The only time I don’t carry a folder is if I’m using my Arc because of the blade steel. My P2 Leatherman I modded and removed the blade so it is a blade less tool I carry to work with a dedicated folder.
Do the pliers on the Spirit have play? I ordered it for myself, a new one arrived covered in oil, but the pliers play so well in the area of the axle, is this how it should be or not?
Mine is rock solid, virtually no play. If you have noticeable play, I’d consider sending it back. And mine came covered in oil as well, just wiped it down and it’s good to go
I just received mine and also have a lot of play in the pliers, to the point where I can see the gap open and close in the pivot...did you send it back?
