- Big shoutout to RC45 over at www.1000rr.net he specializes in this bike the SC77 or CBR1000RR 2017-19. Real solid tune, gains felt all throughout the power curve. The CBR is running at full power now and feels great.
Congrats man. I'm getting a KCS tune as well. In the works.
I juts got tuned by Paul too, waiting on my ECU now... can’t wait
Well I can tell you this much it's really solid
ayyyyy ecu buddies over here, its been about 5 days since i sent him my ecu lol That said, mine was already tuned and has a full system, block off plates, air restrictions removed. old tune made 165rwhp, I really wanna bring it back to the same dyno and test it
Gratz and welcome to the party!
Starting a winning tradition
Thanks for your videos. I found a bike just like yours brand new old stock. Are you still in love with the bike after a couple years?
Stay cool man!
I’m actually selling mine for something even faster but yeah the bike is very nimble
How many miles and how much did you pay? I’m looking to buy one soon, but don’t want to overpay.
Easier way to remove those block off plates is thru the air box just like you’re changing your air filter. Way easier then removing all the plastics lol
Its not that bad tbh, once you get used to taking thing off and putting them back on its not even very time consuming either.
Finally new video! I’m guessing akra exhaust is on the way😂
Close but nah I don't have 2300 just sitting around unfortunately
You don’t have to take off the all the plastics to do that. Just get access to the air filter and boom you can pull them out there.
Thanks for the info.
cool .....love it
I got the same bike 2018 sp.
Can I mess up with the ECU because the bike is on finance. I mean how far I can go about modifying my bike.
And are you using mode 1 for ECU mapping?
So here's the thing I doubt honestly that a manufacturer cares at all if you tune your bike. If you have the US version its severely restricted. Which means you are essentially missing like 10-20% of what the bike stock in EU has it at. You can literally take a US cbr1000rr sp1 2017-2019, take the airbox restrictors off, put a EU ecu in the bike and make the full claimed power that EU has on a stock exhaust and airfilter. Basically you will be fine.
To answer your second question the power settings 1-5 are what's tuned on my bike and I generally use the power 1 setting which is the fastest for my tune. And 5 when the roads are wet.
Honda had to dumb down the bike both in sound and emissions in order to hit the USA standard for them to legally import the bikes.
Also do engine block off plates with a full system, another easy +15-20
I'm on a full yoshimura exhaust right now pretty solid
Idk man those 2021 zx10r’s look cleannnnn... might trade in my 650 🤤
My friend is buying a 2021 zx10rr, I wouldnt buy the first year of the new gens because you have no idea what problems they are coming out the gate with. I can say though kawasaki is generally on top of their game when it comes to bikes and I will be getting a 2021-22 zx10r next time im around to buying another bike.
Can you feel the difference like big or just a minimum?
Plan on getting my ecu flashed also
So here's the thing regardless of what bike you get, you are probably making anywhere from 10 - 40hp less than what is claimed by manufacturers. Specially if you live in America like I do. Due to EPA regulations motorcycles here are over regulated.
A example is my cbr1000rr sp1 2019. Manufacturers have my bike advertised at 189hp at the crank and 175ish at the rear wheel. However, the US variant of the bike is tuned down to 168hp at the crank and 152 rwhp. So as you can see the US bike makes like 20ish hp less than the EU bike before getting it tuned.
The real advantage of getting your bike tuned isn't just that you restore power that was missing, you also gain hp over what was stock on the bike. When you add better airflow from a full exhaust, race filter and removing airbox restrictions you can easily gain like 30hp over stock on my US Fireblade.
Now, as for if you can feel the difference, yes! The difference between 152 hp and 185+ is a huge amount of power. The bike feels alive and very fast. Much faster and more pull than what it originally was. If you have the US fireblade the kcs tune from rc45 is your best option imo. If you have any other questions let me know. This does apply to every bike that I've seen so far. Tuning gives you more power than what comes stock and can remove top speed limiters and such.
@@r0hx227 thanks for the fast response
I live in California so I do plan on getting my ecu flashed soon thanks again!
What Stage tune did you get? Did you do Stg 2 Street?
@@Treizez34 stage 2
How do you reach this guy. Tried putting that name into that site but didn't come up
Send me your info at lcovington361@gmail.com and I'll get it to him.
Can you turn the wheelie control completely off?
yeah where you select up and down on the wheelie control once you have it selected go down to 1 then hold the button and it will go to 0 however, it will go back to 1 when you turn the bike off and on again.
I have a base 18 cbr1000rr that I'm looking to get flashed, how do I get ahold of the guy
Message me at lcovington361@gmail.com.
Chris Moore Mafia. Best mail in ecu out there. Only $200 plus shipping. I have a short video on my channel with the flash and a Leo Vince LV-10 slip-on. So smooth!
Have you messed with gearing at all?
Right now I have not I'm running stock gearing, was talking to Paul we are going to test 16/42 so I can stay in the gears abit longer for bikes like zx10rs, but even stock gearing I'm beating a lot of the bikes I'm against.
16/43 is stock so 16/42 520 is the goal I think need to do some testing first though
@@r0hx227 nice I just got mine flashed by Paul as well and I went -1 front sprocket tooth. No way I need to go passed 175mph lol
@@Tunnel_Vision_Moto if only that was the case here lots of faster bikes here
@@r0hx227 what do you guys race to, 190mph?
Hi I was going to send my ecu to Paul from KCS I am from New York doing his velocity stacks an stage 3 tune do you recommend him.
Paul is the only person to get the tune from imo the other options are pretty bad. I think he was selling a remote option too where you get sort of a tablet or something.
@@r0hx227 thanks sending him my ecu this week
@@jcastillo9596 How did your tune from KCS work out?
@@CorvetteLS7427 unfortunately I never got a chance to send it out to him.
@@jcastillo9596 Do you know what’s the best way to get a hold of him ? Was thinking of flashing my 17 ECU.
Without a full exhaust and sprint air filter you’re still leaving performance on the table
But yea the woolich flash wakes up the bike as it’s electronic valve control is never at 100% so the flash to unrestricted is a necessity!
You’ll love the full exhaust! My akra sounds beastly!
Moore mafia dyno of the bike
ruclips.net/video/FC9JtTj7KqI/видео.html
I have a full yoshi, race filter, 2 inch lower on the bike, and a stage 2 flash. The bike is very much alive now. Gonna get it dynoed soon enough.
@@r0hx227 I wasn’t aware of a stage 2 flash? Or aware of a flapper mod in the ram air intake? Interesting..
I know after I had the flash there is no need for the pair valve so I did that. Also heard velocity stacks can help the top end breath better than the OEM smaller stacks. I’ll have to look into the bike more 🤷♂️
@@CBR4Hondo The intake restrictors block off about 33% of the air coming in on each side its just glued in so you can easily remove it. My bike is flashed by RC45 who took this bike and turned it into a World Superbike. He has 3 different tunes definitely worth looking at because these bikes in the US are restricted to like 152-155 rwhp. His tune unrestricts the bike completely and adds more past that. Velocity stacks are good for more top end power for sure. Who knows to what degree some people claim more hp than what the full exhaust system would bring which is like 5-10 hp from stock i believe id want to see dyno numbers first and foremost. Then id want to see what the low/mid range are looking like. Top speed isn't everything thats for sure.
That being said i should be around 180-185 hp depending on the dyno right now which is still like 25+ hp gained from stock no flash.
you know abs off in this bike ? thanks
Its front and rear abs enabled for the sp1
@@r0hx227 I need abs off in this bike... you know?
Best bike made
Does your tuner have an Instagram or website?
Yes he does actually @rcfourfive
@@r0hx227 bro how much did he charge you for the flash?
