it's interesting bc as much as i agree that bhanu's confessional count is pretty stupidly inflated, a lot of the early action revolved around him to the point of where i feel like they kind of had to give him a good chunk of the confessionals ?? im not saying they couldn't have afforded to cut it down a *bit* but also i think it was more an unfortunate result of yanu losing the first four immunities and bhanu essentially being on the block for two straight episodes
This was probably made before 46 even started considering most of his videos like this are made a while ago i.e. recasting aus all stars was made over a year and a half ago

I really appreciate your work on this. So many surprises I wouldn't have guessed. Some of the #2's (Rupert, Alex, Erik, Marty, Kellyn, Julie) and a few of the #1's (Penner, NaOnka, Jon, Austin) didn't register like that on viewing the season. I felt Carolyn was closer to Yam Yam, Chrissy was closer to Ben, and Natalie/Jeremy were not top 2). Well done.

Very interesting video. There are lots of stats from the data. Michele Fitzgerald (KR) 52:27 had no pre merge tribal councils and got 57 confessionals, while Denise Stapley (Philippines) 41:44 attended every tribal council and got 38 confessionals.

This is pretty neat! Any chance of adding some this analysis to your season reviews like survivor 46 when it wraps up or even diving into Australian survivor if possible which is just entertaining on the sheer imbalance of some of those edits!

Are you counting double length episodes as 2 episodes? Because Every season from Kaoh Rong onwards has only been 13 episodes with the exception of Game Changers with 12 episodes and Winners at War with 14 (excluding the Reunion which imo isn't its own episode and a part of the finale)
I would love to see the reedited versions of the lopsided seasons like Samoa. Also I think the edge seasos could have two confessional count tables, one for the main game, and the other for the edge game.

You should do the confessional count for big brother
I think Wendell was only given 13 confessionals in WAW because more were not necessary. He was by no means purpled, they just decided to show more of his conversations and especially his trash talk and tribal talk instead.

Honestly, it's strange to me how the Edge can cause the same numerical chaos in the 2 seasons it's in, yet the feel is completely different. EoE feels like a very unbalanced season to watch, yet personally, I felt like WaW was more or less a balanced show, minus a bit too much Tony. No one felt like they were truly shafted for content, even Wendell, Amber, and Danni felt like they had a satisfactory amount of content given to them
