Lol, I grew up with it too. Part of this challenge is me poking fun at some of the things I took for granted growing up. I was never a fundamentalist, but this wasn't too far from some of my family's attitudes. In other ways they were worlds apart. And my faith now is so much different than it used to be. I'm so glad you got the same kick out of it I did when I was filming it 😊
When god said "be fruitful and multiply" he meant that for the poor people from back in the days when you'd be lucky if even a 3rd of your children made it past the age of 2
Oh my gosh, Messiah Shafer! What are the odds? You’re so funny, “No, no, M’am” - I love how you talk to your sims. Smooth transition from accidentally clicking on Flirty Introduction to “My hormones got the best of me” 😂 I’m a new sub! I appreciate how you are trying to be respectful of your sim’s religion. ☺️
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment ❤️ I feel like tolerance has to work both ways, you know? I hope people from all faiths (or even no faith at all) can feel comfortable on my channel and we can respectfully question and poke at one another and that starts with me ❤️ I'm Christian myself so I grew up with a lot of these principles. I don't apply them like these Sims do, but I think it's important to respect the sim, or the person, even if we don't come to the same conclusions. Welcome, welcome!
Hey Simmers! I am so thrilled to announce that the 100die Fundie Baby Challenge is STAYING! You guys have given great feedback and amazing discussion! If you were wanting some of your Fundie couples or families in game, please upload them to the Sims 4 Gallery with #100dieFundie in their description so that I can find them and give Bethie and James some families to marry their kiddos off to! You can also find their lot uploaded to that hashtag. I'll see you in episode 2!
Oh wow - what an interesting take on the 100 Baby Challenge. I love how you're not going to rush thru raising the kids - it becomes too goal oriented when the focus is on getting the kids out the door. I'm seriously thinking of giving this challenge a try. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and creating a Let's Play!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I LOVE the 100 baby challenge but I love focusing on the family and their dynamic. The more the merrier as far as this challenge is concerned!
so glad this got recommended to me, I can't wait to see more!! this is such a fun twist on the challenge i have to try it immediately. you can also customize the difficulty by adding traits like off the grid and simple living if your sims are extra strict fundies
I'm glad it got recommended to you, too! I like the idea of those lot challenges. We'll get James upgrading everything to work off the grid so that his family isn't "dependant on the government" and then pop the off the grid trait on, but the simple living lot trait can go on right away, lol. Keep the suggestions coming of you have any!
I love this idea and I'm looking forward to seeing more! It's nice to see a different take on the 100 baby challenge. Also note that if you keep your bees within a certain range of the garden, they will actually help out! I recommend watching Carl's Sim Guide's video on gardening and there's a section on it but basically so long as they're within five large build mode squares they will be able to affect the plants. It acts as fertilizer! Which you can stack with other fertilizers.
OMG, thank you, Eric! I'll pop them on the other side of the fence and maybe get more of them. Gotta take care of our crops if we're gonna feed 100 kiddos, lol.
Thank you for your feedback ☺️ right now, I'll be posting once a week for 3 more weeks while the 100 Foster Puppy Challenge is on it's season break. After that, I'm going to try to maintain a two video a week upload schedule. We'll see!
Okay, so I am IN LOVE with this series already. For the religious book, I could see it being called the Watchbook. For names, Bible names would definitely be preferred. Even names like Grace or Faith for girls would be right up their alley.
Those would awesome for our future gens! I initially shied away from them because I didn't want it to just be about Christianity, but let's be honest... What other kinds of fundamentalist come to mind when someone says "Fundie?" Lol 🤣
Ooh some more things to consider: Will you allow the kids to go to college? If so, will both genders be able to go? If both get to go, will there be limitations to what majors certain kids can do (i.e girls can only do things like culinary or art majors, boys do STEM majors). And for more things to do on the lot, maybe you could add in a clothesline and wash bucket. I would also consider ways for the girls to contribute financially, so teaching the girls to needlepoint and selling what they make, candle making and other things like that, since a lot of Fundie Women do contribute financially (even if they think they shouldn't work outside of the home)
I love those suggestions! I would love the kids to go to college (but, religious Watcher Fundie colleges, so maybe they sit in on classes?) Or maybe we'll make poor Brichester the Fundie college, lol. And Yes, Girls would be going to get their MRS (ring by spring and all that, lol) the boys could do STEM and political degrees, after all... We need Fundie allies in government 😳. I love the idea of a clothes line and having the girls help with the chickens and even some of the animals (Milking the cow for example) but the wouldn't clean the barn as that's manual labor. And I think it like the idea of a Fundie family business, like selling canned goods at the sales table. The girls can and sell baked goods and the boys farm and sell. Put those little hands to werk!
You know what? As the series goes maybe the Jealous or Hothead trait would be something that we see overtake his good trait? We do love a character arch!
Very first time coming to this channel. 100% staying for this series. As a fellow fundie snarker, this is right up my alley. I commented this before you even dropped the IBLP as a thing you know about. 10000% staying now
Love this idea!! I might recommend allowing the mod to make larger households. To be fair fundamentist families normally have more than 8 ppl in a household. Its going to be a slow burn generation game anyways so it would be fun! (and we could get an extra dog too 😋) Edit: i just read more comments and saw ur explaination for wanting a more vanilla 😅 totally get it! But its fun to read everyones ideas and additions, this lets play seems to be really catching on 😊
Thank you so much for your comment! I love the addition of any mod :) Your point about the extra dog is soooo tempting! 😂 But I am terrified of taking the wrong amount of Sims into case and having one just smited off the face of the game, lol. I don't have enough organization to properly manage that 🤣 I am so glad you found the series and I can't wait to discover together what these Fundies get up to and how their family and personalities change!
Welcome back! Thank you for rewatching ❤️ the music does eventually die off in the series so keep that in mind. James and Beth have taken such a long journey from where they started.
New sub. I saw your livestream tonight. To build the fundie bible college & decided to watch from the beginning. You have such a nice cozy & funny vibe. & look forward to their story.
Loved this! I know this series has been going for a while now but it’s awesome to see something different and unique on your channel. 😊 (Also, found it hilarious how immediately after talking about their strict moral beliefs they went and had their first woohoo in a cow shed. 🤣)
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The timing was impeccable, lol. Thank you so much for watching and I am so glad you're enjoying the series. I have to admit that it's the most fun as a creator that I've had in a good long while
Interesting twist I think since it is a traditional role the last born boy should be the next heir but it up to u to decide lol and u should get a dog 😂
I think you're right. It makes sense that we should follow the last born boy as heir. Wouldn't a dog for so well on this little farm? Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. It was lovely meeting you!
I'm doing an dystopian future 100 Baby thing, where the Sim population has almost been wiped out, so my Sim has been tasked by the government to repopulate.
Hello Janem! Welcome ☺️ This has been so supportive. I am thrilled to continue this series. It was such a blast to film and I can't wait to see how Beth and James do. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it means the world ❤️
Hello and welcome! Deee is amazing 😍 He's so creative and I cannot wait to add his Sims to the challenge. If you have any suggestions then please don't be shy! Thank you for taking the time to say hello and leave such a kind comment ☺️
I just made my sims for this, you very much inspired me :) my religion is based on the jacoban religion from medieval. They meet on Saturdays, don’t like colors other than brown, and the ladies start motherhood as teens 😅 only men can have a high school degree too. Women also can’t wear shoes
I love your twist to the 100 baby challenge!! You just showed up on my recommended and I'm hooked. I can't wait to watch the 100 foster puppy videos. Your voice is so relaxed and soothing!!
Would Beth be doing painting, knitting, things like that? I'm thinking that's more like "Mom" stuff she could do. Also maybe even do baking and sell the stuff on the selling table
Oh welcome!!! Deee is amazing! I can't wait to see his channel absolutely take off, he's already doing so well ❤️ I hope that you enjoy the rest of the series and I would LOVE any suggestions or discussion you have!
As a Christian who grew up in fundamentalist churches (not there anymore) and who loves the sims, finding this let's play had me completely entertained lol. I know I'm about to become completely invested XD
For name suggestions…I grew up with a friend who was 1 of 7 kids and had, not fundie, but still very Catholic parents and all the kids were named after saints so…that’s certainly a theme to pick from
Oh my goodness, I love that ! We're going to need many themes as the generations go on, as we aren't necessarily focused on speed. Fun fact no asked for about myself. My family was VERY religious. We weren't Fundie and even believed that birth was fine, but between my mom and stepdad there were 7 of us, too! Lol
This looks like it's going to be an awesome series! And for a baby girls name, what about Opal like the birthstone , and I think if they get a dog, what about a Border collie or Australian cattle dog :>
Opal is a beautiful name! And I think both of those breeds are perfect for a farm. Something that would help James with the animals, for sure! And thank you so much for the time to take to comment. I am so appreciative for you 🙏
@@sheriahdavis5534 Also a great suggestion! Did you know that they were bred to herd cattle? Their legs are short so that they don't get kicked as easily.
Welcome, welcome!!! I'm going to do my best to get it up on Wednesday, worst case Thursday. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment ❤️
It's been so long since I last watched this series that now I've got the time and motivation I'm gonna watch it all again from the start and hopefully will manage to catch up with it 'til I'm up to date this time. Looking forward to fully diving into everything this family has gotten up to over the last year! 😊
It's really fun!!! I particularly like the community that we develop through church. It's really interesting to take a peak into such a different lifestyle.
I imagine that each of our gens will have differing levels of commitment to their lifestyle. Hopefully they last one will completely out of the cult, but I could see this next gen with be doubling down, first.
Thank you so much, Birdy! It's lovely to meet you ❤️ Deee is amazing! I absolutely love his series and his Sims. I am so glad you are enjoying the series.
really fun challenge so far! cant wait to see more!! btw beth should have the display case already in the household inventory from level 2 of the military career!
Thank you for your comment! I can't wait to show you more. Thank you for the tip. I will have to look there. I think it would look great right in the front room.
This randomly showed up on my recommended page and I ended up subscribing lol. I think this is a really fun way to mix things up with a challenge that pretty much everyone has done. If you do decide to continue with it, I'll definitely be looking forward to it
Thank you for your comment! I am definitely continuing with this challenge and editing episode 2 right now. I am thrilled to have you along for the ride!
I'm playing my own version based off of Fundie Fridays version and some videos from Whiny Brit! I'm trying to do a polygamous group, but 4 wives was too hard
OMG, I LOVE Fundie Fridays. When Jen showed us her Fundie family I was soooo thrilled ❤️ Yeah, a Polygamist family would be so much to manage! I would love to hear more about your family!
such a different (and interesting) twist on this challenge that I have not seen before - would like to see how it plays out if you chose to continue it!
I had so much fun filming it and I'm so interested to see what happens with this family, too! I think it's safe to say that we will be seeing more from our little Fundie family ❤️ Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
This is such an interesting take on the 100 baby challenge! I would Suggest the Simple Living Lot Challenge, where anything you make you have to have the ingredients in the fridge or your inventory. That would give an extra challenge.
This is a really unique challenge and I love to see it, but it’s gonna take a long time lol. I love to see variations of the 100 baby challenge because I get bored of the traditional challenge that most people do. They tend to rush through it, age them up quick and get them out so this is interesting. I will definitely keep watching. I think they should have a pet, just as much for the parents as for the kids. I love animals most, which btw I only just found you and subscribed, I never knew anyone had done a puppy challenge! I will have to check that out as well! ❤️
Welcome, welcome! Yes, please check out the 100 Foster Puppy Challenge! It's a riot and we're about half way through. They are ADORABLE 🥰 Thank you for the feedback on taking our time with this. I feel like I want to really see how each sim is affected by living this way. Will their kids like the lifestyle, hate it, or just keep going to keep the peace? I can't wait to see where this family takes us ❤️
@@ErinPlaysSims yes, I can’t wait to see how it goes, it will be so interesting! You put so much thought into it as well. I’m definitely going to check out the puppy challenge too! Thanks so much for the reply! 🤍
Right?! The families just feel so real and multi-dimensional. It can be a bit hectic to play, but I love seeing each one grow and change the family dynamic. Thank you for taking time time to leave such a lovely comment ❤️
I think we can definitely do some gem names for boys ❤️ there are some great ones that are just too good to leave the boys out on! Your rock nerdiness is welcome here!! Episode 2 is already filmed and the babies are named so look for these names starting in episode 3!
😂While I'm sure not intentional, a lot of this comes across as fundie propoganda. Unfortunately in the US a lot of fundies are getting quite dangerous. This is a very interesting idea and way to play 100 babies tho!
I hear ya! There's a part of their doctrine (very deep in) that talks about getting their Fundie sons into politics... That way we are all compulsed to be fundies, too!!! We'll probably be broaching some of those principles as our kids grow up. There's a lot of problematic things that you encounter as you go deeper into the "faith" and higher up the ranks. This family isn't there yet... But something tells me we'll get there as the gens progress! The big thing is that no one does something intentionally atrocious. They may wind up there, but a lot of these families have the best intentions and end (some unknowingly) supporting horrific acts. Then they get pulled into actively participating. The Josephs are in the honeymoon stages right now, but that's gonna run out eventually, lol.
Ooo! I love that!!! Maybe we can sell them on the sales tables once the kids get here so that it's a "family business." The girls can and bake and the boys sell at the table
So I have a couple named Elijah and Angelica Ferguson Elijah is from Simgastional stories meanwhile I made Angelica from the Rugrats where are they now and my story for it is for attention Angelica decided to leave her star dream behind to become a fundie and marry Elijah and Elijah and Cameron decided it would he good despite her having been divorced 3 times prior and she was baptized at her wedding and they live like it is the 1800s btw Angelica works the farm along with being a wife and mother and Elijah works in the religion career (yes I have the religion mod) but he may help her with the farm when he's done
Oh I love that! The story is so intriguing! I can imagine Angelica doing all the "right" things when eyes are on her, especially with the attention she gets as the Preacher's wife, lol.
@@ErinPlaysSims So update my laptop is down blue screen of death and all so when it gets repaired or I replace it I am doing a bit of a time skip Burg (Turg and Bowser's son) has grown up and married Anetha (Elijah and Angelica Ferguson's daughter also yes her name is based off the goddess of fertility) and they decided to become watcher fundies (BTW they are roughly 18-20 years old)
James should become Jim when their first son is born - James Jr, called Jamie by the family - and when the grandkids start coming along he should totally be Papa Jim.
I can't wait to film the next episode. It's really fun so far. It would be awesome if we all became the Watchers of our own little 100die Fundie saves!
I feel like i am doing this version of the challenge within just my normal game play. No matter how hard i try i always end up with 8 kids giving me the full house. I remember playing and saying ok this is the last child, we can afford a 5th kid. Me finds out my sims got pregnant behind my back. I was so mad at them and the fact that i still didn’t have a biological girl as the husband i married already had a daughter and a son. Literally barely even 10 minutes later i made them get pregnant just so i can try to see if the help with getting a better chance of the baby gender you works and i finally got the baby girl that i wanted. Honestly i feel like this might have happened to me has I am a christian and like fundie we ended up have a bunch of kids. I have a friends that have around 7 kids in the family. 😂 also by any chance can you either put the house on the library with telling us the name or tell us who might have made if you didn’t. I really want to switch my big family to the house lol. It’s fine if not though.❤😊
I always find myself having large families in game too, lol. It's just my play style. If you search the #100doeFundie hashtag in the gallery, then their house should come up. It was created by me, so you can also search RescueSimmer on the gallery and search it that way ☺️ I'm not the best at decorating, but it's at least big enough for their needs and it well play tested!
I love those names! I will add them to my list ❤️ And that's a great name for the Text. I think I slipped up a couple of times in this episode and called it a bible, but hopefully giving it another name will help me not to do that. You know, Watcher willing and all, lol. Happy to have you along for the ride 😊
As a queer person and a practicing pagan, I won't lie, these types of people make me incredibly uncomfortable in real life and I've experienced plenty of trauma directly caused by them/their religion, but I'm starting to warm up to these sims, I appreciate this creative take on the challenge and I love the reference to the Watcher from the Sims Medieval. Hope to see this series continue 💕
I am so sorry for anything you have had to endure because of these beliefs or anything that resembles them. Thank you for what it must have taken to get to have even tried this video out. Please know that if this ever triggers anything for you, then your peace of mind is worth WAY more than some video. Thank you for sharing a small piece of your story ❤️
@@ErinPlaysSims I appreciate your response, that's really kind of you to say 💕 Honestly I wasn't aware of the term "fundie" in this context so I clicked out of curiosity, I debated clicking off the video once I found out what it meant but I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. I'll definitely skip some parts if I need to but overall I really love your storytelling and I'm curious to see what direction these sims' lives will take. Wanting a traditional life like this isn't inherently bad and since my own mom has been a housewife all my life I'm in no place to judge someone for it (even if they're videogame characters lol)
@@break_the_galaxy exactly! There's so much that isn't exactly bad, and I don't think most people do anything setting out to be mean, or unloving. No-one thinks of themselves as the villain of the story. The Josephs may get into some things that will have them questioning their own motivations (I think we'll definitely see more questioning from their kids). We're rolling for things like sexuality and traits, which will decide whether each kid even wants the life that their parents have modeled for them. Statistically, I think the Josephs are going to be challenged in ways they can't even imagine right now.
I was honestly kinda worried. But this both appeals to my religious trauma and amuses me since I haven't seen anything since the Sims Medieval mention The Watcher. It's interesting I'll keep watching and see.
You know what? I can't say I have had trauma due to religion, but as a practicing Christian myself I have had to come to terms with how my faith has been used to do some true hurt to people. There's a saying that "there's no hate like Christian love" and I cannot deny anyone the truth of that. I'm so sorry for anything you have experienced at the hands of religion. Your voice and perspective are valid and you are worth love no matter where you are in life. There's so much that I have had to deconstruct about my faith and religion in general. Thank you for try this series. I so appreciate your openness to it. ❤️
In the Sims Medieval there were 2 sects that worshipped the Watcher and one was much more fire and brimstone and conservative. Maybe they're a branch of that. The Jacobeans. Or maybe they're more like the Petereans who are more in touch with the world and live and let live but just more conservative.
@@delanimoon Hopefully I can keep it light and funny for you guys. I think most of us are outsiders looking in to this way of life so I would appreciate any suggestions or perspectives you have for this series. Thank you for taking the time to comment ❤️
Right?! There are some Fundie communities that say the husband can teach (lead bible studies, essentially) and can train up the boys to do manual labor, but all cooking, cleaning, decorating, and raising of children have to be done by the woman. Not all, but some communities believe that if men are allowed to change a diaper or give a bath to a child, that it sets the stage for inappropriate things to happen. Even if that child is his 🤢
It didn't even occur to me, but I would be happy to as soon as I get home tonight! I am Rescue Simmer on the gallery! And I'll upload it to #100diefundie in the description so you can find it by searching the hashtag.
I was about to ask the same thing lol. Would love this lot . I really think this challenge could be the next big challenge . Definitely going to go create my founding couple.
@@aleesha5579 That's so lovely!!! More on this in Episode 2 but if you wanted to set your founders in our game, you can upload them to #100diefundie in their bio and I'll be able to pop them into my game. Poor Beth and James need Fundie friends, lol. You can also find the house by searching that hashtag in the gallery.
The holiday system should help with that 😉 Not sure yet if it will be totally homeschooled or if I'll let them go 2x a week so that they can progress and call those days "testing days."

It is! The Josephs are too. If you look in the Gallery under #100dieFundie it's calls 100die Fundie Homestead. I think my gallery ID is theRescueSimmer (or something like that). Look for the rainbow unicorn pitbull as the picture, lol.
That's a great suggestion! The religion mod is amazing and so well thought out ❤️ For this challenge, I like the vagueness that the vanilla game offers. I also like to play in a way that even console players could play of they wanted to, but that mod would fit absolutely perfectly with this version of the 100 baby challenge. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I appreciate you so much ❤️
Those would be amazing for our next gens! Maybe even the neighbor Fundie households, too (we're gonna need a lot of we're gonna marry off all these kids, lol)
That's a really good question. I have a couple of options but I can make a holiday for every day that they would go to school and tick that it's a day off school/work (which is why I had James work from home anyway). I could also have the kids go to school on Mondays and Fridays and say that they have to go to take official homeschool testing so that their grades progress and they get homework
I haven't used those mods before but I've looked at them and they look amazing! I prefer to use the vanilla game mechanics when I film challenges so that anyone could do the challenge, even console players. Although I have so much love and respect for modders and cc creators and do use some mods and cc in my personal game, though! LittleMsSam is one of my favorites ☺️
So I did a challenge like this on my blog in like...2018? And I just kept them home from school. Fundies don't care about worldly achievements like A's lol. There were different rules for age up, like for kids, they could age up once they completed their aspiration, and teens had to reach level 10 on a gender appropriate skill.

Nearly choked on the "100 baby challenge built in" line. As someone who grew up with a lot of religion, that was hilarious lmao
I think this series is interesting and different from a normal 100 baby challenge. Was wondering how often you would be posting?
This is like an extreme TLC show! 😂 would love to see more!
All we need is a camera crew in the corner going "cry for views!" And we're there, lol. I'm so glad you like it 😊 Look out for episode 2 on Wednesday!
Lol yes! Tho the couple probably wouldn’t have the “good” trait - at least not the dad… yikes. Maybe the holy text is called the “Simble”?
You know what? As the series goes maybe the Jealous or Hothead trait would be something that we see overtake his good trait? We do love a character arch!
Very first time coming to this channel. 100% staying for this series. As a fellow fundie snarker, this is right up my alley.
I commented this before you even dropped the IBLP as a thing you know about. 10000% staying now
Oh welcome!!! I am so happy you found the channel and Fundie snarkers are TOTALLY welcome 🤗 Seriously ANY ideas you have I am totally open for.
Lol Looking forward to watching more 🐺❤❤❤
I hope you enjoy it 😊❤️
Love this idea!! I might recommend allowing the mod to make larger households. To be fair fundamentist families normally have more than 8 ppl in a household. Its going to be a slow burn generation game anyways so it would be fun! (and we could get an extra dog too 😋)
Edit: i just read more comments and saw ur explaination for wanting a more vanilla 😅 totally get it!
I don't have enough organization to properly manage that 🤣
I am so glad you found the series and I can't wait to discover together what these Fundies get up to and how their family and personalities change!
This is really original! Im binge watching.
I'm so happy you're enjoying it ❤️
How are we feeling about this series, Simmers? Do we want to see more or nah?
Of course I want to see more!!
Yes! More, I love this
I would say want more. This is very interesting series. I haven't seen anything like this before. I love this idea for a series.
Also just Subbed to you also.
Yay!!! Look for episode 2 on Wednesday! I'm just as curious as you guys are what happens with these Sims. Thank you for taking the time to comment ❤️
Rewatching from the beginning, to catch up on all I have missed. Giving this a second go.
Welcome back! Thank you for rewatching ❤️ the music does eventually die off in the series so keep that in mind. James and Beth have taken such a long journey from where they started.
This is fun! Wouod love to see more :)
Thank you for your feedback! I am so glad because I would love to film more ❤️ It's so much fun to play so far!
New sub. I saw your livestream tonight. To build the fundie bible college & decided to watch from the beginning. You have such a nice cozy & funny vibe. & look forward to their story.
Thank you so much Yana and welcome! I hope you enjoy their story ❤️
Isn't that how it usually goes, the guy thinks he did great and rocked her world but she was like "meh" 😅
The Watcher 😄 thats great!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You're not wrong!
I really like this idea. Kind of want to try it myself!
It was so much fun to play and film, if it's up your alley, I would definitely recommend ❤️
I have to admit that it's the most fun as a creator that I've had in a good long while
This is such a creative take on the 100 baby challenge, I’m so curious to see what happens!
I can't wait to figure it out with you 😊 Thank you for taking the time to comment!
OMG, I LOVE that!!!!
Just found your channel. I love this idea! Hopefully you continue
Hello Janem! Welcome ☺️ This has been so supportive. I am thrilled to continue this series. It was such a blast to film and I can't wait to see how Beth and James do. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it means the world ❤️
This is kinda how I see the 100 baby challenge anyway lol I like this
Right?! We just took it to Fundie church, lol
New subbie here
Hello and welcome! Deee is amazing 😍 He's so creative and I cannot wait to add his Sims to the challenge. If you have any suggestions then please don't be shy! Thank you for taking the time to say hello and leave such a kind comment ☺️
Love it please continue!
I definitely will. Episode 2 is already filmed and being edited. Thank you so much for your support ❤️ I'm hoping to have this up on Wednesdays
I just made my sims for this, you very much inspired me :)
my religion is based on the jacoban religion from medieval. They meet on Saturdays, don’t like colors other than brown, and the ladies start motherhood as teens 😅 only men can have a high school degree too. Women also can’t wear shoes
Very interesting! I can't wait to hear how it's going as the generations go on!
I love your twist to the 100 baby challenge!! You just showed up on my recommended and I'm hooked. I can't wait to watch the 100 foster puppy videos. Your voice is so relaxed and soothing!!
Thank you so much for the lovely compliments and comment! Watcher willing, we'll have a new 100die Fundie Episode up tomorrow!
Would Beth be doing painting, knitting, things like that? I'm thinking that's more like "Mom" stuff she could do. Also maybe even do baking and sell the stuff on the selling table
I think that's a good idea! I'm trying to have her do that now, but honestly, until her daughters age up I don't think she'll have much time.
Hello! I’m new to your channel, Deee sent me! I really love how creative and innovative this series is! Im glad Deee introduced me!
Oh my goodness, I would so appreciate your thoughts as you watch! I'm so glad you found the series ❤️
And for a baby girls name, what about Opal like the birthstone ,
and I think if they get a dog, what about a Border collie or Australian cattle dog :>
Opal is a beautiful name! And I think both of those breeds are perfect for a farm. Something that would help James with the animals, for sure! And thank you so much for the time to take to comment. I am so appreciative for you 🙏
or a Pembroke Welsh corgi
@@sheriahdavis5534 Also a great suggestion! Did you know that they were bred to herd cattle? Their legs are short so that they don't get kicked as easily.
Yes, I want more! I was just looking for the next episode, but now I see you said wednesday! I will be checking out your other videos too!
It's been a wild ride for sure! Thank you for giving it a second shot and take breaks if you need. It can get heavy sometimes.
@@ErinPlaysSims Thank you for the warning! 💕
currently catching up on this series and want to do this challenge myself lolll
It's really fun!!! I particularly like the community that we develop through church. It's really interesting to take a peak into such a different lifestyle.
@@ErinPlaysSims yes it’s nice to see a different take on a challenge/legacy gameplay ! 🤍
I imagine that each of our gens will have differing levels of commitment to their lifestyle. Hopefully they last one will completely out of the cult, but I could see this next gen with be doubling down, first.
Girl Names: Rose, Ruby, Olivia, Opal, Lavender, Violet, Marry
Boy Names: Onyx, Oscar, Jacob, Trent, Elijah, Nathaniel, Josiah
Love those so much!!! Thank you for commenting ☺️
@@ErinPlaysSims No problem! I love the series so far
Not her getting stoned for accidentally flirting with someone else lol 😂
Right?! Fun times 😄 And I made her do it!
Deee knew what he was doing by recommending his channel to you. You’re amazing just like him and this series is just *chef’s kiss*
So this is like 19 kids and counting, but 100 instead
You've got it! 99 kids and counting, lol
Great idea! Been wanting to do this! Just wasn't sure how, so definitely trying this!
Keep me updated ❤️ It's really fun 😊
This is such an interesting take on the 100 baby challenge!
I would Suggest the Simple Living Lot Challenge, where anything you make you have to have the ingredients in the fridge or your inventory. That would give an extra challenge.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it ☺️
Can't wait for more. I was looking for a different take on the 100 baby challenge.
Thank you for giving this a try and taking the time to comment ❤️ Watcher willing, the next episode will be up tomorrow.
I really like the new twist to this challenge. very nice Xx
Thank you, my friend!
They are ADORABLE 🥰
Thank you for the feedback on taking our time with this.
Honest to Watcher this is a genius idea. I love it and look forward to more!
Thank you, dear! I can't wait to show you more ☺️
Love this! I love sim families with 6+ children, especially when they're single birth, and all children look similar/different
Right?! The families just feel so real and multi-dimensional. It can be a bit hectic to play, but I love seeing each one grow and change the family dynamic. Thank you for taking time time to leave such a lovely comment ❤️
Baby names tiiiime!!
(Went into some gem names for boys. Tell me if you want moooore rock names. Rock nerd alert)
Girl: Agate, Opal, Sapphire, Topaz, Ametrine, Diamond, Aventurine, Emerald, Jade, Andesine, Amber, Citrine, Morganite, Amethyst, Alexandrite, Sugulite, Melanite, Beryl
Boy: Granite, Mica, Calcite, Onyx, Basalt, Marble, Iron, Titanium, Lead, Jasper, Quartz, Rutile, Garnet, Kyanite, Zircon, Peridot, Nephrite, Kunzite, Carnelian, Howlite
I think we can definitely do some gem names for boys ❤️ there are some great ones that are just too good to leave the boys out on! Your rock nerdiness is welcome here!! Episode 2 is already filmed and the babies are named so look for these names starting in episode 3!
@@ErinPlaysSims looking forward to it! Glad I found your channel, I love your energy!
Thank you lovely! I'm so glad you're here ☺️
😂While I'm sure not intentional, a lot of this comes across as fundie propoganda.
You need the simple living lot challenge too
I love that!
Beth can bake cakes and do canning to sell and help James with finances. 😊. Love your idea
@@ErinPlaysSims So update my laptop is down blue screen of death and all so when it gets repaired or I replace it I am doing a bit of a time skip Burg (Turg and Bowser's son) has grown up and married Anetha (Elijah and Angelica Ferguson's daughter also yes her name is based off the goddess of fertility) and they decided to become watcher fundies (BTW they are roughly 18-20 years old)
@@kelsyebillman8694 I hope your computer gets fixed quickly!!! That sounds like a great storyline!
@@ErinPlaysSims BTW are your Sims in the gallery?
We need to get a pet! for them...not us. we have enough dogs.
😂 I agree, we definitely have enough dogs. What kind of pet should we get the Josephs?
James should become Jim when their first son is born - James Jr, called Jamie by the family - and when the grandkids start coming along he should totally be Papa Jim.
I love that idea! I wonder if there are any rock or Gemstone names that have "James" or "Jim" in them?
Makes me want to try this myself
@@ErinPlaysSims thank you i found it and now i just got to get my sims enough money to move in ❤️
@@Mush_room_Four_est Yay!!!!
@@ErinPlaysSims oh by the way I decided to do the challenge and i sent you my family. ❤️
@@Mush_room_Four_est That's amazing!!! I can't wait to see them 😊
Idea for the kids each one could be assigned a color scheme
I love that! Maybe something close to their rock or jewel name?
Flint, Onyx, Pearl, Jade, Opal,
Absolutely love those!
What about calling the book, The Book of the Watcher? I am loving this series. What about Alexandrite for a girl and for a boy Ignatius after a rock?

@Erin the Rescue Simmer ah yeah I'm not a Christian anymore for many reasons. But this has been very interesting I'm still watching. But yeah.
@@delanimoon Hopefully I can keep it light and funny for you guys. I think most of us are outsiders looking in to this way of life so I would appreciate any suggestions or perspectives you have for this series. Thank you for taking the time to comment ❤️
I might do this too and add a rule where the man cannot help with childcare, just the mother and sisters. Realism! 🤪
Even if that child is his 🤢
Quick question - were you planning on uploading the lot to the gallery? I would love to start off with it too. Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave all of these names ❤️ They are beautiful in their own ways, each and every one!
Is this house on the gallory?
What is your orign id??
It is! The Josephs are too. If you look in the Gallery under #100dieFundie it's calls 100die Fundie Homestead. I think my gallery ID is theRescueSimmer (or something like that). Look for the rainbow unicorn pitbull as the picture, lol.
Why don't you add the religion mod by Lumpinou? It comes with a holy book and praying interaction
I appreciate you so much ❤️
Would love if you used ‘unusual’ biblical/vintage names like nehemiah, jebidiah, ebenezer, drusilla, jezebel, zebedee
Those would be amazing for our next gens! Maybe even the neighbor Fundie households, too (we're gonna need a lot of we're gonna marry off all these kids, lol)
How are you going to do the homeschool? The vanilla game doesn't let you.
I don't know if you use mods but there are mods to add homeschooling
@@carriec3240 oh that's so cool! Can you pop a link in the comments for your blog? I would love to read it!
Is there any chance of you writing up the rules for this challenge? I would love to try this in my game. ❤
I would love to do that!
Maybe wait to get a pet
Immediately might be a bit too soon for sure, lol
