I have no words to describe how GODLIKE this scene is. The beautiful scenery, Godzilla’s roar, and everything else just makes this scene absolutely so good that it’s beyond human comprehension.

There's an aspect of Godzilla's roar in this movie that I can only describe as "deafening" and I know that's on purpose. So much so that you can hardly hear the iconic Godzilla roar sometimes, I love it.
It's like he is so absolutely incomprehensibly pissed off that he roars with so much power it literally tears his vocal cords apart and they heal mid roar. The break in the halfway point of the roar is just...I don't have words.
This is the best “Roar” scene in all of the Godzilla movies ever made. Literally sends chills through out my whole body. I have this clip saved on Instagram and I’ve watched it a disgusting amount of times.
One thing I loved about Minus One is how it used this specific Godzilla roar instead of the main “skreeonk” or a variation of it that we’re used to. The amplified volume of this roar is the cherry on top to make it sound a lot more harsh and deafening
Okay just about every other incarnation in the past has had a really sick roars But this one... You can see that he is pissed off Minus One if you ask me is by far the most angry Godzilla we have ever seen, The way Toho refined the original 54's roar and made it change halfway through almost making it seem like a voice crack in a way. But what really hammers home the rage for me is the position of his fingers, The way how they are clawed upward is just so angry Masterful roar, masterful position, masterful camera angle, masterful cinema This movie was 10 out of 10!
They said they achieved this by playing it through a movie theater speaker and recording that then playing it again lmao so its literally double boosted
i remeber watching godzilla 2014 in theaters, that roar shook the theater, im sure in this version too could easily shake a theater, you can't touch the king of the monsters
Not the loudest movie ever ( Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, The Net, Interstellar come to mind), but could very well be the strongest/loudest individual sound effect ever created in cinema (Saw in in Imax).
Godzilla 2014 was a cinematic masterpiece in terms of visuals, sound design, and plot, Kong was great and everything else besides KOTM was absolute trash, I wish they just kept the darker tone from 2014
To the people arguing this isnt a horror film, i refer you to this glorious 6 seconds right here. This is fucking bone chilling. This is the scariest monster movie since what ? Cloverfield? The existential dread this mf brings is palpable
It's because they basically took the original 1954 roar, cranked the volume up to the max, recorded it, and then added some embellishments here and there. Sometimes the most simple ideas have the best results.

I felt miserable for the characters at that scene
No, the scenery isn't beautiful, it's dead and cool literally
Everything died
Rubble
Smoke
This is one of the few Godzillas where you can tell how much the roar absolutely obliterated the ears of the people who heard it
Hearing loss to headphones: No
Hearing loss Godzilla roar: Hell yes!
It was amazing seeing this in IMAX
Can confirm after imax. I am def and peed myself
The OG Godzilla roar is iconic tho
@@jeronp420frl like it was so loud that it shocks you
Watching this in a top-tier cinema is just one of those, "Man, I love movies!" moments.
An authentic work of art.
I watched it too in a cinema it was so loud
Everytime it roared it took a piece of my hearing with it,amazing experience
10/10.Would lose my hearing over it
It never released on theaters here in Argentina lol this sucks
You think this is scary? Imagine hearing it blasting in theaters. Puts you right in your place.

This sound and War of the Worlds tripod horn. Might be some sort of war crimes though.
That’s what they did when testing the 2014 roar sound effect

My ears would explode of godzilla roared like this irl. 💀
Goji center literally said you would be dead if you were in the range of godzilla roaring
My bad, I didn't watch it.
Youd be liquified unironically lmao

His roar almost made me deaf in the cinema, and it was epic

Not gonna lie. This might be my new favourite Godzilla roar
It’s from the 1954 original godzilla roar
Yeah no

NOW THIS IS WHAT U CALL A GODZILLA ROAR
The roar that will be remembered throughout the year
He’s so scary! Most times I see him he’s kinda just walking into stuff. Here he seemed to be going OUT OF HIS WAY to destroy things!

How they use the 1954 gojira roar and add echos and other sounds to it is just brilliant
Godzilla just looks so vicious and so powerful here. An unstoppable force.
This scream nearly blew my ears out in the theater
I always get chills when I rewatch that scene
if you listen closely, the roar is a mixture of two roars from the original 1954 gojira.
I also hear a bit of Kong's roar I think..
They said they achieved this by playing it through a movie theater speaker and recording that then playing it again lmao so its literally double boosted
Celebatory roar after Godzilla minus one oscar win
Oppenheimer: I am death... the destroyer of worlds
Godzilla: Hold my nuclear reactor
I love this scene the way Godzilla roared shows how destructive he is😮
i love how the sound breaks in this video showing how loud godzillaactually is for the people close by
I love how they made the OG roar just more vicious and thunderous, gawd i hope they remake godzilla 1984 or 1985 and bring this godzilla back
I watched godzilla minus one in malco theater with my brother and sister that night. And I absolutely loved it.
I like how for a lot of it we Don't even hear the actual Roar because it's just that deafening
0:01 deadliest villager horn in Minecraft

Hearing this in the theater was like Heroin to my child brain
the most beautiful sound in all of cinema.
MY EAR ACTUALLY BLEED IN HEADPHONES-
This really said his rage and sadism.
Sounds like a new alpha call
King Kong never stood a chance.
MV Kong would whack the shit out of minus one.
@@jandel911 okay.
Favorite scene/ shot of the entire movie.
There is nothing cuddly about this version whatsoever. And the malevolent roar is indicative.
How does the CGI look so good?
Ironic how one of the smallest Godzillas is one of the scariest and most threatening. It’s all about presentation.
I'm glad I catched this one on cinemas, the audio is just something else, Pc or tv speakers can't give proper justice to it
I like you Godzilla galaxy I AM YOUR BIGGEST SUPER DUPER MEGA OMEGA ULTRA HYPER FAN OF GODZILLA AND YOU
This is godzilla 1954 roar and almost feel like combined in to one

You can feel the power in that roar
Those who are wearing headphones: ☠️
After watching all Godzilla seriers my one ear stopped hearing
Imma make this my wake up alarm

I wish genies we're real, because if i get a wish i would wish for

Bro my ear when i use earphone is make me jump and fall to pool💀.
Best scene in the movie in my opinion
Godzilla Scream normally: Angry Dinosaur Roar.
Godzilla Minus One Scream: Ear killer
me when l literally scream so loud in class the intire room explodes from the loud roar
I love how unlike Shin, while MinusGoji reuses the 50s Godzilla sound effects, Toho tweaked it a bit to sound more modernize
This my favorite shot, powerful!
The most evil Godzilla variant has the loudest and most chaotic roar. As he should have
This roar alone is better than entire monsterverse
This might be my favorite roar if godzilla 2014 didn't exist

And the crazier part is it sounds even meaner and scarier on the home release when they remixed to Dolby atmos track

Aside from all the death and depression, this is a pretty cool scene.

It is as loud as it was in the theaters

does it really end that quick?
it should have been longer mane
