The washroom issue can be annoying, however most subway rides are usually no more than 20-30 mins so you plan accordingly and make sure you go before you leave. I transit from Wilson to St Patrick regularly and it is usually a 20-30 min ride (depending on those annoying stops mid tunnel.)
I'm so happy you didn't learn about skunks the hard way. I had an early morning paper route as a kid. One morning I was an hour late finishing the route. I encountered the same group of skunks several times. Each time I just stood still up they moved on. I would then go to the next street over. The skunks would travel through peoples property and I'd meet them again. 😂
When you need a washroom in Toronto, what you do is go to a Tim Horton's buy a bottled water and ask for the key to the washroom, you can do the same at a McDonald's .
@@loriwhite8501 I'm talking about downtown Toronto, if you live in the outskirts of Toronto that might not be the case. Downtown Toronto McDonald's, Tim Horton's, Second cup, etc. you always need to ask for a key to use the washroom or go to the counter and ask to use the washroom and they will buzz you in.
There are lots of tunnels in Canada. You have to travel around to other parts of Canada. Also washrooms are discouraged in some parts of a city because people abuse them. Go to a mall, public building, etc. Also research.
안녕!!! I’m from Toronto too!! I laughed so hard at the lack of washrooms in subway stations, because you are right it is super annoying! But I know only selected stations have washrooms. My cousin has IBS and I remember she would carry a list with her of all the ttc stations that have washrooms just in case she had some emergency.
66 yr old Canadian guy here. There is a distinct lack of public washrooms throughout Canada. I visit Australia and New Zealand a lot and they have tons of public washrooms all over the place. This is the way it should be. Personally, I walk on the trails in Edmonton a lot and I have all my little 'spots' in the woods where I can grab a quick wee-wee if necessary.
I grew up in Ontario and yeah, when we went to places with tunnels it was kinda like a big deal. But when I moved out to BC they are a lot more common, so the excitement wore off after a while.
Yes, weed is generally legal in Canada, but South Koreans can be prosecuted for smoking it after they return to South Korea, so if they decide to smoke it while in Canada DON’T post it on social media !!!
Tokyo Smoke (Toke Yo Smoke...get it?) is expensive, cheaper to buy online, but it does the job in a pinch if you need a couple grams until your online order gets delivered.
@@rookiepark Both of these companies are pretty good, Bud Express is cheaper Herb Approach has a better edibles selection and they both sell mushrooms. www.budexpressnow.net/ herbapproach.com/
After visiting New York City back in the 70’s, where finding a public washrooms was almost impossible; I learned to just find a hotel which usually has washrooms in the lobby area. Fast food restaurants were another source, but not necessarily clean. Other restaurants granted access only to paying customers. And I guess if you were near a hospital or clinic, another option. So if you ever need to urinate or defecate ......
Skunk farts smell like weed. And give the young lass a point for understanding why Skunk Weed is the most popular strain of pot in Canada. It reeks so much but makes you feel, oh so chill!

You’re right! I will try to use washroom before i go out :)

Thank you for your insights into how our cultures meet. I enjoyed your authenticity and respectful analysis.

You go to Starbucks in Toronto for a clean bathroom. McDonalds is NOT clean, but in other countries it is often the cleanest, like in Mexico.
some Starbucks don’t allow to use bathroom without ordering tho 🥺

When I first smelled a skunk’s aftermath, my first question was, “ What had died and has now been rotting away ?”
Omg i am so curious now

You want tunnels? Take a flight to Calgary and get on a Rocky Mountain train ride to Vancouver.
