I got my son this one last week. It's an awesome model plane. Very stable an he flew it first go no issues. I really recommend getting this one for the price it's a steal.
That was pretty cool. I had a virsion of that setup. No elevator on mine. It was a real challenge to fly. Yours looked easy and lol, fun!!! Good video. Thanks, Benny
For the loop, pull the stick forward instead of backwards. I bought this and flew it for the first time. It really likes to wobble left and right and I don't really know how to fix it.
Given that I don't care about doing loops, I think this will be the perfect little beginner plan for me to learn how to fly RC planes. I would love to put a little FPV camera on top of it and just putter around a local park or my neighbor's cow pasture for a little while. How far can you fly from the remote before the plane loses signal?
Great flying after watching this i am getting one of them and id say you would get 20mins flight time flying in doors thanks for sharing big like from me bud 🤝
Looks like it would be a fun replacement for the 3-ch QF008 787 airliner. I presume it would be using a similar type of receiver unit and 5-wire servo? Any idea of the protocol? Also what size are those motors?
@@Quadcopter101 Received ours today. All seems to work - though yet to test the auto-loop function. The motors are actually 7x16mm - same as used on a lot of the little 2-channel planes. Waving the aircraft around when powered up does end up allowing the elevator servo to swing too far and jam like you had there. Probably best to sit it down flat before turning it on and tossing it cleanly into the air.
@@Quadcopter101 both condition bring same result. I notice strange behavior on this planes gyro. It would change one of motor speed when it change yaw axis suddenly. I think most of 2 ch plane doing that when the gyro notice changes in roll axis.
Another possible cause of wobbling may be that you're close to stall conditions. Try lowering the elevator trim on the controller to enable it to fly a bit faster.
@@Quadcopter101 did you flying it with almost more than 40% throttle all the time? I think you were right, since my flying style such as gliding style to conserve battery. I'll try your tips to trim the elevator little downward. Thankyou 🙏🏻
I was flying it with barely any throttle. But yes, try lowering the trim on the elevator. It might have got bumped up too high accidentally, or at the factory.
I know its late but i had a really urgent question. I need the user manual of this plane and the r/c. after plug the battery in the plane, some times my rc start to beep and the plane stop working. Please help me
@@Quadcopter101 thank you for the answer. But i check the battery before plug in and it was charge (4.2v). There is any problems like mine mentioned in the manual ? Thank you i really appreciate your work!! You doin great!
I no longer have this plane. But beeping of the controller is almost always a low battery indication, either of the plane, or the batteries of the controller. Have you tried replacing the transmitter's batteries with fresh batteries?
Great review! I have one on order that should be here any day now. The Hobbyzone Duet has a similar 3 channel differential thrust system. I put a Duet system in a cheapie 2 channel F16, and it really made the plane perform.
I came here to mention the Duet. I loved mine. It died a death eventually, so couldn't use the guts of it but, if I could, I would have made a little Spitfire with it - similar to this.
@@DazDaMan I bought half a dozen Duets. I trimmed the wing and tail tips on a couple to be more rounded and painted them up as Henschel Hs129s. They really are fun. I might just get a few more of these Bf109s for more projects.
@@ricomon64 That could well be where I saw them! I thought about repainting mine to look like a Mosquito, but wasn't sure if the acrylic paint would have added too much weight.
Actually no - turns out the double beep is the plane battery is flat. I put fully charged Panasonic rechargeables in and it double beeped after only a minute. My wall charger is faulty because I just went to have a fly and it dived after 30 seconds - I;m charging the plane battery now and its still charging after 20 minutes from the USB on my PC.
To connect it: 1) plug in the plane's battery. 2) Turn the plane's on/off switch to on (it's located right by the battery door). 3) Turn on the controller. 4) Move the left throttle stick full up then full down to arm the plane's motor. Watch the following video to see the steps: ruclips.net/video/MufKaucNgRo/видео.html#t=19m41s Very important. After the flight, always remember to unplug the plane's battery! Otherwise the battery can be destroyed by being drained.
I took my propeller off and modified it so that it has less drag, and will turn freely. Hopefully taking out for a test flight this morning. BTW it basically flew itself out of the box. Lots of fun! Update - my mods worked - I made the blades smaller - smoothed the back of the hub - heated them slightly with a small torch and twisted so they have pitch - It worked great - it glides even better.
I adjusted the elevator trim tabs on the controller to adjust the elevator a little bit downward. This lowered the nose of the aircraft, while increasing the aircraft's speed in order to fight the wind. See the video starting at 6:38 < click here.
Bit late but ty for this video, i js bought it because it looked cool, and since i never had one before, i bought it, so i didnt know on whether or not i should refund, but i found this video and it looks Amazing!
I bought a idk temu airplane was a su35 yesterday, Flew it twice, tree'd it twice. Now I'm absolutely hooked and I'm thinking of a 109 will be my next one, wanna check out the three channel, mine it just a two
A big advantage of the elevator is that you can use the elevator trim buttons to greatly smooth out the flight. If the aircraft keeps wanting to climb, give it a little downward trim until smooth level flight is achieved. If it keeps heading to the ground, give it some upward trim. The end effect should be that climbing and descent should be mainly controlled through the throttle, and not the elevator.
@@Quadcopter101 so I actually learned it's only a 2 channel, so the throttle dictates altitude, but I'm 5/5 for landing it in a tree, so I named it tree branch. Literally just lost my first prop about an hour ago😅
No, the plane is actually three channel (throttle, rudder (differential thrust), and elevator). But in both real and RC airplanes, the elevator is used primarily for adjusting the speed of the aircraft, and throttle for altitude. I know that it sounds counter-intuitive. The elevator can be used for momentary elevation changes, but you would also need to adjust the throttle to maintain that elevation.
@@Quadcopter101 my fault, was talking bout my little plane being a 2 channel. Looking forward to this little bad boy you had on the video. 109 is a fav of mine

Pascal has determined that the protocol is a variant of MT99XX/F949G. It can be flown on that (Rates on ch6) but maybe needs more work.
