would be for me). I've watched all your videos already but I return to rewatch for a cozy pick me up and become overjoyed when I see you upload a new one. Thank you for providing such a grounding space in this corner of the internet. And for creating a whole library of content that I feel I can always revisit.

Girl the existential dread is a real thing. Sometimes, I’m just walking home from work on a perfectly sunny day and the thought hits me and then the anxiety and dread is like ice in the veins. Then I have to melt my brain with something benign to forget again. I feel you on that one. I also hate flying lol. Like we should all probably be a little more aware of how weird it is to be hurtling through the sky in a tin can thousands of feet off the ground… ✈️
Also for pooping in the morning before a run you gotta try a dietary fiber, like Metamucil (in the States). Start taking that every morning before you do anything and you’ll be more regular than you could ever be with just coffee ☕️ .

I loved this video. The modern, realistic view these two have on their relationship is refreshing. My own relationship is similar and its nice to see others not necessarily going down the traditional route. It makes you feel less alone in your choices in a non traditional lifestyle. :) Also, the Poo story killed me. Utilizing my own personal bathroom is my number one preference. I usually never do the number 2 in public. I cannot deal with someone walking in on me HAH!!

I also used to be sceptical about marriage but since Covid I've learned that it's still really important, especially if you want to be able to visit your SO in hospital etc.. You can always get a prenup if you're worried so now I don't see why not to get married at least on paper if you are planning on staying with your partner and are already together for a long time and living together. Divorce is always an option if one does break up 🤷♀
