Yeah. I don't think it's fair too since they both have different types of voice. Demi is a Soprano (highest female vocal range) and Adele is an Alto (lowest female vocal range). But they are both amazing in their own ways :)

Adele is clearly a mezzo-soprano (her lows, despite being decent on their own, are much weaker than her belts). But if she were to sing in a choir/chorus, Adele would definitely sing the Alto part.

Demi sings it better than Adele, true, but she singing it 1 key lower has nothing to do with it '-' everyone has different tessituras and confort ranges, and just because someone's confort range is higher doesn't mean that person's better '-' it's like saying Ariana is better than Demi just because she has more ease on upper belts. Demi has a more solid voice yet Adele is fantastic singer. Yet I favor Demi's c5 over any other singer's cuz it sounds more natural compared to other singer's. Some of the few singers I see singing BETTER than Demi Are Christina Aquilera , Mariah, and Whitney. They are usually the older icons. Now a person I can see Demi standing side by side by would be Ariana. Where one would fail in the other is better
I agree on some points. But Demi has better technique than Christina honestly. And her new technique now seems to be smashing high notes like nothing and Demi has strengths that can counter whitney and Mariah's but I'm not saying she's overall better.
