I love DIY speakers, especially these kinds! I would've love to see the same speaker, but with a LED inticator on batterylife or something. That would make it so much easier to know when to charge, instead of possibly bringing it outside with people and then it goes flat just after a few min or so, if you get the vibe. Keep up the good work! I love your content

Dude, a few tips about PVC boards. Get piece of 30cm of big PVC pipes (100mm or above) cut in the middle only once and put it in the oven to heat it up. The rest is exactly like you did: put between 2 flat surfaces and some weight over it for a few minutes. Then you can use those metal cutting scissors, you know? It's pretty easy to mold it with heat from a cigarette lighter and so on. There are people that makes LOTS of things with that material! Anyway, if you want any indication of channels that use that material, so you can have an idea, it's just ask. 😉
Loved it apart from when you were drilling out the end caps holding them with bare hands. Took be back to Metal Work at night school when a man drilled into metal holding it with hands instead of using Mole Grips like we were taught to. It cut him really badly 🤐
I am watching this for over 2 years now. Its very difficult to get parts here in India mostly the passive radiator. I am going to make one for sure and share with you. Such a great inspiration you're. keep it up.

Cara eu modifiquei uma xtreme nao deve ser muito diferente e te dou uma dica so pra manter ela tocando por umas 3 h a 4 no volume medio sao necessarias 6 celulas nao em 3s talvez fique melhor em 4s mas eu fiz em 3 agora vou ter que comprar mais umas 6 celulas pra poder manter ela tocando no maximo so comentei pra vc fica ciente o som e incrivel mas estude a energia que ela usara primeiro ela e um monstrinho consome demais

Its too much work. I bought the WOOZIK Rockit Go / S213 Bluetooth Speaker w/ LED lights from Newegg.com for $26 bucks...just make sure it's the S213 w/ LED lights. Good luck.
Probably not at sound quality, maybe it is louder.Just think that jbl engineered and tested lots of speakers before launching the extreme.This guy did it like he felt

I like the final finish of whole proyect, congrats!!, what I don't is the way he glued internal pieces, it looks messy and makes hard any future improvement or repair, I'm just saying.

I think an awesome upgrade for version 3.0 would be an Audio Spectrum Analyser. This would be much cooler than just 4 yellow LED'S.
