Hi my friends! Welcome to Scilla!!!
One of my favorite summer destinations in Calabria region, in the south of Italy.

Scilla is the traditional site of the sea monster Scylla of Greek mythology.
The town has ancient origins that relate mainly to the period of the destruction of Troy and invokes the myths and legends of Ulysses with Scylla and Charybdis, of Homer and Dante Alighieri.

The town's name derives from the mythological figure of Scylla, a young nymph who refused Glauco's love. With this in mind, you can imagine how much beauty and history these small villages hold.

The oldest town of Scilla is Chianalea and derives its name from "floor of the galley," but it is also called Acquagrande or Canalea, because small houses built directly on the rocks are separated from each other by small alleys, like channels , which descend directly into the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Scilla una bellezza della natura, panorama stupendo,c è la casa della salute dove risiedono gli anziani,il castello Ruffo di Calabria,il belvedere di Piazza s Rocco,il lido.un mare stupendo, profumi, bellezze e storia antica narrata da Omero e poi Chianalea ,la Venezia del sud con i suoi pescatori, che si dedicano anche alla pesca del pesce spada

Hay que subir y bajar escaleras empinadas. Las calles son escaleras!!!! No apto para cualquier persona. No es fácilmente transitar y acceder a la costa. El color del mar azul profundo compensa de todas las fatigas!
SICILIA, LA MARAVILLOSA ISLA,
Lo giuro, se altra volta avesse volo diretto a Lamezia Terme da Budapest viaggero. Una volta almeno nella mia vita voglio vedere Spiaggia degli Dei. Anche visitarei Bagnara Calabra per vedere parco di Mia Martini.
