John Decon is the bass player and very underrated ❤
Thank you for acknowledging John Deacon on the bass… he was often overlooked but Queen wouldn’t have been what they were without him. 💜
Queen is the best Band . .all four are lyric writers and legendary musicians each.
I am 84years old. I love this band . I love your reactions. Long live Queen.
Hello darling, the one you don't know is Queen's secret weapon, the amazingly talented bassist, John Deacon.
Hard to believe he was sick, really sick, when he did this. He was a true entertainer & he was absolutely brilliant. Gone way, way to soon.
Heartbreaking
He is Legend and love us forever!
He hadn't gotten really sick quite yet....but soon.
Freddie always had very definite ideas about the outfits and Diana Moseley created some of the most iconic costumes for Freddie, like this yellow jacket.
I’ve read that Michael Jackson admired Freddie, including his flair for on-stage clothing. Makes me wonder whether MJ got the idea for his famous red jacket from Freddie…..?
Freddie could draw himself and was very gifted in design aswell as being. One of the greatest performer and Artist of all time brilliant song writer all of the band are incredibly gifted musicians and when they were performing and creating together it was just brilliant love queen and Freddie so much ❤😊 absolute legends
Freddie has a degree in graphic arts & design. I’m sure he had the basic designs himself. He has also made some of his clothes in the early years.
he also collaborated with zandra rodes earlier on in their career. I'm pretty sure she made the outfits that they wear in the bohemian rhapsody music video (though I'm not sure)
I was at the Queen Museum in Montreux Switzerland and there you can see some of his beautiful costumes...it was unreal
This whole Wembley concert had this same high energy! Amazing
If you’re looking to see a really fun and uplifting video, I highly recommend queen covering you’re so square, hello, Mary Lou, and Tutti Frutti live at Wembley. I discovered it just recently, and it brought the biggest smile to my face. It’s so fun to see the band interact with each other and just jam out. And, of course, Freddie is absolutely camping it up through the whole thing. Also, Now I’m Here live at Wembley is another very upbeat and fun performance. I definitely recommend that reaction.
The rock n roll medleys were a big part of the shows and were always a blast. It was the only time the band played covers, and they had so much fun.
Didn't know that existed, thanks!
This performance is truly A Kind of Magic. The effects at the start - the smoke, the weird noises - eerie, but you anticipate something coming. Then Freddie starts creating the magic, and the rest kick in. Each band member has a chance to shine. All four together - just perfection!
Love Freddie Mercury. RIP ❤
queen is absolutely superb! I miss Freddy!
John Deacon, he is the one that wrote Another one bites the dust, hence bassist...I love this band. And I love and miss Freddie. I am 64 and been a fan since I was 15!
John Deacon on bass never got enough recognition for the sound he added to so, so many great Queen hits. ❤️
Four musical geniuses. John Deacon, on base was the heart of every song and Roger Taylor on drums was the beat of every song. Freddie Mercury ( greatest frontman of all time )on lead vocals. Brian May one of the greatest guitarist of all time. These four guys are QUEEN !!!!! ❤️ You see Freddie Mercury is Queen and Queen is Freddie Mercury .
No... Queen was Freddie...John....Roger and Brian ... together
Freddie went to fashion/design school at Ealing Art College and did create and designe many of his own looks. But, he did also hire others to do so. At least, that is what I have read and seen. I saw a really sweet morning show news segment with his mom, Jer, and she brought one of his books from the time that he was in fashion school, and showed some of the looks that he created. By the way, love this reaction of years. I always love your Queen reactions☺️🙏
Freddie... phew, there are no words! His amazing singing talent, stage performance , instrumental ability.... there honestly is nothing like Freddie!
And the Queen band. They were magic together! ❤
Mercury was a legend. No doubt....no one sounds like him...not even a bit...
And never will
The phenomenal bass player is John Deacon ( Many of us call him Deaky ✌🏼😊) also a great song writer !
This is a great song to open a show. Roger wrote this song for the Queen Soundtrack for the movie Highlander. I really love this song and Freddie sings it perfectly...I have heard Roger singing it as well and he aces it too. Freddie Mercury is the singer, John Deacon is the Bass player, Brian May is the guitar player and Roger Taylor is on Drums. Queen/Freddie did have designers for their clothes but Freddie would make suggestions as to what he wanted as he had his degree in Design, Fashion and Advertising. He would say what he wanted, sometimes with drawings, the designer would come up with the designs and Freddie would approve or suggest modifications for the final garments. Freddie was always into his costumes in the early days particularly because he felt that it made an impact on the audience. He wanted people to be curious about the band before they ever even heard them. Thank you for your reaction.
He also designed their iconic QUEEN zodiac crest ... Love & Miss you Freddie!
Of course you know Freddy Mercury, best singer of all time, Brian May lead guitarist, John Deacon on bass guitar and Roger Taylor on drums. You are absolutely right, you could not put together a better band...the were all soul brothers. A connection that could not be topped.
***Freddie*** 😉😊
Freddie wrote a song dedicated to Brian called "Soul Brother" and the words bring in several of their other song titles. A very clever performance. They were all supremely talented.
Also they are not only one of if not the best Rock band of all time but also one of if not the smartest too, all of them have impressive education degrees
@@janettesinclair6279yes, “Soul Brother”.....Freddie wrote it for.Brian.....as usual Brian was whining about the type of songs that Freddie and John liked...John got fed up with the whining so he wrote “Backchat” as an answer to Brian....who was not impressed...hence Freddie wrote “Soul Brother” as a way of keeping the peace🤩
The great Bass is John Deacon! We love John who always is overlooked.
John Deacon ....Bass! The Quiet One, always in The shadows
I’ve always said that Queen(with Freddie) were their own genre. Queen was always ahead of their time & without them we’d have missed out on amazing music & the first ever music video which due to it popularity led someone to come up with the original idea for MTV(not the sucky version there is now). Queen were amazing pioneers in music and Freddie was the greatest frontman in all of history no one has or ever will top him. Also FYI Freddie went to art school & was known for coming up with his own ideas of what he wanted to wear & he loved Fashion. The guy you’re asking about is John Deacon & he quit the band after Freddie died & refused to play due to the loss of his friend. R.I.P. Freddie we miss you darling!
My favorite Queen of all time was Live Aid
So Good to see you doing more Queen ,your Smile and Appreciate...Freddie did a Album and the Song "In My Defense " I think you'd Love ...Hoping !!!
One can only imagine how many more hits he would've had if he didn't pass away at a young age. It would have been epic!!
Yes Greg! You.should check da fold... hip hop band making a few waves in UK...enjoy
Queen IS EPIC..... they just would be even more epic!
They are gift for all...thanks God and bless all!
One of my favorite performances by the band thx!
Brilliant concert,i was there.was truly magical.seen them twice. All so very talented, with their music & in their own lives. Freddie mercury ( singer) designed their logo, john deacon is an electrical engineer ( bass) roger taylor ( drums) was a trainee dentist. Brian May is a Phd in astro physics & is on tenure for nasa & was knighted now Sir Brian May. His famous red guitar he made with his dad. Amazing.
Freddie was studying fashion designing in college. He probably had someone make his ideas,...but in the early days, and until his time ended, he was always stunning...and unique...in every way!!!!
Freddie designed some of his own jackets he did graphic and costume design in college.Have seen photos of coats he designed he gave them to his sister Kashmira
Over the years, Freddie worked with designers Zandra Rhodes, Wendy DeSmet, and Diana Moseley among others. Costumes were made based on his own ideas & his final approval of their sketches. In early days he shopped second hand vintage blouses and tops for himself and the guys.
Greg ,you are correct ,he had all the power, grace , the lot ,and a great band
You asked about his jacket......Freddie loved opera.....one time he saw a Spanish opera and soldiers in it were wearing jackets that Freddie loved.....he had his yellow jacket made in the style of the military one....if you watch a lot of Queen....their clothes are very stylish....Freddie used to swop clothes around the band....even their photos are excellent....when they went to Japan they bought kimonos and wore them....as a band Queen were unique....there never was and never will be anybody like them again......LEGENDS🤩
You need to react to queens performance at "Live aid" 1985. Considered to be the best live rock performance. His interaction with the fans is phenomenal.
I second that ❤
Your smile says it all... Welcome to the Queen rabbit hole... Enjoy ❤
If you haven't done them already, I highly recommend "Now I'm Here" and "Love Of My Life" at the same concert.
The bass is incredible and the power in that voice.
Thanks for this little time of Queen . Greetings from germany . Queen is my life
Johns bass is driving this song
Freddie was a gift and one will never see again sad to say. The band was just out of this world. Miss them so much!
Queen has been performing amazing, live concerts since the early 70s. Check out " White Queen " Odeon, Hammersmith. 1975 And it was live! Enjoy your channel. 😊 Subscribed
Freddie aveva una stilista che gli facevano vestiti di scena🥰
Freddie Mercury: master showman & vocals
Brian May: lead guitar
Roger Taylor: percussion
John Deacon: bass
Freddie Mercury - There Can Be Only One!
Can't beat Queen live! Great reaction, thanks!
So glad your recognized Deaky's bass line. He is the reason I started learning bass guitar. I really enjoyed your reaction.
The official video/version is good too. After all the years you can listen to Queen's timeless music.
Greetings from Germany.
Liked & subscribed! Great reaction to a fabulous song by the world’s greatest band! More Queen pls, you absolutely must do their performance at Live Aid, 21 mins which is widely regarded as the best live performance ever. Queen stole the show! Love from Australia 🇦🇺
My favourite song 😊thanks for your reaction
Freddie worked with a stylist Diana Moseley. He wanted his jackets to look similar to Spanish opera military costumes. They came up with some iconic looks. ❤
Yes his clothes created Diana Moseley. She said white and yellow like red and white are his colors. She was right although if he puts a potato bag i still be thrilled. 😊 Nice reaction.
Freddie’s degree was graphics and fashion design, so he probably designed them himself! ❤❤
Hey Great reaction! 💯
There will NEVER be another Freddie RIP 🙏🏻
His energy and vocals have still never been matched in my eyes.
I would love for you to react to a guy from Scotland 🏴 called Paolo Nutini ‘Iron Sky’ live at Abbey Road studios. A Powerful performance with strong message 🎶🎵🎶💯🇬🇧
SPECTACOL ȘI MAGIE 👏👏👏👏
There are good singers...there are also great singers...and then there's FREDDIE freaking MERCURY hitting notes as high as the galaxy. Enough said. Mr. Fahrenheit is truly in a league of his own.
Brian May is lead guitarist, Roger Taylor is s drummer and Freddie’s back up singer, John Deacon is bass player and underrated
Loved your surprise when the drums came in.
Watch Impromptu live at Wembley, just stunning and brilliant..pure raw talents
Queen was the best concert I have ever attended 1977 !
Queen ,excelente banda ao vivo em estúdio
A lot of his outfits will be up for auction at the London Sothebys in August.
You could get clothes like this back then - Madonna, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury. Among others. Huge influence on fashion. Lots of people in high school dressed like this. If you lived near an Urban Outfitters back then, before it became whatever it is now. It was full of this stuff. Not his white satin get-up, but this kind of jacket, in this kind of color. Wish Queen was still here too!
John Deacon, the quiet man ofp the group wrote some massive hits, "Another one bites the dust" being the biggest
Yes he had a designer he worked with, he went to college as an art student and designed clothes
Queen and Freddie were a kind of magic!
Hey these guys could butter toast and I'd be there!
Oh by the way , the guitarist for Queen is a NASA scientist, works on the space program.
Infinite ❤
This Performance was from the concert 11th july 86 at wembley Stadium and was the camera test cause the show was filmed the next day complete. If you want to enjoy the song again with warching the whole audience, please watch this song live 12th july 1986
God save Queen
❤ honestly you as enigmatic person understands us in UK thank you ❤
Brian May,guitar. Roger Taylor, drums. John Deacon, bass guitar and of course Freddie, piano.❤❤❤❤
Let's start a Strut Like Freddie Day! Thank you for your great comments. Every one of them 100% true - there has never been, or could not possibly be, a better quartet of musicians
Freddie did have a designer for his clothes but he had a lot of input, before he majored in graphic design, he was in fashion design.
Someone must have already answered this, but the bassist is the legendary John 'Deakie' Deacon
John Deacon. He wrote another one bites the dust and I want to break free
Oh you gotta check out the Red Jacket Freddie wore during FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS live in Milton Keynes. MJ was a huge fan of Freddie so it begs the question .. MJ’s military jacket & one glove?Freddie wore one glove in the early 70’s.
Brians guitar the red special was made by Brian and his father out of a table, he wound his own coil's, used a British coin as a pick = his own sound,
Freddie Mercury. Brian May. Bassist is John Deacon. Drummer Roger Taylor
Legendary John Deacon on bass.
I actually prefer the live version than the music video! But! The video is definitely worth a watch! Queen did the movie soundtrack for the 1986 film HIGHLANDER .. Which was later made into a cable TV series!! Please check out - I’M THE INVISIBLE MAN & SCANDAL 📰
It's been said that when Freddie went out on stage he had a mic in one hand and the audience in the other
lead Freddy mercury, guitar Brian may, drums roger taylor, bass john deacon.
He had a degree in fashion!
Yesss about his cloths he desigh by himselfe event stage he also come help during builtding with carpenter(who comment in other clip)
This song was written for the Highlander movie; and some other songs for it.
Check out under pressure from this concert!!!!
It's worth watching the movie Highlander just for the Queen soundtrack.
the bass players name is Roger Taylor. An wizzard on that !!!
This jacket was designed by Freddie's friend, Diana Moseley.
Yes. He himself wes a designer and at the 85 86 time he had a special woman designer he used to get all his famous outfits
John Deacon is the bassist
If you like a good bass line, check out "Breakthru" great video too.
And its predecessor Keep Passing The Open Windows and many more like Ride The Wild Wind, You Don't Fool Me etc
John Deacon fab base player 👍
Do Queen “back chat “ live 1982 in Milton Keynes 🔥🔥🔥thanks boss
YESSSS then do Action This Day from same concert!!

@@tommullenix9493 Hah! Washed my car on Sunday, sprinkled yesterday! 😑
Never fails 😬
Freddy Mercury sing Brian may on guitar roger Taylor on drums and John deacon on bass.
If you get the chance check out the auction of Freddie s. Things. On tank top I think went for 52;000 lb
You need to see the Saturday version of this it's totally different here's a big giant balloons of all 4 members pop out and float away. This was Friday night poor babies got rained on. Both days are bomb but my preference is Sat check it out.
