This is such a great idea! It is fun to window shop, even if it just gives you ideas for which polishes in your collection need their moment to shine. This series would be great to do once or twice per season, depending on the number of brands/ polishes you want to showcase.

i really appreciate when you make videos that aren’t reviews (don’t get me wrong, you’re my fave reviewer!) i think i like it bc i can still enjoy the content without feeling the “this is sooo something i need” vibe?? feels more like im having a conversation with someone that also loves buying and wearing polish, if that makes sense! i don’t NEED every polish and it’s nice to be reminded that in the content i watch haha it helps me love the polish itself rather than the rush of getting new mail

I love this series!! Sometimes polish releases feel like a fire hose, and especially with so many friends getting PR and loving them, it feels impossible to maintain my philosophy of "only polishes you L-O-V-E LOVE", as well as my tight budget and space restrictions. Window shopping compilations feel like the PERFECT way to gush about a polish, dwell on what you like about it, work on duping it from your own collection, and letting go :) kind of Marie-Kondo-style, except for the concept of a polish in your brain 😆 Would love to see this once a season! Maybe I should do this too, on my IG stories 🤔

I love this concept! Please continue doing these, I could watch any number of these even if you post one every week :D I love the polishes but don’t have the space or the budget to get everything I like and even with my miniscule collection I realized I have very similar, almost dupe polishes because I gravitate towards similar stuff so you comparing new releases to older polishes and generally talking about new releases without buying / reviewing is very healing for my soul. I love your non-review videos a lot more since they feel more genuine.

I think it’s smart to limit neon and thermal purchases since they fade and die. The PFD glowy polishes are gorgeous. I’d love to see more makers focused on collections of colors that create a true palette.
Window shopping always sparks my creativity so I love this video idea already 😊 I've been having fun this summer playing around w/ toppers and jellies, and it's quelled the fomo A LOT. I always have several carts going for brands, but I often ask myself 'do I own this already?', 'do I need this now or wait', or 'can I use what I have and come up w/ something better?', and usually the long list/cart load lessens, and I'm left w/ polishes I really want, and can make smarter, happier purchases. PFD tho is really trying to get me w/ Night Glo, but I really want one (Glowstick) so we'll see, lol. I bought 3 from the Day Glo set last year, b/c I didn't have neon shimmers. I do like them, but I'll save you some fomo for Fluorescent as it's not pink at all! Maybe I got a bad one 🤷🏽♀ but mines is just bright glowy orange pearl shimmer. No pink in sight, in any light, low or sun. It's a nice shade but not as swatched. I was disappointed in it. I'd stick to Cirque's Cali Dreamin' collection. Only thing I'm not window shopping is PPU Rewind --- had my eye on a few for a while and have saved my coins so I'm not holding back 😂😂
I got Fluorescent from the second batch last year, and yes, it is basically an orange. I debated getting it again with this re-release, to see if it was more pink? But I did not. Now, Neon Surge, wow! That is a beautiful color! A totally neon, yet soft coral, with that lovely blue shimmer! I skipped Nova Melon on this release, because I was worried I might not love it, and I have a Neon hot pink with a blue to green to gold shimmer already. (Fancy Gloss Pink Glowstick) My Faves have been: Hi Def, Glow Stick, Limelight, Baja Blasted, Neon Surge and Astro Bright.
@@1603holly Glad I'm not alone in the orangeness of Fluorescent! I got it in that second batch too, so someone must've gotten carried away w/ the orange shimmer pigment or something, lol. It's kind of why I avoided Blossom from Equinox, and looked past the pink and orange from Night Glo. Neon Surge is one I should've gotten, tried duping it, got kinda close, but I still like the way the PFD one looks, so I might look into getting that one along w/ Glowstick. Such a fun video! I always enjoy seeing what polishes people are either wishlisting or passing on. I’ve passed on the last few Death Valley Nails releases but I keep thinking about Willy Nilly, lol! Trying to remind myself that so far my fave pastel neons are all from Color Club and I don’t need anymore. Forgot all about that when PFD Night Glo dropped. 😂 I grabbed Astrobright, Glowstick and Moonlit. They just arrived today and I have zero regrets!!

I bought both PFD glow collections. They are really pretty but i didn't need both and I was surprised by how sheer they are. I will give a few away and use the others as toppers.
What? Sheer? Interesting, I'm on their FB page group, and they were advertised as full coverage in 3 coats and even went as far as to say they didn't _need_ a blurring base coat. That a white one could be used if you really wanted to, but _not_ necessary.
aw i’m sorry to hear you didn’t love them all! shimmers are usually on the sheer side and look best in 3 coats imo, but I can understand if they were just showing more VNL than you’d like. using them as toppers would be so fun though!
I just got novamelon, Baja blasted, and glow stick! Got them yesterday and took them with me on vacation 😂 haven’t had the chance to try them yet but soon!!
I got Shockwave last year from the Day Glo collection and I didn’t love the pearly finish and all the bubbles in it 😕 I’m happy I have one, but it definitely stopped me from buying more of them this year. Loooove Polished for Days though!
aw that’s such a bummer! i wonder if it was just a bad bottle maybe? usually PFD formulas are really smooth! i wonder if adding some thinner would help with the bubbles at least, idk if you would try sponging on the last coat to make it less pearly 😅
I've been really enjoying PFD polishes, so I couldn't skip the Day and Night Glo entirely. In addition to Limelight that I purchased previously, I got High Voltage, Baja Blasted, Glowstick and Lights Out. So yeah, very green heavy 😅 I talked myself out of Fluorescent and Astrobright because I had just purchased Sassy Sauce's Vibin and like you I already own the Cirque California Dreamin' collection as well. Right now, I am trying to talk myself out of PPU rewind and other pre-orders that are coming out mid-summer because I worry that shipping to my country is going to take so long that I won't have time to wear all those bright polishes before summer ends. It's a good excuse, actually, and has prevented me from buying polishes in the past.

Loved this video! I picked up the pfd night glo set and Elecktra, I don’t have many neon shimmers and I was feeling the bright colors this year. I always lust after the Death Valley collections too but I rarely ever buy from them. The new bottles are really nice, but the price is a little much for me for sheer shimmers and cremes plus no free shipping threshold anymore.

I picked up Neon Surge from Day Glow and Baja Blasted from Night Glow. I did love the pinks but just like you, as a pink lover I already have pinks with similar vibes that are patiently waiting for a chance to be loved on my nails! I did not stop for a long window shopping for KBSh neons but I almost decided to buy two from the upcoming collection and then decided that actually no, not going to. I'm getting to the point when I need to be pairing down more and acquiring less.

I missed the Day Glo collection last year so bought both Day/Night Glo collections this year. I also bought Cirque’s Road Rague, High Roller, Plastik, & Electric Daisy. They all were delivered today & I can’t paint my nails yet since I had surgery on my left wrist Thurs 😩 I’m hoping to go easy with PPU rewind so prayers to the nail polish Gods to give me self control 😂 TFS 😊

Love your DVN picks! I don't know if this is helpful, but I have Willy Nilly and it feels very much like the more pink-toned sister of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (they're really quite similar, but side by side, WN makes FFF look almost orange). Middle Child is also brighter and more white-based / neon than it looks in most photos.

Makes it more tempting 🙈 and thank you for letting me know about MC too, it being more white based makes me think it’s more like creamsicle maybe? Which isn’t my favorite so I think I’ve convinced myself out of it 🤣

DVN polishes are such a wonderful luxury, but luxuries are no fun when you feel a hint of regret! Fwiw, I do think you should keep WN as a potential future purchase 🤭

aw yeah its a shame they didn’t bring that one back!! its such a delicate blue for summer, I wish I could give a good recommendation but I haven’t come across one! 🥲 Emily de Molly’s All The Feelings 2.0 is a shimmer topper with the reverse color shift so maybe that layered over a cornflower blue would give a similar color/vibe at least?
Im going for the kbshimmer summer vibes collection the blue. Pink, yellow, bucket list and maybe the scoop one. I just love that its named after ice cream! I want to take that opportunity to also pick up some i passed by in their spring collection : that starfish topper, what a pearl wants and it comes in waves. Ive been on the fence about it comes it waves because i think it might be the same as ilnp bottoms up? But the kbshimmer formula looks good on that color. The ilnp one is a little difficult to work with. Any thoughts on bottoms up vs it comes in waves?

I think it’s smart to limit neon and thermal purchases since they fade and die. The PFD glowy polishes are gorgeous. I’d love to see more makers focused on collections of colors that create a true palette.

Window shopping always sparks my creativity so I love this video idea already 😊 I've been having fun this summer playing around w/ toppers and jellies, and it's quelled the fomo A LOT. I always have several carts going for brands, but I often ask myself 'do I own this already?', 'do I need this now or wait', or 'can I use what I have and come up w/ something better?', and usually the long list/cart load lessens, and I'm left w/ polishes I really want, and can make smarter, happier purchases.
PFD tho is really trying to get me w/ Night Glo, but I really want one (Glowstick) so we'll see, lol. I bought 3 from the Day Glo set last year, b/c I didn't have neon shimmers. I do like them, but I'll save you some fomo for Fluorescent as it's not pink at all! Maybe I got a bad one 🤷🏽♀ but mines is just bright glowy orange pearl shimmer. No pink in sight, in any light, low or sun. It's a nice shade but not as swatched. I was disappointed in it. I'd stick to Cirque's Cali Dreamin' collection. Only thing I'm not window shopping is PPU Rewind --- had my eye on a few for a while and have saved my coins so I'm not holding back 😂😂
I got Fluorescent from the second batch last year, and yes, it is basically an orange. I debated getting it again with this re-release, to see if it was more pink? But I did not. Now, Neon Surge, wow! That is a beautiful color! A totally neon, yet soft coral, with that lovely blue shimmer!
I skipped Nova Melon on this release, because I was worried I might not love it, and I have a Neon hot pink with a blue to green to gold shimmer already. (Fancy Gloss Pink Glowstick) My Faves have been: Hi Def, Glow Stick, Limelight, Baja Blasted, Neon Surge and Astro Bright.
@@1603holly Glad I'm not alone in the orangeness of Fluorescent! I got it in that second batch too, so someone must've gotten carried away w/ the orange shimmer pigment or something, lol. It's kind of why I avoided Blossom from Equinox, and looked past the pink and orange from Night Glo. Neon Surge is one I should've gotten, tried duping it, got kinda close, but I still like the way the PFD one looks, so I might look into getting that one along w/ Glowstick. and oh noo that’s such a shame your bottle of Fluorescent was basically orange!! I figured some photos might be a bit off color wise since those neon corals are usually hard to capture, but ugh i would hope its at least a little pink lol. i appreciate you sharing that though bc that’s definitely turned me off from it 🤣 let me know if you do end up grabbing Glowstick though! I often find it hard to just buy a single polish lol
Such a fun video! I always enjoy seeing what polishes people are either wishlisting or passing on. I’ve passed on the last few Death Valley Nails releases but I keep thinking about Willy Nilly, lol! Trying to remind myself that so far my fave pastel neons are all from Color Club and I don’t need anymore. Forgot all about that when PFD Night Glo dropped. 😂 I grabbed Astrobright, Glowstick and Moonlit. They just arrived today and I have zero regrets!!

I bought both PFD glow collections. They are really pretty but i didn't need both and I was surprised by how sheer they are. I will give a few away and use the others as toppers.
What? Sheer? Interesting, I'm on their FB page group, and they were advertised as full coverage in 3 coats and even went as far as to say they didn't _need_ a blurring base coat. That a white one could be used if you really wanted to, but _not_ necessary.
aw i’m sorry to hear you didn’t love them all! shimmers are usually on the sheer side and look best in 3 coats imo, but I can understand if they were just showing more VNL than you’d like. using them as toppers would be so fun though!
I just got novamelon, Baja blasted, and glow stick! Got them yesterday and took them with me on vacation 😂 haven’t had the chance to try them yet but soon!!

I got Shockwave last year from the Day Glo collection and I didn’t love the pearly finish and all the bubbles in it 😕 I’m happy I have one, but it definitely stopped me from buying more of them this year. Loooove Polished for Days though!
aw that’s such a bummer! i wonder if it was just a bad bottle maybe? usually PFD formulas are really smooth! i wonder if adding some thinner would help with the bubbles at least, idk if you would try sponging on the last coat to make it less pearly 😅

I've been really enjoying PFD polishes, so I couldn't skip the Day and Night Glo entirely. In addition to Limelight that I purchased previously, I got High Voltage, Baja Blasted, Glowstick and Lights Out. So yeah, very green heavy 😅 I talked myself out of Fluorescent and Astrobright because I had just purchased Sassy Sauce's Vibin and like you I already own the Cirque California Dreamin' collection as well.
Right now, I am trying to talk myself out of PPU rewind and other pre-orders that are coming out mid-summer because I worry that shipping to my country is going to take so long that I won't have time to wear all those bright polishes before summer ends. It's a good excuse, actually, and has prevented me from buying polishes in the past.

Loved this video! I picked up the pfd night glo set and Elecktra, I don’t have many neon shimmers and I was feeling the bright colors this year. I always lust after the Death Valley collections too but I rarely ever buy from them. The new bottles are really nice, but the price is a little much for me for sheer shimmers and cremes plus no free shipping threshold anymore.

I picked up Neon Surge from Day Glow and Baja Blasted from Night Glow. I did love the pinks but just like you, as a pink lover I already have pinks with similar vibes that are patiently waiting for a chance to be loved on my nails!
I did not stop for a long window shopping for KBSh neons but I almost decided to buy two from the upcoming collection and then decided that actually no, not going to. I'm getting to the point when I need to be pairing down more and acquiring less.

I missed the Day Glo collection last year so bought both Day/Night Glo collections this year. I also bought Cirque’s Road Rague, High Roller, Plastik, & Electric Daisy. They all were delivered today & I can’t paint my nails yet since I had surgery on my left wrist Thurs 😩 I’m hoping to go easy with PPU rewind so prayers to the nail polish Gods to give me self control 😂 TFS 😊

Love your DVN picks! I don't know if this is helpful, but I have Willy Nilly and it feels very much like the more pink-toned sister of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (they're really quite similar, but side by side, WN makes FFF look almost orange). Middle Child is also brighter and more white-based / neon than it looks in most photos.

DVN polishes are such a wonderful luxury, but luxuries are no fun when you feel a hint of regret! Fwiw, I do think you should keep WN as a potential future purchase 🤭

aw yeah its a shame they didn’t bring that one back!! its such a delicate blue for summer, I wish I could give a good recommendation but I haven’t come across one! 🥲 Emily de Molly’s All The Feelings 2.0 is a shimmer topper with the reverse color shift so maybe that layered over a cornflower blue would give a similar color/vibe at least?

Im going for the kbshimmer summer vibes collection the blue. Pink, yellow, bucket list and maybe the scoop one. I just love that its named after ice cream! I want to take that opportunity to also pick up some i passed by in their spring collection : that starfish topper, what a pearl wants and it comes in waves. Ive been on the fence about it comes it waves because i think it might be the same as ilnp bottoms up? But the kbshimmer formula looks good on that color. The ilnp one is a little difficult to work with. Any thoughts on bottoms up vs it comes in waves?
