I feel like Dru got his first kill before Cane, and that’s why Lorenzo wanted Dru to run the family.
Now THIS is an interesting angle to dissect! 💯
Cane isn’t that much older than his siblings. Max is about 3 years between him and Diana. Meaning he and dru are only 1.5 years apart. It’s believable how they’d be at competition w/ each other considering the small gap but Cane is just too dominant towards Dru. I feel like his first body was at a time of real need. An actual mission, instead of a self defense like Dru. We need that backstory, because this scene made too much sense on why Dru didn’t really react to killing Keno or Guap. And at that time he shot that dead body to fabricate a robbery with Tariq in season 1, he seemed too used to the Gun. It’s mandatory to see Canes first body now though. Can’t have people thinking his first body was that lame nigga he killed in season 1😂

@@troypaasewe4150Cane is dominate because he was raised to be that, Dru was too, but the first flashback showed us that Cane been unruly since the high chair. I’m guessing he was the one who was always getting into shit when they were younger, hence why Mone’ made him a soldier. But Dru, he never wanted the game, has gone against it since day 1, even in the flashback he was asking if he could go draw, yet he picked up that gun and popped dude to save Mone’. One has to wonder why cane wasn’t on that run with Mone’ anyway. 🤔
@@jameshollister8294I agree, Mone’ has never been faithful to Lorenzo, she lied to him from day one. We all can see she didn’t really love him, he was means to an end. She said it in so many words. “Being with Lorenzo is definitely getting her to where she wanted to be.” Also, when she visited him she didn’t seem so enthused. She didn’t look too enthused about the cop she used or Mecca when he returned, she gave him attention cause he was to change things for her, once he couldn’t, she did what Mone’ does and moves on.
Also, They made cane look so much different from Dru and Diana on purpose, they look mixed, Cane daddy might be Cuban cause they get extremely dark like us but mixing with a Puerto Rican would look very different. Light or colored eyes, more caramel colored skin. Think Ghost hit Mone’ in the back of that car he and Tommy shared?(just joking but somewhat serious)

Woody definitely got to show his acting chops in this episode. More than he ever really has and I didn’t notice until I saw the range today.
I gotta call cap. He has been hands down the standout star/best actor of the entirety of book 2
@@Timquan. oh, no I absolutely agree. He has the best chops for sure - but we’ve never seen him be “emotional” as a character until this episode. He got to show more range. He’s been amazing in the pocket they’ve had him in but now he gets to expand
Tariq messing with Anya is gonna start a massive war with Noma.
She wouldn’t be able to do anything to him because Anya already lost her and she knows her mother is lying to her about something so if her new boyfriend ends up dead all of a sudden that might make her even more suspicious of her mother and maybe find out who she really is to the point that she wants nothing to do with her

The cat and mouse chase between Cane and Dru was kind of annoying to me, tbh. I kind of wanted something to happen but.. meh. Dru did have a crazy look in his eye during his last scene, though. So I’m still banking on something happening with him. Maybe he still meets his end this season
I think Sascha Penn is helping to write or direct this final season. The whole vibe has changed and all of a sudden everyone is on their A game and the story has great pacing.
I’m glad Monet was humbled by Janet and Dru because she single handedly destroyed this family…..Lorenzo to a certain degree too.

There was 1 major piece missing in this episode. Effie. Effie is dying in episode 5 or she is gonna catch a major body next episode. Her 1 scene in this episode speaks more loudly than her being in every episode. The writers are showing us that either her presence is not needed anymore or she is about to make a major dent in the storyline before she makes her exit!
