Every Midwest/math rock riff are just little hidden gems
Your riffs have a sort of playful brilliance which captures the heart of Midwestern Emo, as I understand it. Keep it up man.
this is absolutely the perfect midwest emo vibe, the squire, the house that hasnt been redecorated since the 60's, and the beautiful view outside. great playing!
personal note, but I grew up outside of the midwest in the appalachian mountains and I feel like I am a midwest emo kid just cause ive lived in these exact type of spaces and my friends houses were almost always the same way. Ive also been saying ope since I was a kid too, so either my dads kentucky blood set me up for this or a little bit of yalls vibes trickled down the mountain range

These squires are amazing value for money.
Some of the Squires are better than MIM Fender Strats.
You don't need to spend 1000s for a really good guitar these days.
Shecter are putting out some amazing high end guitars at a fraction of the cost.
The new Blackjack solo 2 they put out from last year, is one of the nicest playing/feeling guitars I've ever used.....The specs on that are unbelievable for the price.
You can even pick up a brand new Charvel for well under £1000.....I got a brand new, Pro Mod Sandimas So Cal for £510 in a Christmas sale.
Then you have "cheaper" brands like Harley Benton, who are putting out some solid beginner and affordable guitars.
Theres a lot of choice for both low to mid range guitars these days and the lower end models are getting better and better.
This makes me want to cry as much as it makes me relish in the good memories of my life

Trent Canpee anything that challenges you is going to help a lot! I’ve learned some really challenging Chon riffs that help with big chord stretches and hybrid/ fast picking. Tiny moving parts helped learn a decent amount of tapping. I find trying to come up with your own riffs a good exercise as writing takes so much repetition to get things to sound “right” so you kind of get a 2 for 1 deal.
This might be my favorite riff of yours so far. So good dude! Even that snowy background is fantastic. Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas!

Jonatha Brooke uses a similar tuning, Eb-G-Bb-F-Bb-E, which she says she learned from Bruce Cockburn. Good for folk-rock stuff. The intervals are the same as in this tuning, except that the top two strings are a major third apart in FACGCE instead of a natural fourth, and if you put a capo on fret 2 of the Jonatha Brooke tuning you'd get FACGCF.

DeusEx3 Give it a few years of practice and yeah pretty much
just play guitar. He tabbed all his riffs so you can practice, learn some songs by tabs so you will have kind of a pattern for each tuning in your head (like where and how build chords, pleasant sounding notes etc). At least i did it that way. Just more practice and preety soon you will get it
