Also If Schneider becomes playable, that would technically reunite Vertin with her because when you get a character, you canonically pulled them from the sea and keep them in the suitcase, which means Schneider's dialogue would probably be pretty close to canon. Which means it is the closest we will get to a canon reunion
Being told what she wishes for and all she asks from Vertin was "Don't forget me" was the hitting point 😭 and I will never recover when Schneider said "I always wanted to be lucky", that hurts so much.
That wish really become the curse for Vertin, really, the first time she said that I said "whoa whoa, that's a curse she put into you, Vertin" and the beginning of story 3 is sad.
She has a kit designed (debuffs + damage) and even has a psychube in the store that synergizes with her kit. It's pretty much guaranteed that we'll get a banner for her eventually. CN is a few months ahead of us but they don't have Schneider yet, so we'll have quite a long wait until then, though.

Schneider makes me feel something I've never felt before. Never tears up over a fictional character, never think about them 24/7, never ACTUALLY emotionally attached to them. But from only two chapters, this character can messed up and play w my feelings.

Schneider's death has affected me that much its both a curse and reward cause i just keep remembering with games i get to heavily invested into the story hell ill never see oranges the same way for atleast a good long long while... like i said a curse at times..

Then, I found this song, and pain shrugged through my spine. But nothing lasts forever. Even the immortal will be erodes by time. I guess the job as the timekeeper really brings great price to Vertin's emotions, I must admit.

Why I care for her is because she is fellow arcanist. Yes she is murderer but because she is arcanist like the mc, we the player ignore it and more care for her than faceless normie. Yet the end the revelations really bring new complexity in emotions.
