Things to notice in this interview and See after 8 years of this interview how consistent this guy is till now
1.Yes there were reason, not I'm not gonna out them. (8 years form now he still doesn't out them)
2. No it wasn't a fight (8 years of Gohar and Farhan friendship after he left the band clear evidence that it wasn't a fight but a decision to avoid a fight)
3. No he didn't want to do a solo (it's just a byproduct of his leaving)
4. No, it's not about wanting a name in Bollywood. (Farhan didn't succumb to becoming Bollywood playback, He is his own thing, he choose all of 4 songs to give there till now)
5. No, His new album/songs won't have any of Gohar's new compositions (He didn't take anything other than what his contract said that he could i-e He could use the songs he himself sang for Jal nothing else.)
Farhan lived up to what he said here.

@@mariaaaa437 it wasn't that hit a song but Fàrhan Saeed sings whatever he likes the song he is talking about is "Bhool na Jana" from a film Main or Mr Right that song although is underrated but is really really good

This reason I admire Farhan so very much is that in this interview (even before this and now 8 years after this) he knew(knows) that people were(are) eagerly looking to point fingers at Gohar for Farhan's departure from the band, and Farhan firmly put a stop to it saying loud and clear from his attitude "I'm not gonna let you guys do that". And instead he said yes there were reasons from my side and NO it WAS NOT a fight.
Watch Farhan's interviews even now and He still has the same stance "Yes there were reason, No it wasn't a fight, No he didn't want to do a solo(it's just a byproduct of his leaving), and No, it's not about wanting a name in Bollywood". And even now his relationship with Gohar shows that it wasn't a fight, it clearly shows that it was more of a decision to prevent any fights that might have tainted their friendship.
That said, Gohar sometimes has a slip of tongue, and his disapproval of Farhan's decision to leave the band is sometimes obvious, but I still haven't seen Farhan loosing his cool on this matter or changing his stance about not outing the reasons behind his decision. Farhan is always like: There were reason, I left, end of story, time to move on.
I love that Farhan is this sensible, He always was this sensible(see his interview from Jal days too, he is so clear-headed with his opinions, it sparks instant admiration for this guy).
It is really really unfortunate to see now that no one knows Shazi though he was one of the best base player of Pakistan back in 2004 or 2005. Mann we have lost another gem.!

Sb se zyada takleef aur pressure main Farhan tha Atif nhi. Lari Atif aur Gohar ki thi Farhan bech main phas gya sirf is liay k us ne apnay art(singing) k liay Jal join kia. Us time pe apnay career k start main Jal quit kr k na apna career tabha kr sakta tha, aur band main reh k us problem ko avoid bhi nhi kr sakta tha. Phir "Atif craze" ki waja se fazool comparison saha (bawjood is k k Farhan ki voice quality main aur atif ki voice quality main bohat difference hai, personally I prefer Farhan's voice), and Atif k fans ki fazool misplaced hatred sahi.
Abhi bhi Atif jb bhi us mamlay ki baat krta hai Farhan ko us main drag krta hai. Farhan na Atif k bary main galat bolta hai na Gohar k bary main but Atif Farhan k bary main galat botla hai ab tak.

Us video main kisi ne Farhan se "You're a fucking loser" kehnay ko kaha tha aur Farhan ne as fun bol dia Goher se bhi yahi request hwi thi aur us se prolonged "Naaaaah" bola tha baki video main Haroon Jal k members ko introduce krwa raha. Us ki original audio main ik bar bhi kisi ne ik baar bhi Atif ka naam nhi lia.

@@salmanseedat I have seen that video and I have also got it checked by a professional, who confirmed that it it was dubbed. Now who do I believe an Atif fan who is insisting that I believe a fake video or a professional who confirmed that it was a fake video. I think I am gonna go with the professional here.

I heard the "indian college life related song" after listening to this interview and mu humble request to Farhan is PLEASE DO NOT SING FOR BOLLYWOOD SONG cos most of our mainstream music SUCKS!! please do collaborate with our top notch bands if you have to or music directors like AR Rahman or Amit Trivedi... but for heaven's sake do not sing for ordinary bollywood movies... they are MUCH below your standards!!

Atif is just a playback singer Farhan and Gohar are now both Singers, composers i-e they can legit employ Atif to sing for them, if they want to. Atif still has to find a job of singing.

HE IS NOT A SINGER
Yeah Farhan Saeed isn't just a singer- he is a wonderful singer(his works and vocals speak that tale all too well), an excellent composer (won 2 awards), an amazing actor, a fabulous dancer, has been a successful owner of Cafe, Is currently producing a film whose teaser speaks volumes about his and his wife's abilities in production, and an outstanding director (yeah he directed too). Stay tuned, this is not the end to his abilities there is more to come.
