    Easier way to remove those block off plates is thru the air box just like you’re changing your air filter. Way easier then removing all the plastics lol

    You don’t have to take off the all the plastics to do that. Just get access to the air filter and boom you can pull them out there.

    I got the same bike 2018 sp.
    Can I mess up with the ECU because the bike is on finance. I mean how far I can go about modifying my bike.
    And are you using mode 1 for ECU mapping?

    • @r0hx227
      @r0hx227  3 года назад

      So here's the thing I doubt honestly that a manufacturer cares at all if you tune your bike. If you have the US version its severely restricted. Which means you are essentially missing like 10-20% of what the bike stock in EU has it at. You can literally take a US cbr1000rr sp1 2017-2019, take the airbox restrictors off, put a EU ecu in the bike and make the full claimed power that EU has on a stock exhaust and airfilter. Basically you will be fine.

    • @r0hx227
      @r0hx227  3 года назад

      To answer your second question the power settings 1-5 are what's tuned on my bike and I generally use the power 1 setting which is the fastest for my tune. And 5 when the roads are wet.

  • @ChaseN194
    @ChaseN194 3 года назад +1

    Honda had to dumb down the bike both in sound and emissions in order to hit the USA standard for them to legally import the bikes.
    Also do engine block off plates with a full system, another easy +15-20

      My friend is buying a 2021 zx10rr, I wouldnt buy the first year of the new gens because you have no idea what problems they are coming out the gate with. I can say though kawasaki is generally on top of their game when it comes to bikes and I will be getting a 2021-22 zx10r next time im around to buying another bike.

    Can you feel the difference like big or just a minimum?
    Plan on getting my ecu flashed also

    • @r0hx227
      @r0hx227  3 года назад +1

      So here's the thing regardless of what bike you get, you are probably making anywhere from 10 - 40hp less than what is claimed by manufacturers. Specially if you live in America like I do. Due to EPA regulations motorcycles here are over regulated.
      A example is my cbr1000rr sp1 2019. Manufacturers have my bike advertised at 189hp at the crank and 175ish at the rear wheel. However, the US variant of the bike is tuned down to 168hp at the crank and 152 rwhp. So as you can see the US bike makes like 20ish hp less than the EU bike before getting it tuned.
      The real advantage of getting your bike tuned isn't just that you restore power that was missing, you also gain hp over what was stock on the bike. When you add better airflow from a full exhaust, race filter and removing airbox restrictions you can easily gain like 30hp over stock on my US Fireblade.
      Now, as for if you can feel the difference, yes! The difference between 152 hp and 185+ is a huge amount of power. The bike feels alive and very fast. Much faster and more pull than what it originally was. If you have the US fireblade the kcs tune from rc45 is your best option imo. If you have any other questions let me know. This does apply to every bike that I've seen so far. Tuning gives you more power than what comes stock and can remove top speed limiters and such.

    Without a full exhaust and sprint air filter you’re still leaving performance on the table
    But yea the woolich flash wakes up the bike as it’s electronic valve control is never at 100% so the flash to unrestricted is a necessity!
    You’ll love the full exhaust! My akra sounds beastly!

    • @CBR4Hondo
      @CBR4Hondo 3 года назад +1

      @@r0hx227 I wasn’t aware of a stage 2 flash? Or aware of a flapper mod in the ram air intake? Interesting..
      I know after I had the flash there is no need for the pair valve so I did that. Also heard velocity stacks can help the top end breath better than the OEM smaller stacks. I’ll have to look into the bike more 🤷‍♂️

    • @r0hx227
      @r0hx227  3 года назад

      @@CBR4Hondo The intake restrictors block off about 33% of the air coming in on each side its just glued in so you can easily remove it. My bike is flashed by RC45 who took this bike and turned it into a World Superbike. He has 3 different tunes definitely worth looking at because these bikes in the US are restricted to like 152-155 rwhp. His tune unrestricts the bike completely and adds more past that. Velocity stacks are good for more top end power for sure. Who knows to what degree some people claim more hp than what the full exhaust system would bring which is like 5-10 hp from stock i believe id want to see dyno numbers first and foremost. Then id want to see what the low/mid range are looking like. Top speed isn't everything thats for sure.

    • @r0hx227
      @r0hx227  3 года назад +1

      That being said i should be around 180-185 hp depending on the dyno right now which is still like 25+ hp gained from stock no flash.
